She offered to help me bring my food over to my table even though she didn't have to. At the end of our meal, she also offered to take our trash away. She also kept the tables clean and walked around seeing if anyone needed anything. In-N-Out's service is hard to match, oftentimes surpassing some restaurant's services. So I had to borrow a photo my mother-in-law took of her meal and one from a friend who shared hers. Both said their food was delicious! My hubby and I each had a birria taco, and they were so flavorful. He also tried the lengua taco and said it was incredibly tender. I had the tripas taco, and it was one of the best tripas I've had. So crispy yet tender, and seasoned perfectly! And if you see menudo on the weekend, try it! It's my favorite thing on the menu. I also love that they still have their open nachos bar. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, too. Beyond the great food, Taqueria Las Vegas is truly a Milpitas gem. They consistently support our local programs and give back to the community. Our Go-To Spot at Great Mall! We're obsessed with this place! Every time we visit Great Mall (just 10 minutes from home), we make it a point to stop by. Our usual order? The MEGA size, LOOPY fries with BBQ flavor - it's mild, flavorful, and perfect for sharing with our 4-year-old. We specifically opt for LOOPY fries because they tend to hold onto the flavor really well, making every bite a delicious one! We also stick to regular potatoes instead of sweet potatoes. We tried the sweet potato option last time, but unfortunately, it didn't quite grip the flavor of the added toppings as well as we'd hoped. Regular potatoes, on the other hand, soak up all the flavors beautifully! Be prepared for a moderate wait (10-15 minutes on weekends), but trust me, it's worth it! The mega size is generous and easily shared among 2 adults and a toddler. Parking is a breeze at Great Mall, and this spot is great for grab-and-go. Just grab a seat at the nearby tables and enjoy! I recently visited Potato Corner and had an excellent experience thanks to Jaden Miles. Jaden was friendly and welcoming from the start. They knew the menu well and gave great suggestions on fries and seasonings. Even during a busy lunch rush, Jaden worked quickly and accurately while staying upbeat. Their attention to detail and enthusiasm really stood out. The fries were crispy and the seasonings were just right, all thanks to Jaden's recommendations.
