This is the best Pottery Barn I have ever been to. The staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. I will never visit another PB again!

I purchased a light-colored sectional and matching console from Modani in Paramus. Upon delivery…read moreand unboxing, almost every piece had visible stains and damage. Following the sales representative's instructions, I contacted customer service and submitted photos and videos documenting the issues. They arranged for a third-party cleaning service, which initially seemed like a reasonable solution. However, the experience quickly declined. The cleaner arrived dragging a steamer across a sidewalk covered in melting snow and salt, then entered my home wearing only flimsy shoe covers, leaving wet, dirty marks all over my hardwood floors. The equipment itself also left marks. While he addressed some of the stains on the sectional, he completely ignored the console, which had clear discoloration on the corners--similar to wear caused by repeated handling in the same area. He took photos and said he would report back to customer service. After that, I received no follow-up. When I reached out, I was told that my claim was no longer valid because it fell outside the 30-day reporting window--even though they were supposed to follow up with a resolution regarding the console and failed to respond. I was also told that the discoloration on the console was merely "the customer's perception," based on the cleaner's feedback. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. While the products may look appealing, the lack of accountability, poor communication, and dismissive customer service make it difficult to recommend this company.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared…read more I purchased a bed frame from Modani (William King Bed, Gray) for over $2,000, expecting quality and durability i was used to from their products. Within approximately two years of normal use, the bed began to show significant structural failure. Multiple metal support legs bending and buckling at the connection points, and the platform boards warping, making the bed unstable and unusable. I contacted Modani and provided photos. In their response, they acknowledged that structural failure under normal use is not expected. However, they refused to offer any type of solution--no repair, replacement, or store credit--solely because the item was outside of their warranty period and has been discontinued. So essentially, a $2,000+ bed failed prematurely, and their position is that the customer is fully responsible and with no recourse. No offer of store credit, repair, partial refund nothing. This was especially disappointing as I am a repeat customer and have purchased multiple items from them. I expected a company that positions itself as high-quality to stand behind its products. Buyers should be aware that once you are outside their warranty window, you may be left with no support--even in cases of clear structural failure.

So disappointed. I love West Elm's stuff, but the delivery experience has been a nightmare. I…read moreordered a bed in mid March that was meant to be delivered by end of March. They rescheduled the delivery for April 3rd, and then canceled the day before as they were missing parts, I was told I would be notified within 3 days when they were able to reschedule. After hearing nothing, I called a week later and they said they would call to reschedule when they have to parts. It is now approaching the end of April and I still have not heard anything about them rescheduling the delivery. I have called to follow up multiple times. In addition to this, I also ordered a couch in March. About 2 weeks ago (early April), I realized it will be too large for my space. I called West Elm to cancel the order, as they did not allow me to cancel online. The woman I spoke to told me it would be no more than 3 days to hear whether or not my cancellation request was approved by the manager. Again, I heard nothing. When I called back today, they acted as if they had never heard that I wanted to cancel the order (now far less-likely to be canceled due to being further along in production). They again told me they would put my request through to the manager. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with someone that was able to get me no answers. I am extremely disappointed with their service. Their products are expensive, and the lack of communication and responsiveness after a sale is unacceptable.

They left the sofa in the loading area of our building, and we were forced to hire a third-party (at significant added cost) who was able to fit it into our elevator by simply removing the legs and cushions. The incompetence and lack of effort by the West Elm delivery team was beyond belief. To make matters worse, they delivered the wrong rug, installed bed frame legs on backwards, and have refused to fully reimburse me for added costs incurred. Shame on you West Elm!

I found some cute home decor and seasonal items for the winter holidays and lunar new year. I also like the furniture pieces and lighting that are featured towards the front of the store. We've been browsing around to see what would look like a good purchase for our place. Homesense had nice pieces that you can touch/sit on. So even if we do not end up not buying from there, what they have on the floor was/is a good source of design inspiration.

The emphasis here is on made in India and China furniture and furnishings -- with a decent selection of kitchenware and gadgets. No clothes, jewelry, shoes or fancy foodstuffs in this iteration of the ever evolving chain of stores owned by TJX. Homesense improves on the chaotic and frenetic merchandising practices of its relatives. In other words -- you will find the aisles logically organized with more limited and better curated selections. If you are looking for that odd off price piece -- like a sofa, chair, table, love seat, carpet or new china, this place is worth a look. As with all the other TJX retail stores, you are buying "off the floor" which means that the stuff has been sat in, handled, returned, jostled about, dinged, etc. -- so inspect carefully before buying -- especially with the higher priced furniture and carpets. Top Tip: Shares a parking lot with Trader Joe's -- which means PACKED on Saturdays. Best shopping experience is early or late -- midweek.
