Needed to fax some forms the other day and since Sam's Mail Call has closed, Postal Annex+ looked close by. The guy behind the counter was really nice and took care of my fax requests in a timely manner. It was about $1.00 per page, but I guess that's the going price these days. He mentioned that location would be closing in the near future. Too bad, it's a cute store with little trinket gifts, cards and some home decor. Today I needed to send a package, so I headed back over there. The girls working took care of preparing my package to mail and making a label. The store was almost all packed up today. I normally use the PA+ on fig garden but this location was a bit closer to an errand I needed to run after work. I walked in 30 min before they closed. It was empty but. The owner came out to greet me, he took my prepaid packages and wished me a great evening. The shop looked clean and is larger than the one on fig garden. I will probably frequent this location a bit more now that I realize how close to my work it is. read more

Walked in today to purchase stamps. The owner was wearing her mask under her chin while serving a customer standing no more than 3 feet away. The employee at the main counter was wearing a mask, but only over his mouth. I walked out. Months ago I came in to the store and observed the same behavior on the part of the owner and the employee. I was hoping the first occurrence was a fluke. So disappointed. The owners are the nicest people. We've been customers for many years. But my own son is recovering from Covid 19 and I know persons who have died from it. I wish this business was more respectful towards the safety of its customers. read more

BEWARE of this place !! Terrible service and attitude from owner..rented mailbox from here should of got suspicious after money was paid for next 3months of mail service up front $60+ as I was leaving that day she advises me to not put in any kind of adress change & to doit myself individually with places when I questioned she referred to usps as unorganized ect problems all the time.The reason she didn't want you dealing with post office is because she knows that her mailbox addresses are not noticed as mailboxes, over 13 packages returened or never recieved several pieces important documents cards etc as per informed ]delivery funny enough most of envelopes missing contained repacement credit & bank cards or priv ate info I got my junk mail no problem,they do not have enough mailboxes they say after you pay the then inform you that they will hold mail inback for you until box available week or 2 at most 3 + months and never got a box! Mail is left out on. I have been going to this place for years! They are open during this COVID BS and as usual, take care of their customers. I needed some public notary stuff and they are really affordable and convenient. Everyone is super nice and they also quite a supply of neat gift ideas ( yup they got me on a few) I enjoy coming here and appreciate folks who take care of their customers. read more

Do not use FEDEX shipping from this place. It will get there late and they will not refund you the full amount. I paid for overnight delivery and package simply was not picked up on time by FEDEX. They only agreed to refund me a fraction of the cost, saying this business gets a discount on its shipping rates. But I saw no discount when I paid, instead it was over $120. So literally getting back less than 1/3rd of my money for a shipment that was painfully late. read more

I asked my daughter to mail a box media mail. USPS website estimated $15.85 with insurance. At the Postal Annex at 1st and Bullard, she was charged $33.24. After confirming with the USPS via phone that my estimate was correct, I call the Postal Annex. They told me they charge a surcharge as a private business. I asked if DOUBLE the cost was fair, and they hung up. There was no indication in the store or on the receipt that they did this. I will NEVER use their services again. Used this location for to get my fingerprints inked for my teaching credential program. I was greeted and helped right away. The fees I felt were excessive I had to get two sets of prints done and was charged $50 bucks for each, yikes. My fault for not asking questions first, I feel their prices or services should be displayed, posted, or printed out for customers to see. Horrible customer service. I dropped off a shipment that was paid postage. The old man behind the counter asked me for .50 cents to tape up my box in which I only had my debit card. I will never go back here. First experience I had was great. Second time only the wife was there. I waited fifteen minutes while she talked to some guy at the notary station gossiping about Donald trump and his wife and their kids etc etc etc. so then she's done and I'm the first in line of four people. She ignores me and tries to help the guy behind me when I'm finally acknowledged she then tells me to go get a bubble mailer and get back in line?? Well they have bubble mailers with them and they helped me with it last time so I know they do that. Apparently that's only when they don't have a line. Sorry, I'd rather deal with the post office. You shouldn't pick and choose who you're nice to and who you ignore or what services you offer depending on your mood. read more

I'm an avid shipper- I sell items online so I'm always having to ship things out. I found this place that specifically says they open at 7 am....so I thought, hey must be really convenient to go to since I can just drop boxes/mail off and head straight to work. I thought wrong. The guy that opens in the morning is ALWAYS late. I'm literally sitting out here right now and he hasn't shown up yet. The only reason I keep coming back here is because of how early they "SUPPOSEDLY" open. I'm telling you 10/10 times I get here, I end up having to wait 20 minutes for the guy to even park and open the doors. So unprofessional. If you can't make it on time every morning, then don't**** have a sign with your store hours on it that obviously is entirely incorrect. Nobody told you you had* to open at 7 AM. Those are YOUR* hours that YOUR* business chose to have. If you can't make it then change your hours and stick to it! I even asked the guy (WHEN HE GOT THERE 22 MINUTES LATER) what the real hours are since he's never there. He laughed in my face and told me never to come at 7 ever again. That he will never come at that time and that I basically just had to deal with it. Anyone has any recommendations of a better place, by all means let me know! read more

The BIG, RACIST DADDY in the back charges people for the dumbest things but it's probably because he has to get up, print a receipt, and do what people who own a postal annex are supposed to do. Sad! I had only USPS packages that already had labels for returns. I needed a receipt since I was shipping expensive stuff. He then proceeds to tell me it's 25 cents for each package I am returning to get a receipt. What a joke to pay $2 to get a freaking receipt?! I'll never go back again. I have no problem boycotting places that have terrible service and charge people for the dumbest things. I've gone to several postal annexes and never been charged just to get a receipt of what I dropped off. I'd gladly ship future returns where the staff wear masks and are not rude! The owner is rude and likes to try to prove you wrong. Terrible customer service. I had something emailed there to print out like I've done at all other locations. Apparently they do not provide this service here. When I suggest they should say that on their website he asked me to show him where it says they DO provide that service. So of course I'm looking at their website and I ask him does this mean you don't have UPS, faxing, or all the other services you provide because those aren't listed either. I will go 10minutes out of my way to avoid this place. read more

Online and on the front door both say they open at 7am Monday through Friday I am here currently and it is 7:15 and doors are locked with no one in sight. Extremely upset I took off work to drop off some packages. read more

First time here and I really liked it. I had to send a package to a client and wanted to get it to them at the lowest cost. The girl who helped me was busy with another task but still took the time to assist me. After reviewing different options I finally settled on going overnight through FedEx. I actually ended up saving money using these guys versus sending the package on my own. read more

Although the people here are very friendly, I will not use them to ship packages again. I sent out a 'flat rate' US Post office box, thinking I was paying the flat rate. However, when I confirmed the box price with the US Postal website I found the store had charged me $5.05 more. When I called to ask them about the difference, only then was I told they have their 'own rates'. My bad for not asking, but deceptive on their part for not disclosing the difference. read more
