Todd was great with the financing, listened to what I wanted (and didn't want) and made all that paperwork easy peasy. David was STELLAR with my walk-through and even got my last minute request of vent covers completed in a timely manner. Everyone in the parts department were nice (especially the gal who went to to see if there were any other vent covers in the color I wanted, so sorry I forgot to get your name) and I had a great time buying allll the things. (Warning: it sort of feels like drunk shopping so be prepared! ) My best advice on buying a trailer: take your time. Do your research. Visit all the dealerships. Really spend time in the units that interest you. Is there enough storage? Counter space? When you find THE ONE, go for it but know your limits.

With the very low prices, I assumed there would be extra costs I would have to pay, such as PDI fees. One dealer quoted me over $3000 on top of their sale price to do a delivery and activate the warranty. At Sumner RV, it was included! Dealing with them was comfortable and efficient. I felt like a family member while at their dealership. Thank you Sumner RV! I am so glad I didn't put much merit in the few bad reviews I found. I wonder if they were confused and talking about another RV Dealer in Sumner Washington. Yelp can be a little confusing when trying to post reviews to the correct business.

He texted me back later to say "I'm gonna refund you back your deposit we have full price offer on the 2017 $67,500 my apologies" What a huge waste of time and an emotional rollercoaster for our family. This happened back in March so we're over it now but I wanted to add to others' warning about this business. My kids were genuinely confused that grownups are allowed to behave that way without getting in trouble.

Last spring/2025 we bought off the shelf a stock "cam only" replacement from the Portland store. It was supposed to pair up with our old monitor no prob, :( the counter fella was unaware the wireless-frequencies, cam-monitor, had changed from 2019-2025. Bryan at the Milton location got us into a new superior back up cam system. Matt in their service sector took the time to walk over and give us some helpful tips for install. May not seem worthy of a review but,, after this many years/experiences with Airstream,,, I'm gonna tell you that it's the little things that matter most sometimes. We had a lot of probs in past with long waits on service/repairs when the dealership was under a different ownership at the Auburn location. Because of that I had to learn to fix things myself,, which is usually about a 50/50 lol. Especially electrical. Customer service like that/ boosted confidence for future repairs or upgrades at the Milton location. PS Pic quality/features Brand-motion Cam system are "awesome". Both of our sons purchased a car thru Sunset in Sumner and they mentioned our names to the salesmen. I guess we were supposed to get a referral. Never happened. Then my son thought his car was stolen. We went to the sumner lot and asked if we could at least find the vin number for him. All the sales guy could do was laugh and say that my son could possibly call on star. Didn't even offer the phone number or even pass us off to the manager. I guess we didn't look like we were ready to buy a corvette that day. Bad experience number 2. Now last year we found a used but we thought not abused Cardinal 5th wheel in theBonney Lake rv lot. We were waiting for my husband contract to be renewed and it took a couple weeks longer than anticipated so we paid 2016 prices in 2017. Then the lot people let our to be purchased 5th wheel freeze. So it went to the service center in Buckley. These guys were a joke. Sunset charged us a set up fee. The should have never done that after all of the damage that was done due to their negligence. The rv shop literally took almost a month to fix the problems and it was winter. An off season. We paid a month rv payment to not use our 5th wheel because of their negligence. When we were set up to pick it up it still wasn't ready. The techs couldn't figure out how to fix the exterior lights they didn't fix the refrigerator water leak so when we tried to get water to run thru the dispenser it flooded the 5th wheel. We are now looking to buy a new truck. I can guarantee the one ford dealer That won't get our business is Sunset. Save your time and just drive by. It's obvious that this company is only interested in the initial sale and not building a customer for life

After spending an hour or so wandering the lot, we decided we wanted to learn more about their Coachmen Express line. Jeff provided lots of insight and had no issues working with us on our trade in cargo trailer. A few days later I was contacted Jason to review warranty options and he was able to assist with documents over the phone using electronic signature so I didn't have to drive back out to Yelm until it was time to pick up our Trailer. Today was our pick up day and everything was spectacular! Had a great explanation of what is what and walk through of the trailer inside and out. They installed a weight distribution hitch for an additional fee but it's worth every penny for that piece of mind. I'm extremely happy with my purchase, we love South Hill RV in Yelm!
