This location is right in the heart of The Battery and is shared space with Terrapin Tap Room so you get the best of both worlds great brew and great BBQ. I know this will sound a little weird because this place has great bbq and I have tried lots of their items but what keeps me coming back is their smoked bbq wings. These little guys are delicious! A lot of places when they smoke wings they don't do it right and they are usually rubbery in taste. Not here perfectly smoked and cooked every time. You can get them dry or kick it up with their hot bbq sauce which is my favorite. My other favorite here because it's just simple is their coleslaw...it's just cabbage and a simple dressing that is delicious. I also wanted to mention that every time I have come here maybe by luck but I have had great service. On my last trip the hostess saw that my waitress was pretty slammed so she steps in and gets my drinks and food going. I really appreciated it and even let the manager know how impressed I was with her. Definitely worth the trip coming over.

King of Pops has multiple stands, with their signature rainbow umbrellas and colorful chalkboard menus, set up throughout the ballpark's concourses. Pops are also sold at Centerfield Marketplace behind Section 149 as well as by staff who walk up and down the aisles during the game, carrying containers of frozen pops. We stopped by the King of Pops stand behind Section 135. Here's what they were serving: Fruit-based pops: * Frozen Lemonade * Sweet Tea & Lemonade * Raspberry Lime * Blueberry Lemonade * Strawberry Lemonade Cream-based pops: * Cookies & Cream * Strawberries & Cream * Chocolate Sea Salt We got the Strawberries & Cream and the Chocolate Sea Salt flavors. I thought both were delicious; cold and refreshing, nice and creamy, and not too sweet. We ate the pops in our seats while enjoying the game. It was quite delightful. King of Pops definitely enhances any game day experience. They should offer King of Pops at Georgia Tech football and men's basketball games. The pops cost $4 each, cash or card. Unfortunately, no discount for "A List" members (Atlanta Braves season ticket holders). $3 pops for A List members would be nice. Service was good. The lady who sold us our pops was very friendly.

The "local, organic, healthiest food truck" slogan caught my attention so I tried Happy Belly. Happy Belly was started by a couple who couldn't find any healthy foods when they eat out. So they started their own healthy foods. 5% of their proceeds goes to Boys & Girls Clubs to help prevent childhood obesity. I tried the chicken sandwich and it was amazing! It came with gouda cheese and ciabatta bread. The chicken is free-range and it also has aioli sauce . My friend Jonathan got the Georgia Peach. I liked the pulled pork on this one, but the peach sweetness with the pulled pork wasn't my favorite. However, my chicken sandwich was 5 stars. Amazing! The chefs were awesome and man manning the window was really nice even when they were slammed and busy.

If you download their mobile app, you can see which two restaurants are serving each day and their menus. Also remember to use your $2 off coupon on their mobile app! I tried 3 vendors so far in their first two weeks -- Mediterranean/Indian from Karachi Broast, Indian from NaanStop and Caribbean from Family Jerk Restaurant. The menu prices are generally under $10, and portions are good too. KARACHI BROAST - their food was really very good! Got the Mixed Platter ($9.49) which included 1 tandoori chicken kabob, 1 Mediterranean chicken kabob marinated over 24hrs in exotic herbs & spices (very flavorful & juicy!), served w/ pita bread freshly sauteed w/ butter during order time, spicy yogurt sauce, hummus and chicken biryani rice. And enough food for 2 meals. My favorite Fooda vendor so far! NAANSTOP - I usu. work from home on Fridays but I actually came to the office so I could have NaanStop! Ordered their Chicken Tikka Masala Bowl w/ Brown Rice ($6.89), and added other toppings like fresh spinach, sauteed onions & peppers, spicy cabbage slaw and corn salad. I also sampled their "coconut & mint" and "chili & cilantro" sauces ... whoa the latter was super spicy! Food was very good and portion was enough for 2 meals! FAMILY JERK RESTAURANT - ordered their Jerk Chicken which came w/ two sides ... I chose the Rice & Peas and Sauteed Cabbage ($8.49). The Jerk sauce was super spicy - I also tried their spicy BBQ which was sweet/spicy and loved it more ... although quite messy to eat! My co-workers both got the veggie burger but it was more like a veggie patty b/c it didn't come with a bun - but they said the patty was very good. Overall good food, and really nice folks. Looking forward to trying more new places in the upcoming weeks!

The only time I tried Fooda they served Ponko Chicken. The food was overpriced, even with my company's food voucher of $6 and the small portions were served luke warm. What they call a combo was comprised of a 3 tender meal with potato salad - get this the combo part was adding white rice; not even a beverage. The menus shown aren't clear, so when I asked if a drink came with the combo - the guy serving me actually laughed! SMH Never again Fooda, not even with my voucher. I rather starve or eat an old house slipper.

We parked next door at the gas station and walked to the park. There was no parking fee or entrance fee. Atlanta is better off for having food trucks (and this park, specifically). Despite the cloudy, on-and-off drizzly weather, the park had a good turnout of patrons between 7-9pm on a Thursday night. Thanks to those who braved the elements for our UYE (http://www.yelp.com/events/atlanta-atlanta-food-truck-park-uye). The food truck/food stand lineup was pretty good: Sweet Auburn BBQ Corn-a-Cue One Love Jerk Grill Metro City Dogs Lemonade Stand WOW! Food Truck Ibiza Bites Chay J's New Orleans Candies Rouxd Food Truck King of Pops Yum Yum Cupcake Verizon also had a stand. I've been following the park's official calendar (http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/calendar/) over the past month and noticed Thursday nights are the ideal weeknight (excluding Fridays) to go for the most trucks and the best selection. I suspect there might have been more trucks last night if it wasn't for the weather. I ended up trying a little bit of everything: Arepas (Venezuelan sliders) from WOW! Food Truck Beef brisket with Asian pear slaw taco from Sweet Auburn BBQ Goat cheese-stuffed fried green tomatoes from Ibiza Bites Creole pretzels and Creole popcorn from Chay J's I'll be posting reviews for each of those trucks in the next few days. If you come for dinner, I recommend coming on the early side as the food trucks only have a limited supply of items and do sell out. This leads some trucks to close early. I saw many menus with marked off items that had sold out for the day. Yum Yum Cupcakes shut down early because they sold out of their cupcakes for the day. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much seating the park had. I counted 16 large picnic tables in the main "dining" area, most with umbrellas. Each picnic table can seat up to about 8 people each. The picnic tables are located on a flat, paved surface. The food trucks are located in a large gravel lot. This lot has 4 communal standing tables and 2 additional picnic tables. So overall, this spot has quite a bit of seating, which is convenient. Also, plenty of trash cans and recycling bins to keep the grounds looking relatively clean. The park is family and dog-friendly. It can be a little loud because you're around all these big trucks and next to busy Howell Mill Rd. You can BYOB, so save money by bringing your own drinks. If you want water, I saw some trucks selling it for $1 per bottle. There is one restroom and it's a "Johnny on the Spot" porta-potty in the parking lot with portable sink outside so you can wash your hands. There is ample free parking behind the park. Turn onto Emery St, next to the Shell Station on Howell Mill, to find it. If you need more detailed directions, check out the park's FAQ here: http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/faqs/. The parking lot is old and filled with pot holes, so drive carefully. I saw someone puncture their car's tire by running over a broken-off metal sign post on the ground (she was trying to make too tight of a turn around the dining area). Note that every Wednesday and Friday night throughout the summer, the park will be playing movies for free. Also, from time to time, there is live music. On the weekends, there's a food market with rotating vendors and an artists market coming soon. Overall, I'm very happy with the Atlanta Food Truck Park and definitely plan on returning.

In fact, the pizza from this truck (technically, it's a trailer pulled by a pick-up truck) stands among the best pizzas I've had anywhere, brick and mortar restaurants included. The trailer has a legit 1000 °F, wood-burning, all-brick oven inside which the staff uses to bake pizzas fresh. Dominic's was one of a few food trucks we had come to our company's summer party this year. Out of all the food trucks that came, this one was my favorite. The special menu for our event consisted of personal-sized 9-inch pizzas. The types available were cheese, pepperoni, sausage and red onion, veggie (spinach and mushroom), and a white pizza made with fresh mozzarella, ricotta, shredded mozzarella, garlic and oil, and Parmesan. Yum. I asked Dominic's son, who was working the truck at the event, how much the personal pizzas regularly cost and he said $9 each. The truck also normally sells garlic knots, calzones, strombolis, other pizza varieties (e.g. Neapolitan), and desserts like cannoli and NY cheesecake. I ordered a pepperoni pizza was it prepared by Dominic's son. He made it to order fast. I watched as he put the toppings on and inserted the pizza into the oven. The oven is lined up with the order/pick-up window, so you have a front row seat to watching your pizza bake. My pizza came out perfectly and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was thin with a soft and chewy middle and crisp, smoky, black, charred edges. The dough had great appetizing consistency and there was a noticeable garlicky flavor which was terrific. The cheese and pepperoni were tasty and addictive. I never expected pizza from a food truck to taste this good. The staff was nice and speedy. They do have that brusque NY Italian manner. I look forward to trying Dominic's again. I'll probably get the white pizza next time.

I have…read moreeaten pizza at probably close to a hundred places and can honestly say this is by far some of the best that I have ever eaten. Dominic's Neapolitan that is made with all fresh mozzarella, garlic, fresh basil and tomatoes is much better than the Neapolitan at Antico Pizza by GA Tech, which is also brick fired. The pizza here is not cheap, expect to pay almost $10 per personal pie, but with the good quality and excellent taste, it's worth it. I really loved the crust here, it tasted like it had some Parmigiano-Reggiano cooked into the crust. I will definitely eat here more often when I see their truck around. Another good thing about Dominic's NY Pizza is this fella is actually from New York kid, he is not just some chump who sell's pizza and call's it NY Pizza to get more business, he knows his pizza.
