You walk through the spaces filled with all kinds of unique items and bring it up to the front to pay for it. Cash or check accepted. You can easily get lost in this space for hours! We picked up some German beer steins, some egg coddlers, a book and a few other odds and ends, all at reasonable prices. Yes, some things seemed overpriced but most were fair. It makes for a nice date to grab a coffee then spend a few hours browsing. The staff are always super friendly and very helpful. There is a lot of great stuff in here but unfortunately the vast majority or sellers are charging way way too much. Some sellers are reasonable but most seem to be price gouging. I mean we are talking like $900 for a rocking chair that is broken as an example. If folks were willing to pay these prices they would just buy new. I have managed to find some reasonably priced items of clothing and furniture, but often found that if I found something I kind of liked, I never liked it enough to pay the asking price. It's clear that others feel the same as many of the booths had all of the same exact items they had 3 months ago. Most need to bring their prices down by 30-50% tbh. I have enjoyed window shopping here but probably will go elsewhere from here on out.

As previously mentioned, there's no flashy showroom or big advertising campaign. The store is tucked away next to a go-kart track and can be a bit tricky to find, but seek it out. That means you'll only be paying for a quality mattress and getting a great price. I had done some web research about mattresses since shopping for one can be overwhelming. Factory Bedding doesn't have hundreds of "S brand" mattresses (which my research tells me are higher on promotion than quality) but they do have really good value ones. Carlos is very low key -- he's friendly and knows his stuff. We've had our mattress for a couple of weeks now and are very happy with it, in addition to having gotten an excellent deal. The delivery was prompt, too. A side note about how nice the owner is: When we stopped in to shop for a mattress, there was a lady whose car had broken down. She clearly wasn't there to buy anything, but Carlos gave her a place to sit and let her charge her cell phone while she waited for a ride. This bit of kindness and decency says a lot about a person and a business. Don't waste time and energy getting a pushy sales pitch from a chain with a big ad budget. See Carlos first.

Then as you make your way further into the market you get to more every day items such as clothes, records, furniture, books, paintings, kitchen items, toys etc. The one vendor we attempted to haggle with was not that open to budge on the price. He said I didn't know what they're going through and I said you don't know what we have gone through either that morning. He said you're just impatient. Yes I was and about to faint on their floor after being told it was 5 minutes 15 minutes ago. I didn't yell or curse How much easier would it have been to say "Sorry everyone, we messed up and have to organize everything, it's going to be at least 20-30 minutes, please come back later or tomorrow, again our utmost apologies" Anyhoos banned me from their website and another one too, long time customer of 10 years spending significant amount of money that helps in retirement. I was at one of first auction ninjas sales 10 years ago where I drove down to Scarsdale and found they had given my lot to another customer.
