Some plants have scale
Maria W.

We love the POST; this place is amazing and kicks ass. It got diverse food options and a great ice cream spot. I love how you don't have to leave this establishment if you want more food. Better than your average mall food court! About the service, I like how the different restaurants text you when your food is ready opposed to just standing there giving you the ability to explore around. All the restaurants staff has been very nice each time I've come. Make sure you make thoroughly sanitize the table that you decide to eat at. I watched the most disgusting thing occur yesterday: a couple changing their baby on the bare table. Nasty! They didn't even wipe the table down then I watched a couple bring food to that same table and eat off of it! Anyways, the ambience is always chill hence people doing whatever they want. I love the industrial look of the place. You can walk around and find different atmosphere of this place. I discovered an area with all greenery; they don't take care of the plants as some have scale (weakness the lifespan of the plant), however very beautiful and calming area

The best part of POST Houston for me is the history behind the building. Knowing the history of the space adds a lot more character and appreciation to the experience than simply looking at it as another food hall or entertainment venue. The building itself has a large, open industrial style interior with plenty of natural light, which gives the space a distinctive feel. There is a lot of room to walk around and explore and since it wasn't particularly busy during our visit, we were able to take our time looking through everything without feeling rushed. There weren't any events happening while we were there, so the overall atmosphere was fairly quiet. I could see the appeal of coming back when there is an event happening, as I imagine the space has a much livelier energy when it's being used for its full range of activities. We primarily went to check out the POST Market, which has a food court style setup with different cuisines and food options. (I'll be reviewing each of the places we tried separately.) The selection was varied, although I wouldn't describe it as particularly extensive. Unfortunately, the food experiences we had were consistently overpriced and underwhelming, which made the overall trip feel fairly uneventful. This was probably one of the more disappointing aspects of the visit. Considering the market wasn't particularly busy when we went, I was surprised by how many tables were sticky or visibly dirty. The washrooms were also in fairly rough shape and could have used more attention. The condition of the common areas was noticeably below what I would have expected from a venue of this size. Parking was convenient and free for the first hour, with charges of $6 applying after that. Overall, POST Houston was a pretty average experience for me. The history and character of the building, along with its open industrial design and natural light, are what stood out most positively. Based on our experience, I wouldn't make a trip back specifically for the POST Market. That said, I'd be interested in coming back for an event to see how different the atmosphere is when the space is busier and there is more happening. Hopefully, more businesses continue to move into the space as well, giving people more options for shopping and dining and creating a livelier overall experience.

What a great place for events! I went to a market for makers event with my girls who are artists. We had a great time. It was my first time visiting POST Houston. This event is geared towards the artists and creatives at heart. The building sets the tone before you even go inside with all the colorful art designs all over. It's like industrial design meeting the new modern design, it's enticing. Makes you want to see what's on the inside. We walked through most of the vendors that had a shop. I say most but there were so many I'm sure there was a lot more to see. The rooftop is a beautiful place to take photos and get a pretty nice view of art district.

We were so kindly invited to the cash app FIFA 2026 USA versus Paraguay viewing party and it was an incredible experience. The post was a great base to host the event. There was a lot of ample space to maneuver around and they had a set up of different games and activities. I will say that the staff was very accommodating and the food vendors were great! They had different types of food set ups from American, Mexican, street food and I loved it. Thank you for the invitation and will definitely be coming back to the post very soon

Post is offering the FIFA soccer game matches on their big screen! Get some food sit and watch, lots of seats available and lots of food options! Good service and clean. They offer pop up markets where you can shop and get matcha or a sweet bite etc. Post is in a great location where you can explore downtown after.

This place is awesome! Used to be an old post office in Houston Texas. However, now it is a place where they have concerts, an art museum, a ton of food vendors, and a garden on the roof! I only went for the food and the garden. I got the soy Pinoy (Filipino food) egg rolls and the yoyos hot dog. Both amazing. My boyfriend got this scratch made chicken Alfredo from another time place that I do not remember the name of. Service was good for all. There's plenty of seating. The upstairs garden was beautiful spot! You can also go to the front entrance of where the post office used to be in there are a vaults in the front where they used to keep the money! super neat. I would definitely come back here//recommend coming here if you are just visiting for the weekend!

I couldn't close out Juneteenth without paying a visit to the Buffalo Soldiers' National Museum Terms & Conditions exhibit that aims to tell a more complete narrative of enslavement and emancipation through the works of severral Houston artists. The Buffalo Soldiers' National Museum tour guide was thorough, as was the information placards that visitors can use to help contextualize what's on displaying during a self-guided tour. There was SO much to look at and take in, that next time I'll be sure to give myself more time to visit, ideally during the week when there's free parking available up to an hour. Parking can be pricey, otherwise.

Coffee Shop

Pistachios at POST Houston is definitely worth a stop, especially if you're a pistachio lover! I tried their pistachio latte and really enjoyed the creamy, nutty flavor. It feels like a fun change from your usual coffee order and makes for the perfect little treat while exploring everything POST Houston has to offer. One thing I love is that you have options. You can get the pistachio drink as a classic latte or go for the matcha version if that's more your style. Either way, that pistachio flavor makes the drink feel a little more special and unique. Don't skip the pastry case either! They have a selection of pastries that pair perfectly with your drink, whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee break or want to sit down and enjoy something sweet. The shop is a great addition to a day at POST Houston. Grab your latte and a pastry, then walk around and explore the rest of the space. If you're already visiting POST for an event like Coffee & Cars, this is an easy stop to add to your day. Overall, Pistachios is a cute Houston coffee spot with delicious drinks, tasty pastries, and plenty of pistachio goodness. Definitely add it to your list!

Check in line
Lupe M.

This review is based off the New Years Eve party hosted by POST. Overall I was disappointed with the whole experience. For the price of admission I was expecting more. Starting with the lines to check in and receive your wristband. The lines were super long and it didn't help the tables were set up very close to the door. Meaning you have a large amount of people crammed in a small area trying to form a line. Once you get past the check in and make your way to the roof top, there wasn't much else. There was one DJ with what appeared to be two speakers. So once you moved to the opposite end of the roof, you don't hear any music. On top of that the music being played was out dated and not mixed very or at all. I was also surprised there were no heaters/lamps to help with the cold. There were also long lines at the bar. This was caused due to there only being three bar stations set up. There was also no heads up or countdown to midnight. The firework display was nice and lasted 8 minutes. Once the fireworks ended to rooftop cleared out. I would guess 90% of people left. I'll find somewhere else to celebrate next year.

Hanging with my valentine
Charisse T.

Hung out with my sister for Valentine's Date Night, we had a event next door so we decided to dine at Post prior to the event the weather got extremely bad but I arrived right before the sky opened up. But that didn't deter others from coming out it was very packed, I found a parking spot right in front but sat in car until rain slowed down. We walked around taking pictures in all the best picture spots before deciding on our dinner spot. We had a fantastic time it was my sister's first time visiting so it will not be our last. Because I parked 3 hours 30 minutes my fee was a whopping 40.00 mind blowing.

The POST in Houston is a visually appealing space with a bright, energetic atmosphere, but my visit left me with mixed feelings. We went right before the Erykah Badu concert at the music hall, so the crowd was especially heavy. On a Friday evening like that, finding a place to sit felt a bit like a rat race, with people constantly moving and searching for open spots. While the lively environment is part of the charm, the large crowds made it difficult to settle in and truly relax. Nothing bad happened, but with so many people packed into one space, it was hard to shake a slightly uneasy feeling. Overall, The POST is definitely worth experiencing at least once for the aesthetics and energy, but I'd probably choose a less busy day or time if I were to go back.

Lisa K ..

Highly recommend coming to visit for the beautiful skyline backdrop! Make sure you're ready to walk up a flight of stairs or opt for the elevator! ;) Everyone who comes to visit Houston should visit! Several eateries, little shops, and rooftop seatings.

Going to POST has always been fun. I've never been to an event hosted here so it's never been too packed when I've ate or hung out on the rooftop. Parking situation has changed over the course of the last couple years. Need to pay now but much safer and easier access with the gates. Lots of dining, dessert and activity options inside and picture opportunities. Love the cocktail bars inside as well!

The Frida collection was extremely popular and that's where most of the museums visitors spent their time. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here and wish I had more time to explore. They do have several dining options at the museum including a Michelin star French restaurant, Le Jardinier. The menu looks great and looks like they had a lunch 2 course option there for $45.

There are murals along the side of the building before you hit the entrance as it is somewhat hidden. There's a warehouse feel.to this place as it is joined with some other businesses including restaurants and retailers This place is a whole vibe, and I can see it as a weirdly cool and wild thing but mostly for younger folks and adults, but probably less enjoyable for elderly (think dark space neon lights, rave like atmosphere, stairs, etc). The mystery is a lot of fun both visual and tangible. My group and I easily spent 3 hours here and then had drinks and food at their on-site restaurant and bar, Cowboix Hevven. The realms are very interesting and there's so much to see and do in each room. Be prepared to get lost and lose direction, but then again is there a direction? There's a pool table at Cowboix Hevven where you can potentially meet some new friends for a good time while munching on food and kick back with a few drinks. The food was just so-so and nothing spectacular while drinks were mid and not worth the price tag, especially since it's served in a plastic cup. Overall, the experience is a very artsy installation with sounds and sights to match. If you are ready for some bizarre, multi-dimensional realms, starting from a radio station staff lounge and walking into the refrigerator, Meow Wolf Houston is where you need to be. This one time experience for me was enough, however, I would be open to it again if there are updates. I'd also be open to visiting other Meow Wolf locations in other cities for varying themes. The gift shop is as unique as the experience.
