The food was to die for!! We started out our day looking for a patio lunch on a beautiful Sunday. We were very pleased with our choice. The open patio had plenty of shade and fans. Now the food! The pork belly deviled eggs were to die for! I should have ordered doubled! The pork belly was so good, I had to order the pork belly with pineapple habanero glaze.

I've been here a few times now and I've always enjoyed my visit. The place has a chill, casual atmosphere that's perfect if you're just looking for a place to hang out with friends. There's a cocktail bar side and a beer bar side for you to place your food and drink orders. There's no table service so unfortunately, you'll have to place your food order at one of the bars. Food orders never take too long to prepare and honestly, for being a bar, I think their food offerings are pretty solid in comparison to your typical bar. There's a small parking lot with plenty of parking during the week. I haven't had any issue finding a spot in the parking lot during the week. On the weekends, however, they do block off some of the spots for valet parking. There are street parking available, but make sure to pay attention to any restrictions. All in all, Bayou Heights is a great place to just casually hang out with friends, whether in a small or large group.

Beer garden located in the heart of the city! As one would expect, limited free parking/ valet parking only. Came here for a comedy show by Don't Tell Comedy (which was fantastic, I fully recommend) Expensive food and cocktails that definitely didn't match the cost in my opinion. I regretted my meal and drink choice when I tried their brisket grill cheese and the cocktail that has lychee and pandan. Overcooked/burnt sweet potato tater tots. Presentation was great however. The vibe of the beer garden is excellent. Plenty of seats indoor and outdoor with fans. Table fly fans to cover the food and prevent pesky flies. A excellent place to catch up.

This place has the very best vibe! It is so quintessentially Biergarten. All of the spaces are so well appointed and fun. The beer selection is extensive and the snacks we had were very delicious . I can't wait to come back and bring friends.

LOVE THIS PLACE! They have a great happy hour Monday- Friday 50% off all house cocktails on the menu 4pm-6pm This spot is three parts: A cocktail side which opens at 4pm A coffee place that closes at 10pm A beer side that opens at 3pm & closes at 10pm Service is great the bartenders are very helpful with explaining each drink as they are all unique and have ingredients one may not be familiar with. I will definitely be back again & again! Definitely recommend in the heights area they have a great outdoor area with swings and tables, heaters outdoor are available. The beer side also has an upstairs area with seating. Came here for a Birthday Celebration (Jason D). This place is big and has plenty of options. To start the beer bar is located to the right side with the big tower and to the left is the cocktail bar. Both are fairly large spaces with a big open space with outdoor tables, fire pits and porch swings in the middle. I started with a beer and they had at least 30 on tap. Solid selection. I also ordered some food. Pork belly burnt ends: 10/10 These were cooked perfect and had a delicious pineapple habanero bbq sauce glazed over the top. Pork belly tacos: 9/10 These were great as well. 3 tacos with great pork belly, queso fresco, avocado and a very good and slightly spicy green sauce Queso: 8/10 Standard queso with pico de gallo. A lot of chips. I like that it came with more than enough chips. Normally refills needed. Then I headed over to the cocktail bar. This place was packed. Bartenders were mixing 2-4 drinks at the same time. I have no idea how they weren't messing up drinks lol. There's no way I could mix 4 drinks at once with no mistakes lol. The best drink I had was the Gamma Ray. It had Mezcal, watermelon juice and lime. It was very good. There's also a coffee shop there too that's open til 10. It smelled incredible in there. My wife had a coffee but I didn't. See her review for details (shakoy B). They offered valet for $10 but it was full and we ended having to park across the street for $5. Thankfully, they still monitored the lot from tows and break-ins. I would/will definitely go back. I'd like to check it out in the spring when the weather is just right. Maybe check out their brunch since the food was so good too.

Cute place for early coffee with parking lot and ample seating indoor and outdoor. Caffeine is from Local Ten Fold Coffee. One barista and it was getting busy, so a bit of a wait for our cappuccinos. Pet friendly and we saw a poodle today. Recommended!

Love this place, love the concept even more. Coffee shop, wine spot, and cocktail spot all into one??! It's my actual dream. To top it off it has thee CUTEST outdoor setup where you can indulge in everything with ease while enjoying the outdoor scenery. In this particular visit I was there pretty early so the coffee shop was the only one open and I enjoyed my experience there. It's one of those spots you can definitely visit with intents to get some work done while caffeinated haha. The inside is super cozy and quaint. Service was pretty good. Friendly and efficient, no complaints at all. Would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be returning possibly at a later time to indulge in the trifecta (coffee, wine, and cocktails)!

Didn't get good photos but I am in love with this place. Actually came to visit their coffee shop which is on the same land but it's the building on the left. Seating inside is cute and there's WiFi to get work done, as well as two outlets on either side of the booths. Only complaint is the lighting is a bit dim. Later, we moved outside to do work and it was heavenly. There's so much outdoor seating and surprisingly, outlet access dispersed throughout near the trees because of their string lights. Ended up getting fries and a drink as well. I like that they have multiple bar spaces to order. On the sides is really cute swing seating. Would definitely come back during the day to do work and check it out at night for the drinks! Such a nice environment

BHBG is my go to beer garden in Houston. The drinks are amazing and the food is great! I loved that they added the coffee shop area in their space. It's a perfect place for both alcohol and non alcohol drinkers. I highly recommend this place for everyone!

One thing to note, even though this is a Biergarten, there is a full bar and there is a full kitchen as well. I went here for a mixer event and I was impressed 1) by the drink menu it's pretty diverse and definitely encapsulates the difference between bartending & mixology. I chose to drink gin for the night and got a silent disco to was absolutely delicious & refreshing (a cucumber gimlet kind of drink) and the 2nd one I got (can't remember the name) but it was like an amaretto sour & a sidecar had a baby! So good Also something to note that I was grateful for, the place does have valet (good luck parking without it) & outdoor seating with swing sets

Back in early December, myself and a few others rolled up here for a birthday Saturday evening. I had frequented the coffee shop next door so I was excited to check this spot out. Upon arriving here, you'll see outdoor seating here with some fire pits and swings and some indoor seating where the bars/restrooms are. Walking in, you'll see the cocktail/spirit bar and on the right side is the beer bar. Food can be ordered at either of these bars (I think). But having eaten already, I was here for the booze and kept it classy with their cocktails. As for cocktails, there are 65 (yes, sixty-five) to choose from that all have different taste profiles described on their menu. My advice is looking over the menu thoroughly before you order. A couple people in front didn't know what they wanted and hounded the bartenders with questioning (Would I like bitter? How did you come up with this name? Did you go to bartending school for this?). All of these could be answered by looking over the menu; make up your effing mind people! Anyways, rant over. Now for the drinks, the Diamonds & Wood (tequila, meletti, china china, lemon, peat, egg white) and Thee Stallion (Rye, Cognac, Irish Whiskey, Dry Curacao) are some of my favorites. The glasswear they use for each cocktail is appropriate to allow the ingredients to properly mingle and breathe. One person in front wanted to have their cocktail in a traditional martini glass and argued with the bartender about it. I'm glad her friend was there to shut her down and keep it the way it was meant to be. We need more friends like that! I didn't try any food here since I had already ate but the items looked delicious, espeically the meat and cheese board and the house made pretzel. I'll have to try some of them next time I'm here. And there will be a next time!

Love this light fixtures and wall art.

The lighting is dark, intimate, and behind every level and door, there is something else going on. There is an element of discovery in every corner and a new adventure on every floor. Ever watch the movie Tron? There are some areas of BCD that feel incredibly futuristic with neon-lit interiors and a legitimate sci-fi feel in some areas. The areas are ass follows: The main bar with a DJ and a spacious dance floor, the red room with a visualizer setup of big bass and pulsating lights, the gold room with a speakeasy feel and a curated cocktail menu, with the secret room that is a unique space behind a certain set of doors. Most of the music on the main bar is good, the DJs are energetic, and the bartenders are efficient while professional. It's not the easiest place to photograph anything, but the different (hidden) spaces make it a worthy destination for discovery. The one area that I don't love is that they rock automatic gratuity. I do love how diverse the crowd is on the weekends, which is a testament to the city. Drinks are solid, but the speakeasy drinks are the ones that stand out the most. The latter definitely comes at a price, but beware that some drinks may have all the presence but not enough of the substance. __________ My photos: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/behind-closed-doors-houston?userid=ysCBsXWPB-LAiewVS3jZfQ

The ambiance was great for the holiday they had themed drinks and specials going on, which added a fun touch and made it feel festive without being chaotic. It felt like a place you could hang out for a while, whether you're there to celebrate something or just have a few drinks with friends. One thing to note is they don't serve food, I did hear they rotate food trucks at times, but none were there when we went which was a bit of a downside, but they did allow us to bring in outside food, which honestly made up for it and gave us more options. Parking wasn't too bad when we went, and since it wasn't super packed, everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, great vibes, good drinks, and a fun place. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a casual hangout or social night out.

We came during happy hour and it was such a great deal. I ordered the Sweet Like Peach Tree, which was light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with the peach and ginger. My husband got the Frozen Paloma and it was just as good, super smooth with the right citrus bite. We also shared the churros and they were honestly a must order. Warm, crispy, and paired with Nutella and caramel. What really made the experience stand out though was our bartender, Manny. He was incredibly welcoming from the moment we sat down, had such a great personality, and made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that kind of service is hard to find. He also told us about their upcoming two year anniversary party on May 3rd with rotating live DJs, which sounds like it will be such a fun time. We will definitely be back.
