I needed to make 100 B/W 8.5x11 copies as cheaply as possible. On the phone, they gave me a quote of $0.08 per page for self-service which was significantly cheaper than any other place I called. Then when I got to the store, a clerk helped me at the self-service copier which was very useful. I could have figured it all out myself, but the clerk did it better and had good suggestions such as pressing the darker button a couple of times. I got great copies, great price, great service and it was faster and easier than I expected. read more

As with so many others requiring Canadian passport photos, I came to PostNet Sunnyvale and was amazed at how fast, inexpensive, and precise the passport photos were to Canadian specifications. BTW, you rarely find such friendly and helpful staff in a public-facing organization. I came during the lunch rush and still was out in less than 10 min. I found them on Yelp and went to them so that I'd get some passport pictures that would look better than horrible, but what I also got was an unexpectedly nice customer experience. The place looks professional - nicely decorated, spacious, with interesting types of merchandise nicely displayed, and with brightly colored walls and service "menu." The photographer was nice and very professional - from taking pictures to handling the payment details. There was one more customer, then two more other customers that the he had to handle simultaneously, but he provided us all with a service that was professional and quick. read more

I headed to PostNet this week for passport photos after reading all the great reviews on Yelp. I was running late and called to see what time they opened in the morning when I realized I would not arrive before closing. Pierre answered and very graciously offered to wait for me! When I arrived almost 10 minutes after closing time, Pierre and his staff were very accommodating and I never felt rushed even for the small purchase I was making. I'm one of the least photogenic people I know and Pierre even offered to take more shots after we looked at the three he'd already taken! Very nice, professional and well-priced services. I went to PostNet for passport photos. The guy who helped me was quick, professional, and friendly. It didn't take as long as I thought it would, and it was really easy! They even mailed my passport application from their location. I had no idea this place existed until I yelped it. I eat at Ariake's a couple stores down all the time and shop at that Safeway, but didn't know that it was there. They do a photo printing and photo copying and other stuff like that, and it'll be a good place to the know for the future. Just got my passport photos taken earlier today, and had my renewal materials mailed in as well at the facility. You get 2 photos for $10.99, and the quality is definitely better than most places I've seen. Service is friendly and spectacular and the turnaround time is fast (15 min). I'm another satisfied customer of postnet (I'm specifically reviewing the store on Wolfe and El Camino - no idea about how other branches work). I've had my money burnt atleast 4 times over the last year by going to drugstores and taking passport photos. The gentleman at postnet did a professional job in taking my picture. I've also gotten some forms notarized here, and I really hope other notaries that are choc-a-bloc come here and re-learn how to do it right! One of the staff (I think his name is Ricardo, I'm not sure)was so helpful and took the time to fix the problem instead of waving me off and telling me to come back after ive fixed it. read more

I went to Postnet on a Monday afternoon to get a passport photo and some printouts. Ed and Carlos were very helpful. The interface for the copy machine was complex, but Carlos set up my thumb drive and got my printouts swiftly, then he took my passport photo and developed it while Ed rang up my bill. I was out in about 5 min. They're an efficient communicative team and the store screams "competence!" Just go during the day to get the right amount of customer service, because they're facilities are small (though capable). I think they only have two customer service people on the floor at one time (not including manager). read more

I went in to get my photo taken for a passport. The photographer/cashier was very courteous and friendly, and did a very good job with the whole process. I was glad to see that they actually had the proper equipment necessary for a good I.D. photo to be taken! I will return to this place in the future, whenever I need I.D. photos, and will also recommend it to people looking for a place to get their I.D. photo taken. PostNet also has an option available (for a few extra dollars) to keep a soft-copy of your photo (via CD, e-mail, or USB storage--i.e., if you brought a USB with you) for your records. They also store your images for 6 months for no extra charge, in case you need to go back to print more photos. I'm going to look into utilizing their lamination service too, in the future. Several times I've waited till the last minute to get something printed. Pier and Polly always come through! The print quality is excellent! I really like this place! I came in to get a photo taken for a passport renewal, and the employees here made it a very painless and efficient experience. The employee that helped me was very patient and made sure that I was OK with the photos that he took. I felt bad because I asked him to re-take the photos, but he was willing to work with me to make me happy :) I was about to leave to go to Kinko's to print out the passport renewal document and then to the post office to mail everything out, when I realized that PostNet has everything you need right there! I used one of the computers, printed everything out, and mailed it right away. The employee helped me through every step of the way (he was VERY familiar with the process and all of the instructions on how to fill everything out and send it). When I couldn't find the address to send it to, the employee started looking through his own papers to find it. It helps that they deal with passport issues often because they know exactly what to send and how to send it. I for sure will come here for any passport related issues, and I would recommend it for any type of mail services or pretty much anything that you may need them for.
