Throughout the project, he and his team were nothing short of excellent. Once I shared my initial ideas, he added experience and knowledge of what would and might not work, with alternatives and recent install suggestions. His design ideas were great, and we changed direction a few times to follow his suggestions! The team laid high quality protection materials, and left the house spotless at the end of every day. We stayed in regular contact on project progress, changes, challenges and updates, with him providing useful solutions at every point rather than just announcing an issue! Chris has great energy and loves his work, clearly putting pride into the room. I'll certainly be using him again in future!

I took a chance and put in a query to Yelp for a carpet cleaner. Most of the companies that…read moreresponded to me were large chains that didn't actually cover my area. John at JR however was the first person to get back to me from an actual local company that could do the work. He was great at answering all my questions. This was the first time I have ever had carpet cleaned so I had a lot! We went back and forth with questions and a quote via Yelp email then I called his office to easily schedule the cleaning. This is a small company so they do get booked up but I needed to schedule almost a month ahead of time due to other work being done so it was perfect. Just don't call at the last minute and it won't be an issue for you either. John himself showed up promptly and explained exactly what he was doing and what we needed to do afterwards. He was also able to do some minor carpet repairs we had been meaning to do for years. The job came out perfectly. He even films the dirty water flushing down your toilet to show you how much dirt he sucked out of it! We now plan on doing this every couple of years or so to maintain this carpet and we will definitely be hiring JR to do it again next time. Thanks for the "new" carpet!!

Do NOT use this company to work in your home. They are rude, unhelpful, and worse, extremely…read moresloppy. I hired them to put down epoxy floors in both my basement and garage, and I removed EVERYTHING from both spaces, except for some aluminum shelves and a cabinet, which were just too bulky for me to remove myself. They did not bring their own drop cloths to cover the areas where they were walking, and instead removed cardboard from my recycling bins and taped those to my floors, not front steps, and consequently marked oak floors, masonry steps and wooden front door with epoxy. (They scraped off the expoxy, and the paint, in the process. Fortunately I had paint for them to do touch up work). And they left paint chips all over the exterior of the garage where they were working. I had to force the boss, Peter, to get his crew to clean up the problems. He never apologized, and was instead extremely rude. Finally, instead of taking ten minutes yesterday to return the shelving to the garage and basement, after I had paid Peter, and had asked nicely, he yelled at me and said, "You didn't tell me I had to do that!" I pointed out that I had removed everything else for them to help them with their work, and that they had removed those few things because I couldn't move them myself (my husband died three months ago, and he knew that I couldn't move those shelves by myself). He then grudglingly offered to return TUESDAY, when it was clear they could have done the right thing before they left, and returned the shelves to where they had originally found and removed them. In short, the work of this company was sloppy, unprofessional as well as unkind. Avoid hiring them. There are plenty of other businesses that do this work well. I wish I had hired one of them instead of this one.
