On Friday, it was an all male crew. my review is going to be focused mainly on the notary service because dropping off a UPS package should be a seamless experience and it is here. Few things that are convenient about this location, #1 being it's so simple to trip link here. There's Ralphs, CVS, Starbucks, & a number of eateries. #2 parking is free. Thank God. Hate nothing more than paying for parking for errands. Added perk that there is no parking structure. #3 I was able to book the notary appointment in advance. It made this really easy because I knew the notary would be there upon arrival. Another added benefit is the documents I executed required signatures of witnesses. My husband couldn't be a witness but the staff at the UPS location were able to witness the docs for me and they are able to list the storage address as their address for the witness signature, which is ideal. This was simple and easy! I would definitely recommend their notary services. I was even able to make copies right after wet signing everything. Perfect.

The owner has always been pleasant to work with.....until the last time that I was there. I assume that he was having a bad day, however, he made it clear that I was not welcome to come back without stating this directly. I sometimes I ship out things to businesses that will be returned to me. Because of past problems with this location I am extremely careful to ask them to put my name AND address as the shipper, so that it is clear that I do not want the shipment going back to their location by accident. This time the person that I did this through forgot and put MY name on the shipping address but Postal Junction's address. I contacted the company that i had shipped the item to and got the tracking number for the return to me and discovered that it was being shipped back to Postal Annex. Okay mistakes happen. I tend to not get too excited, no one's perfect. The UPS tracking number said the return package would arrive at PJ between 1:15 and 3:15, I showed up at 3:10. Alex wanted to charge me $5 for storage. WHAT? I told him that i had been very clear when sending the package out that I DID NOT their return address as the shipping address so as to avoid problems. He did not care, and was loudly arguing with me while his customers just looked on. I understand that people need to make a profit. But I also understand good customer service. Finally in a fit of irritation, he loudly proclaimed, "Okay take it" (without paying him his extra profit of storage $5 charge). If he were desperate and had kindly said "I need $5 it's a very bad time for me right now," then I would have given it to him, no questions asked. He does make money from UPS also and I always wanted to support him based on past business with him. The biggest issue is the owner, John. He is consistently rude and unprofessional, which clearly explains why so many reviews mention his poor customer service. I asked for his name and he flat out refused, saying, "I'm not telling you." That alone says everything. So immature. This location nickel and dimes customers. Unlike most UPS Stores, they do not tape boxes BUT instead SELL YOU TAPE. For a UPS Store, this feels cheap and unnecessary, especially when other locations tape boxes without issue. They also do not scan packages at the counter. You are told to go do it yourself at the kiosk. Yes they'll help but c'mon just scan a few boxes at the counter when the store is empty! When I placed my boxes on the counter, John removed all of them and put them on the floor, saying customers needed the counter space. The store was EMPTY, one of the slowest locations around because of the owners' terrible service... What makes this even more frustrating is that the younger employees are great. They are polite, helpful, and professional. If the owners stepped back and let the young people who understand service run the place, this store's reputation would improve instantly. Unfortunately, the two older men who run it, including John, are a problem. I now go out of my way to use other UPS locations. Better service, faster experience, a little more understanding customers should be provided tape, and no attitude.
