The second time I used Kenny's was in 2013 when I was 8 months pregnant and in desperate need of help with my master bathroom. My husband and I decided to tear down our old bathroom, but it was a hasty decision with no plan of attack that left us with a gutted bathroom and no time to pull everything together. I called Kenny and he came over right away. Not only did he do an amazing job with the tiles, but he helped to guide us through the rest of the process. He laid out each step for us so that we could continue to put all the pieces together and with a lot of hard work I have a gorgeous master bathroom. By the time we were done I felt like Kenny had become part of my family. After this experience I have become a loyal customer. In addition to the above mentioned work, Kenny has also done woodwork in my dining room and has installed carpets. Each time I have always been satisfied. I hired them to put down epoxy floors in both my basement and garage, and I removed EVERYTHING from both spaces, except for some aluminum shelves and a cabinet, which were just too bulky for me to remove myself. They did not bring their own drop cloths to cover the areas where they were walking, and instead removed cardboard from my recycling bins and taped those to my floors, not front steps, and consequently marked oak floors, masonry steps and wooden front door with epoxy. (They scraped off the expoxy, and the paint, in the process. Fortunately I had paint for them to do touch up work). And they left paint chips all over the exterior of the garage where they were working. I had to force the boss, Peter, to get his crew to clean up the problems. He never apologized, and was instead extremely rude. Finally, instead of taking ten minutes yesterday to return the shelving to the garage and basement, after I had paid Peter, and had asked nicely, he yelled at me and said, "You didn't tell me I had to do that!" I pointed out that I had removed everything else for them to help them with their work, and that they had removed those few things because I couldn't move them myself (my husband died three months ago, and he knew that I couldn't move those shelves by myself).He then grudglingly offered to return TUESDAY, when it was clear they could have done the right thing before they left, and returned the shelves to where they had originally found and removed them. In short, the work of this company was sloppy, unprofessional as well as unkind. Avoid hiring them. There are plenty of other businesses that do this work well. I wish I had hired one of them instead of this one.
