I had never thought of using an interior designer before, but the time came when I was going to be living on my own for the first time, and I realized I had no idea where to start. I looked around and talked to multiple designers through their consultation process, and there was nobody as transparent, honest, thoughtful, responsive, and easy to work with as Chelsea--in any price range. Combined with her professionalism, attention to detail, organization, and listening in on exactly what I was looking for, it was an easy decision for me to choose to work with her. We recently moved to a new house and I was overwhelmed with what to with the layout and decor in our family room so I considered hiring a designer for the first time. Chelsea came highly recommended from a friend. After speaking to her about the design process and convincing my husband she was worth the investment we began working with Chelsea in November. Chelsea and her assistant did a wonderful job with the layout and complete design of our space. She was very easy to work with and very responsive to any changes or questions we had. I really enjoyed working with Chelsea because I am an indecisive person so she helped capture our style and saved me a million trips to furniture stores which I typically do when designing a room on my own. Our room is 95% complete as we are awaiting one more piece of furniture to arrive but we couldn't be happier with the space. It is simply beautiful, bright and kid friendly. I heard about KEPT from a friend who recommended Chelsea when I put the word out that I needed help with my new apt. I live on the UWS and if you know NY you know some apts need love. The space was nice but pretty gloomy and needed some life brought into it. I didn't want to live in an apt, I wanted to live in my home.
