I heard two different people in line mention the great price. The Smash burger was very juicy and well seasoned, so the flavor to price ratio is on point. It came with fries which were fine. I do wish they had an alternative side, even if it was like an up-charge for tots, but the old-school simple burger and fries vibe works fine. I also appreciate that they have an online ordering system, and it worked out well. I know most people probably don't care about this, but I'll mention it for anyone looking to book them for an event or something. This is one of the few trucks that has come out that arrived ready to serve anything on the menu flyer that they sent out ahead of time. I appreciate that the prices and items matched, and they weren't out of stock for anything, which has been unfortunately rare lately.

Found parking and headed on in...the first thing that hits you is the smell...followed by the overall look...but if the food was the way I remembered, I was willing. There were 6 of us. Only tables for four. We didn't know and that's not their fault. Sign on the drinks that only ice water was available...so that started our adventure. I'm guessing they do a big takeout business. Anyhow, we ordered 7 sandwiches and a couple orders of fries. The sandwiches were ok but missing one really essential element, cheese!!! So much so, they kept falling apart. Very dry...but tasty. The fries were actually really good. Overall, if I worked in the area, I *might* consider ordering again but only if others were dead set on it. The smell of the place is lingering...not in a good way. I wouldn't go out of my way...it should be renamed The Formerly Happy Grilled Cheese. It kinda made me sad.

However, and this may be just my opinion but, if you're going to call your food truck "The Fried Egg" perhaps eggs should be a part of the make up of most of you menu items. Given the current menu options I think a better name for this truck would be "The Fried Egg is a $1 add-on option." I mentioned to the young lady taking my order that it surprised me that, given the name of the truck, I would have to pay an up charge for an egg. She relayed my sentiments to the cook, who may have been the manager or owner. Nevertheless, I ordered the Classic Smash Burger and did ask for the fried egg add-on. The food was prepared really quickly and the burger looked perfect. However, the young lady informed me that unfortunately they only had 4 eggs left and that they all fell and broke on the floor before my burger was ready. So she handed me a $1 bill as a refund. Obviously disappointed (and skeptical of the story) I accepted the refund and went on my way. The mun was a little soggy but that's what your going to get with you get a true Chicago style Italian Beef. You want all those delicious juices. In my experience, the lobster roll was really good and fresh lobster is really hard to get here in Florida at a decent price. Nice big chunks of lobster in a hot, buttered roll. The bit of mayo, black pepper, and celery did not overpower the lobster. They actually helped bring out the sweet flavor of the lobster. One lobster roll with some chips with cost you a hefty 10 plus bucks. It seems like the price is pretty steep, but hey, fresh Maine lobster is hard to come by in the Sunshine state... well at least to me.
