I ordered in August and half of my order was delayed for months. The furniture finally shipped and is scheduled for delivery but I never received any information about delivery window. I would give negative stars if I could. Ordered this couch that was supposed to come with seams that match the color of the couch--was told I'd have to wait from august until January because of the custom requested seam color change. They couldn't deliver until march 1st. Then they said our driveway was too full of snow for their truck...we just had our oil delivered no problem. They left, we called customer's service & they told us the delivery manager would call us. They never did--they just showed up shoveled a small part of our driveway then delivered the couch. There was a missing piece and the stitching is the complete wrong color? I'm posting this review because I am appalled at how unnecessarily stressful it was to order furniture from here. It took hours to finally get in touch with a supervisor to do something to compensate for all the trouble the store put us through. And even still we've been told that they need to call us back...unbelievable. read more

I am so happy I found Arhaus!! (recommended by a friend) I went to the Danbury location and Mimi helped me. From the beginning, it was pretty smooth-considering covid delaying shipping. Mimi was helpful and knew her stuff but best of all was in continual contact with me making sure I was aware of delays and shipping dates. She was so helpful and really made sure we knew what was going on. We got our sectional and I feel bad for all of us who had to wait months and months but honestly it was so worth the wait!!! I love Arhaus quality. I also have to shout-out to Mimi cuz I am pretty demanding and I made changes after I ordered the couch. Not to mention I was doing all of this remotely. I purchased bedroom furniture from Arhaus and their Worry Free Plan. I attempted to use the Worry Free Plan, only to receive furniture that was also damaged. I have been trying to get the issue resolved for over a year. I have spoke with Concierge, gone into the Chicago Lincoln Park Store and written letters. It has been such a frustrating process that I finally just asked for a refund for the Worry Free Plan. And of course no one knows the process for that! I was finally told a month ago that I would receive a replacement in September and was given an email address to contact M Linder of Arhaus. I sent an email to M Linder detailing my year long ordeal. I have yet to hear from M Linder or receive a replacement. Consumers have many choices when purchasing furniture. The furniture at Arhaus isn't inexpensive! I suggest you spend your hard earned money with a company that appreciates your business and displays it with great customer service. THAT isn't Arhaus. If I could give 0 stars I would. All I wanted to do was use the bathroom. This was my fiancé and i's first time at the Danbury mall and this just set the horrible mood for the rest of the day. A security officer said there was a bathroom in the store and it was the closest so I said okay sure lets go in there. We went to the back and found no bathroom. So we went around again and finally found one. I really had to go so I jogged briefly to the women's room. Only to find a few women came out of the door next to me. (Employees) and one said to me, "Excuse me, no running in the store!" First of all I want running, second of all I had to go to the bathroom! I literally looked at her and said, "Are you kidding me? I have to go to the bathroom!" She just stared at me. A brunette old looking lady. I was annoyed. While I was using the bathroom my fiancé informed me she had told him not to go in the back of the store and also took some time to stare at him. Idk if a 23 and 24 yr old looked like kids or what. But that annoyed the hell out of me for the rest of the day. You work in a mall furniture store on commission. Don't flatter yourself sweetheart! Bottom line, horrible service, snobby rude employees. Unless you look like you have a million $$ don't come here for any reason...EVEN TO USE THE BATHROOM. read more

Bed finally came, 3 months after the initial order (see my initial review for the full saga). There was a scare at first when it looked like the parts box was missing again, but they found it on the truck. Delivery guys were friendly and efficient. Wish it had gone this smoothly the first time. As Arhaus had requested, I contacted them at the email address they provided within a day of their request, but as of this posting, I have not heard anything. Seems to have just been window dressing on their part. In short, furniture looks good, though we haven't slept on it yet, but it should just not have been this hard to get an in-stock item delivered. read more

We were just going to the mall for dinner and decided to walk by as we are re-doing our living room. Buyer Beware!!!!! The worst furniture company I have ever used go to Ej Edwards!!! I waited 12 to 13 weeks for a sofa , ottoman and Chair , the sofa came in two different colors and wrong size , the ottoman never came with my order ... when I call their customer service they were trying to blame the the sales girl !! What a mess 2 days in I called a gain and I wanted to be compensated for all of what they were putting me through.. they kept me going back and fourth!! I called corporate office and I'm going to email district Manager of the Danbury store the manager at that store was horrible!!! And I'm also going to call and try and reach corporate manager...going to call Comenity Bank and tell them to freeze the credit card.. it has been a horrible nightmare!! Arhaus is probably going to go bankrupt so Be ware!!! I should have went Ej Edwards they were great !! I bought two rooms of furniture their no problems!!!! This review is for the SONO location: I am not exaggerating when I say I have never seen anything like this at a retailer. Arhaus has great products and we really liked our sales associate, Lisa. However, the customer experience has got to be one of the worst for a furniture retailer (or any retailer) in the U.S. We placed an order for several pieces of furniture in July. Almost the entire order was backordered until October, which was understandable given COVID related production delays. What ensued over the following several months was unimaginable. Most of the items were delayed another few months to December. The icing on the cake was that when our coffee table did come in ahead of schedule, some unscrupulous Arhaus sales associate at another store (or perhaps online) came in and STOLE it out of our order to give to another customer. Our poor sale associate was completely caught off guard when the estimate order date was pushed back to Spring 2021, almost 12 months after our initial order. The complete lack of integrity and morals of this organization is astounding. I can't imagine how a company would even make it logistically possible for an employee to do this to their customers. Our associate was able to somehow find us a replacement item, but unfortunately that was not the end of this nightmare. Now the item is being held at a warehouse due to a "tax adjustment" to our order. 23 weeks after our purchase and we still do not have our entire order. Now I have spent hours on the phone being sent back and forth between the store and the Arhaus "concierge" as neither part appear willing to take responsibility to resolve my issue. Who do I have to reach to get my order delivered, the CEO? Worst retail experience I have ever had. read more

Brandon is wonderful. We purchased several items, one of which was a desk. The drawer was not functioning properly, and ONE person in the concierge department was less than helpful. After a phone call to the store we had resolution of the issue within 24 hours. The furniture is beautiful and well crafted, so I am happy to say that we will purchase more furniture in the future knowing the store associates and manager will go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. After speaking with a supervisor in the concierge department we were assured should we need assistance in the future our concerns will get addressed in a timely manner. A few years ago we stumbled on a Bloomingdales while visiting a friend in New Jersey and decided to look for furniture. We were unimpressed with the selection and outdated styles but happened to notice Arhaus across the way. We never heard of it but WE LOVED the selection and made a purchase. After a less than perfect experience with one of our subsequent purchases we took a break. Recently, we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again this time visiting the nearest store in Danbury, CT. That particular store, and in particular, Brandon have restored our faith in the furniture business. I personally HATE shopping but whenever we go, we are treated as though we are the only customers in the store. They listen to our needs and don't try to sell us things we don't want. If we have an issue, it is addressed immediately and given the attention it deserves. The customer service is the best I've seen in any store. We have now purchased at least 10 pieces and with a newly renovated home, we're looking for more trouble to get into soon. Thank you Arhaus and THANK YOU BRANDON. read more

Arhaus is a beautiful store with a lot to offer, however one of the retail women working in there were incredibly rude to my friends and mr. We had been sitting in the store for all of 10 minutes, let this be known there was no retail person to be found and no one was in the store (it was around 8:30 at night) and out of nowhere the lady working there came up to us and jabbed her finger to the door and said "out" and just kicked us out. I understand we maybe shouldn't have been as she said "loitering" in the store, however it would have been a different situation if she had kindly asked us to leave instead of being very hostile. Sadly I will not be returning due to this, but also the outrageous prices. read more

My bed came in June. The paint was chipped in 4 places. I was told they would provide a replacement. It was not available until October, although it was "in stock" when I spoke to the rep in June???? I am guessing they sold the June, July, August, Sept beds to new customers. It is now mid October and I am still tracking down the bed. The transport of the bed is over priced. The quality is fair. Arhaus exceeded my expectations! My husband and I found a beautiful piece of furniture from the Relic collection, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were able to transport the piece all the way back to Philadelphia safely. The customer service here is remarkable! Susan helped us measure everything to make sure it would fit in our car, and Brandon (in his dress clothes) helped my husband load it in since the delivery and loading staff were off on a Sunday. During the process, I lost my keys somewhere in our car and Brandon took the time to help us search through everything, move the giant furniture again, and stand outside in the heat while we found the keys!! I always loved the furniture here, and now I'm happy to say that we will be back for more. read more

As much as I dislike providing poor ratings on my reviews, I feel compelled to share my experience. I have purchased many pieces of furniture from other Arhaus locations and never experienced any issues. Even on custom orders. I wish I could say this same about this store, but that is not the case. I ordered a sectional to be delivered to Los Angeles, California. The sales girl had actually recently moved to Ct from LA and was really lovely to deal with. Hence the two stars. She understood that we were in a time crunch and needed the sectional delivered as soon as possible. The sofa was in stock so that wasn't an issue. But everything that proceeded the transfer of money from me to Arhaus was! The order wasn't actually executed on time and that caused an extra weeks delay. The sofa wasn't delivered when promised and then it was delivered to the wrong city!! Now, we need to wait an extra week. And still that would not have been enough for me to give them two stars. What really got to me is when I called today. The sales person did not take my call. Instead a "customer service" person took over. No apology for the enormous inconvenience just the facts...we will be waiting for another week. Even though the sofa is only 6 hours away from its delivery destination. I'm astonished with all the fumbles on this order and for the lack if consideration on the part of their CSR. I'm furnishing my next project in Connecticut and you can bet I won't be using their services. I'll update the review once the sofa is actually delivered and let you know if they got that part of the order right. read more

Cashier treated us like crap as we were checking out. She was a wrinkly blond woman with long hair worn down and thick black glasses. We were trying to buy one small item and as we approached the counter she asked us to wait as she was wrapping an item, which was fine. She stopped wrapping soon and started to check us out. In the middle of the transaction she stopped because the owner of the thing she was wrapping in bubble wrap appeared out of nowhere. We waited five minutes as she assisted him. Then she came back to us and seemed unsure how to process our cash transaction. Additionally she was unable to provide us with a receipt due to our cash purchase. She claimed she didn't know how to give us a receipt. Since she didn't give us a receipt I don't know her name, which I would have liked to put on this review. She didn't appear to be wearing a name tag, unless her long blonde hair was covering it. I looked for her name tag as we were waiting over 10 minutes to complete our transaction. This 10 minutes was when there was no line at the register and we just wanted to buy a small item with cash! The fact that we were asked to wait twice when originally we were the only customers at the counter was really demeaning. Plus how does one person who works at a counter not know how to process a cash transaction? I wouldn't be surprised if she pocketed the cash from our purchase. read more

Beautiful store....... horrible service. We went into the store looking for 6 chairs for our dining room . The sales person (from L.A.) was really polite. Thus the 1 star. She filled out the order properly as a delivery. The invoice says delivery.... told us That the chairs were in stock in our Ohio warehouse , to leave in 2 days . This was 11 days ago. We called 2 days ago to track the order, we were told it was a store pick up...... called the store and was told there was a mis communication??? Can you please get them to us ASAP FOR WE HAVE A DINNER PARTY NEXT WEEK. There person on the phone said "I apologized and said she will talk to a supervisor to see if we could expedite the order. I will call you back today" Never got a phone call.. Called the next day and was told the computers were down. And will have the manager call me back. Never got a call... Called today 4/26/16. And was told by " because the computers were down yesterday, Christine is on the phone catching up from yesterdays problems and will call you later. OK. 4pm no call , so I called the store and asked for Christine and was told she left for the day... I then said I don't understand I was supposed to get a call back for info on my delivery. Can't anyone help,, " no you have to wait till tomorrow. I said I would like to cancel my order she said no problem..i a calm voice. I replied what kind of service do you provide... she said sorry and hung up!!!! Been in the restaurant business for 25 years in Manhattan.
