Updates below as this company is a JOKE: I got my doors and windows replaced through this company. Having installation day rescheduled 3 times and watching them come late and leave early on construction days. They installed the wrong screen sizes and had to wait a whole year later to get the "correct sizes". However they didn't check the screens until they were at my house and they were also wrong. Now I have had 2 customer service people since the installing of the correct screens and told them AGAIN that I will never recommend them. They left so many holes in the wall that we patched including over and around the doors. The front door and back doors let in air and sometimes do not lock correctly. The response of the customer representative "I will make a note of your experience, goodbye" UPDATE in June 2023: With all the rain lately, I did not notice but under my rug by the back French doors that I got installed, it let water in and my hardwood floors are completely ruined! I just got my floors redone in October. I posted a photo of the damage. 11/4/23- a tech was out here 2 weeks ago, of course the back door floor piece is bad and needs to be replaced. Who knows when that will get fixed. Boards are getting worse and no word on if they will even cover the damages done to my floor. So still refuse to recommend this company! 11/16 so after calling twice, the tech put nothing about the door piece letting in water, or the wood floor damage. Winter is coming and it will get worse. Terrible service! Do not go through this company. So as of 11/28, I had to call again and no surprise but I now have to wait til January 4th to get a tech to look at the back door and ruined floors AGAIN. Might as well prepare for mold at this point... 1/9/24 well January 4th came, no one called and confirmed the appointment so I called and confirmed that the tech HAS the parts for the repair. Well an hour before the appointment, the tech called and said no they do not have any parts so they do not know WHEN it will even get fixed. So wood floors getting worse as it is spreading and door is still broken. So it may be a whole year til this gets fixed. This company is a joke. read more

We are in the middle of a project that Power is doing for us. We have worked with some excellent craftsmen. Marty was very efficient in letting us know about the projects we wanted accomplished. They completed the attic work first and the two fellows who came did a great job. Then we met Gus and Edward when they came for the window project. They were a couple of great guys not just efficient but very clean, leaving the house in great shape. Lucas came to do a quality assurance check and got us set up for a further window project. We needed a few original windows replaced on our 2000 built house and a sliding glass door that was popped and damaged. Power has helped us with everything. Every representative we talked with was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful with all our window questions. They were fast, flexible, and responsive with our timelines. Matt was our first contact, he told us how to handle our HOA and spent a lot of time making sure we knew all of our options for the price of everything. He went through each window with us and told us the pros and cons of replacing each one. He went over financing options and pricing for Power and their competitors along with the difference in product with their competitors. Sarah and Natalie drafted the HOA documents that needed to be submitted, no work required on our end. Brandon did the inspection, making sure that all of our measurements are correct. Brian showed up on inspection day, explaining everything we need to know again, going through our new windows and helping us with how to operate and clean them. Would definitely recommend power to anyone that needs windows replaced. They made the process easy every step of the way. Well, things had been going well, but they are not closers. Most of the issues were around scheduling crews. They had to schedule several crews before one actually showed up. They did good work, but communication wasn't strong. There were things to be fixed after they finished, but I stupidly signed the completion paperwork. DO NOT DO THIS UNTIL ALL OF THE WORK IS COMPLETELY DONE! The payments, which are higher than I was quoted have already started, yet the job isn't done and there has been a pile of leftover materials on my lawn (killing my flowers) for over 2 months. I have called every week and every week they schedule a new crew and promise to take care of things. Nothing has been resolved and I had to threaten to put a free sign on the pile and let the neighborhood take care of it. Unprofessional and ill-equipped to do the job properly. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Hire this company if you want to be ignored when your $38,500 new windows allow snow to blow in your home and the bay window is coming disconnected from your home. If you look at the attached picture you'll see one side of the $8,000 bay window that is not properly attached to our home. We hired Power to replace our windows in late 2019. The job was completed with minimal damage to our home. In October 2020, we asked them to come out and fix a bay window that was literally coming unattached. They applied an ineffective fix that has since failed again. Since then one window doesn't close properly so the snow blows right through it and the bay window is slumping again. We contacted them for a review of the problems and: 1. On January 26, 2021, we had a 2 hour time block that they simply no showed and no called. 2. On February 18, 2021, we had a 2 hour time block in the morning that they no showed. They showed up 6 hours after the scheduled time block to tell us that one window needed replaced and that that the other would have to be properly installed which would require an entire day. When leaving, their representative indicated that they would immediately call us to schedule the day for the work to be completed in the future. That was the last we have heard from them. 3. As a result, we requested contact information for the VP of Operations - Steven Mast. We have left two voicemails for Steven at the number provided 610-874-5000 ext 3889. The scheduler, Griffin couldn't guarantee an exact date of installation due to the supply chain issues, nut he said end of January early February, and he nailed it. Day of installation went as smooth as possible with Carey and his crew be very professional and timely. We've had an amazing experience with our windows! I was wary at first because it started as a knock on the door...I highly dislike soliciting, but had been thinking of new windows for about a year. We gave our info and was contacted the next day to set up a meeting to see what they had to offer and a free quote. The prices were cheaper and quality was still outstanding. So we went with it! Awful. I won't work with these guys again. Their communication is bad, at best, and their customer service is terrible. My first issue with them was with the sales rep. After being at my house for over 4 hours trying to drum up as much business as he could, he then promised me the credit check was a soft credit check and wouldn't appear on my credit report (even after telling him I wasn't going to use their financing). Surprise surprise, I got a credit hit on my report. And then he used the "if it's ok with you I'd love to follow up after the installation to make sure you're completely satisfied" bit, and never heard from him again. Oh, and he handed me his business card telling me I could call him for anything - joke's on me, it's the main office in Pennsylvania. Second issue was with the scheduling. I have an HOA and Power had been communicating with the HOA. The HOA was waiting for some documents from Power, and then when I asked about my scheduled install date, they gave me an excuse saying they were waiting for the HOA. Nope - the HOA was waiting on them. Third issue was the lack of communication. For 4 months I didn't hear from them. From the day they ordered the windows and scheduled my installation, until the week before when I called them to make sure they were still coming out to install my windows. Nothing. So after I called them, they confirmed my installation date and time. Fourth issue was one of the windows was cracked on arrival. It's glass - that happens. But the installer told me that someone should have already reached out to me to start the warranty process. I ended up calling it in later, only to have them tell me that the "QA Manager" would be coming by to inspect the installation and could take care of it then. This "QA Manager" was nothing more than another pushy sales guy. Trying to get more of my business with a "take it or leave it" pricing that I was assured they would never do. After he took up my afternoon with his sales tactics, I escorted him out. Fifth issue was getting this cracked window replaced. I was told it would be done in 3 weeks and was given a date. Three weeks later, I haven't heard from them so called the day before and they assured me everything was ready to go. An hour before the scheduled installation time, I got a call saying the replacement sash wasn't ready and they would reschedule me. This happened 2 more times. Finally, they called saying they had the replacement sash and they set up the installation. They came out, replaced it, and it wouldn't fit. They ended up cutting some of the plastic off the ends so it would fit, but it was so hard to open/close. They assured me it would get better with time and if not, I could start a warranty claim. All they wanted to do was to get the job done, collect their money, and leave. I'm never working with Power again and I would advise you not to, unless you like awful customer service. I left a terrible review on Google and someone from Power replied asking me to reach out via email. I did... twice... with zero response. read more

This company was referred by a friend who had a great experience with them. I wasn't able to even schedule the estimate because the representative could not move forward without finding out my marital status and ensuring all home owners were present at the estimate. They were informed that I am the person who is making all the decisions and am purchasing the windows and that I would not be purchasing the windows on the day of the estimate and was told their policy required my marital status and the number of home owners. I find this type of policy abhorrent and unsafe as I don't disclose the occupants of my home to strangers. I understand they need to protect their time investment but if I am the one making the purchase I do not understand why they can't schedule an estimate. I worry what it would be like to work with a company that does not deviate from administrative policy on something this irrelevant- how would it be to try to work with them on any real issues that come up with the project? read more

Could not be more disappointed. DO NOT USE POWER HRG. We were sold a product that was not actually able to be manufactured. Then we were told we were contractually obligated to use the windows that were manufactured that we didn't want. They damaged my home during the install process and left giant holes in my wall without telling me. They also damaged a window during install. And they ordered the wrong size so my project isn't even complete. However, in their system it says it is complete. This has been a nightmare to navigate. We can't even get an itemized receipt of what we paid for. Corrupt business practices. I would not use this company if you are considering going with them, look elsewhere. read more

All about sales, customer service is quite disappointing! Spent thousands to get windows replaced with them. We've called several times to get sliding door sealed better as we can feel cold drafts coming in during winter. They came once and cocked it with cheap Home Depot cocking we could have done ourselves and then we can still feel the draft. A window cleaner suggested that we have them come check one of the windows bc he was concerned about rot and the seal, they flat out refused to come check that window. Also to get a screen replaced, you have to book them several months in advanced. From the way they sold us the lifetime warranty and 5 star customer service we are very disappointed and would not recommend this company at all! read more

We need our siding replaced. They came by our house and we thought it was perfect timing. We scheduled an appointment, and they called the day of the appointment to cancel. That is not professional at all. A manager or someone could have come out. That just shows if they are canceling when trying to get a sale, I can't imagine how they would be actually doing the work. We recently had insulation blown in our attic by Power Home Remodeling and they also put up silve sheets to help keep it cooler. They said it would reduce the heat significantly. Today we had to have some work done up in the attic and they said it was cold up there and it's July 23. So I would say the insulation and silver sheets are working well. read more

Power Siding. Purchase Siding from this company in 2018, I have had 3 problems with their installation. The 1st side above the garage & below the porch came off, they came & fix it. The 2nd, one is we bought this house in 1996 & nothing ever came in by way under the porch till 2 years later & that was bees, into the house & now this year moths. Call about 3 months ago that 1 piece has got blown away from the very top of the garage on the side & they still haven't come to fix it. BIG MISTAKE getting sidding from them. We had our attic insulation updated. Took 3 guys 2 hours and cost $4,500. They roped me in on a one time offer to have the soffits and gutter replaced for $1100. Gutters toke them 3 times to get them on correctly. Soffits we done by a one Mann crew who showed up at 6:30 on the wrong date to start. He made a huge mess and left it. It to him 4 days to complete and we have to call them back to fix the soffits. Buyer beware. This company will order 10% more product than needed for the project and the installation team will take the extras items home and not get a refund. read more

Weird experience. Multiple visits to my property in the same day. I was on a work call the first time and me explaining that did not seem to register with the saleswoman. Then she caught up with me later in the day when I was working in my yard. Not terrible so far, but obviously a company that employs high pressure sales tactics. When it came time to confirm my appointment (the day after the in-person yard track down), their dispatcher demanded an hour-long "appointment window" where before the saleswoman had told me my appointment was for 6 PM sharp. When I mentioned needing to be somewhere by 7 PM, the dispatcher noted that even if they arrived at 6 PM, an hour was not enough time for them at my property. I can only assume that needing an hour to look at five windows and price out an estimate means I would have been getting a VERY hard sell during that time. Long story short, pushy door-to-door sales while misleading people about getting a "quick and easy" estimate is poor business practice. Life is stressful enough, y'all. I am not looking to work with contractors that make it more so. read more

They provided clear and accurate information and were even friendly with the dogs. Then the pre-install appointment with Charles was a breeze. He answered all our questions and prepped us for the install with detailed instructions and information. Next the install was wonderful, the two man crew installed 12 windows and a front door in one day! Finally, Brian came out for a quality inspection. He confirmed everything worked, demonstrated all the security and functionality of the windows, and helped us get scheduled to put a viewport in the door. From beginning to end this has been a wonderful experience. And the windows themselves are phenomenal.
