I only wished I could have bought something. but with "seats" that cost $220+, really didn't match our pockets. And plus, with so many different seats that they have here, also on the markets for cheaper elsewhere, I really wasn't interested in this place at the moment. Even the medium-size chairs were quite pricey. What caught my attention were the small pillows near the walking path outside your store. These were definitely expensive. The employee was definitely interested in trying to sell us a piece, and wasn't too pushy. He did try to prove his side of the company when he explained the "cleanup" of the piece and how easy it was to clean it up when he was at the warehouse nearby. If I was a several-thousand-dollar winner, I'd come here often, but I'm not! So I'll have to pass on your offer at the present time. If I ever hit the jackpot, I'll see about coming back. I'll pass on your name to a few others, who might be interested, though at the present time I don't know too many people who might be interested in your products either.

All our wood furniture are all still in great shape. We reupholstered our Avery Armchair and ottoman because they are still in perfect condition. We love the style but we decided to buy our new sofa. Our Cameron sofa is still in good shape but after 20 years the color faded and we needed a new one. We decided to buy a Spencer Roll-arm 93" and 24" and we love it. The new furniture gives the house a new look to our great room. Our Spencer Sofa is impressive. We choose our fabric and color including customize the cushions with the help of Ellen Kilroy- the Designer and associate. Ethan Allen did a beautiful custom finish on our sofa. I love the firmness of the cushions, size and number of all the sofa cushions. They are a high end furniture company and the value is absolutely there. Do not be afraid to buy the best, you will not be disappointed ! Thanks again Ellen Kilroy!

On a previous visit, Peggy helped us with our selections, making the process smooth and enjoyable. The store has a large selection, and the ability to customize pieces to fit your style is a big plus. The service is always great, and the showroom is spacious. While the prices are on the higher side, the durability and craftsmanship make it a worthwhile investment. Overall, a great experience once again!

My four friends and I drove over an hour away to Danbury to check out Primark. I have never been…read morehere before, this is the only location in Connecticut. Primark is an Irish retailer of affordable fashion for men, women and children. Other locations also carry home items, but not the Danbury location. They are very popular across the British Isles as well as several countries across Europe. The Primark in Danbury is part of the Danbury Fair Mall, the good news is you can access it as its own store, no need to go through the mall. This store is massive, there were so many shoes when we first walked in. There's hair accessories, purses and other small knickknacks. The clothes aren't super organized. The hangers are marked with various sizes, but they are actually all random sizes hung on random hangers. This was everywhere, same with the shoes. I am a bit selective when it comes to clothes shopping, I prefer my items to be mostly cotton. Cotton items were difficult to find or non existent at Primark. We spent two hours here and all I found were two items. Keeping in mind that they are a fast fashion retailer, the quality isn't always there. Loose strings, uneven stitching, unavailable sizes are all a part of the gamble. The wait to access a fitting room was surprisingly fast and efficient. The line to check out was long but moved fast, due to several open registers. I'm glad I experienced Primark, while they aren't for me, they might be for you. Marshalls, Target and Amazon are more accessible for me.

I was so excited to finally find a nice store in the Danbury Mall. Could not help myself feel so…read morehappy to see those brands that I missed from the good old Annie Sez, and Lord and Taylor. But my emotions were soon going to be crushed as I navigated through the store. As I got to the middle of the store 2 girls young were just chatting. Obviously I was not even acknowledged or greeted. Soon after the African American employee said "she is not even going to spend $100". At that point I was hopping they were talking about someone else...I looked up and as they noticed they moved towards the front of the store. I kept looking and found a few pieces but was already uncomfortable after all I'm not the regular size small, white, blond hair customer. I'm the opposite size xl, Hispanic, jeans, bickenstock sandals, crazy hair. At least that is what I look like on my days off. Took an other lap around the store as I found the guts to just shop and not pay attention to the young girls after all....what do they know? As I was just holding 2 pieces one of the girls came up and said: Can I put that in the fitting room? To what I answer no thank you. She then just walked away. Soon after an older associate asked the same question when "I said no thank you" she then said "let me put it at the register" to what agreed to. I continued browsing towards the front of the store and as I was moving I over, I heard the 3 girls talk about a top but didn't put any mind into it. Just kept moving. Once at the front on the left side of the store all 3 girls were now across from me. The one that had asked me if she can put the things in the fitting came over to tell the other girl how I had said yes to the other employee that took my things to the register. At that point all 3 looked straight at me and as they did I asked them if I could help them. The African American girl laugh and said what? you can't help us? No.... I then turn around went to the register any paid. The woman at the register was helpful and tried to apease me. But at this point I was too mad, too angry, too disappointed at the fact that I had been stereotyped. I had been watched and I had been racially stereotyped. As I'm trying to pay one of them realices what is going on and comes to the counter and says "excuse me I just wanted to let you know we were not talking about you...we were looking for a top". To what I responded with "you know that is not true". But I accept your apology...since there was none. she thought it was a good idea to just come up and lie. Why not just leave it alone.

The security people are really nice as are people on the floor, but there's a shorter statured guy with a mullet sort of haircut at the checkout that was bossing people around, whether it's other staff or customers and that's where the experience falls apart for me. I usually try to stop here every once in a while as a little pick me up after a hard day of work. Today I did that, and he was yelling in general out to the store (2xs) to "move up." I was waiting in line for 20 minutes where this wasn't a problem and then all of a sudden it was. He yelled at the third time and then muttered something under his breath, but he wasn't looking at me when I went up to the register so it felt personal. There weren't that many people there and only two cashiers. He was one of them because he was completely facing away from me. I had no idea he was talking to me. Asked me if I wanted a bag and to give my phone number. I said yes to the bag and no to the phone number And he seemed annoyed by this. Additionally, he didn't bag any of the items that I was worried would get damaged in the rain. Also, he snapped at me when I tried to scan my credit card after he scanned everything and asked me if I wanted bags for an additional fee. Assuming the transaction was ready to happen, I went to go swipe my card and yelled at me that it was not the right time to do that. And then I would have to do it again. I noticed that it was registering and I did everything right. And I wasn't scanning again for that purpose and I kindly told him that. Final straw was when I was trying to walk out and the stuff that I was getting as gifts had tags on them that were setting off the alarm. When I brought them back to ask him to please remove them, as that was embarrassing enough, he was complaining that I wasn't handing them to him fast enough and he had to finish scanning someone else, even though the merchandise wasn't even over-the-counter yet and I didn't want it fall on the floor and get dirty. Again, it was a gift. Really annoying and snarky. I don't do my job like this and I don't expect other people to either. I get it, it's a minimum wage job, but you should take pride in what you do. I was perfectly nice until I wasn't treated nice and then I was indifferent at most. He was rude. And he needed a little bit more customer service training if we're being honest.
