Hot day and in need of an ice cold Taro with boba drink!…read more So good!!! Thank you taro root! Tea Rush Express has a small sliding window facing East from 10th street to take the orders, pay and pick up your cold drink. You'll almost miss the window as it's new and it's small not high reaching. I don't know if I even took a pic. The only negative is that if it's early you have to wait in the sun. But it's worth it! I've purchased the Taro Boba drink here a few times so I know! It earned five stars! And this taro drink isn't too sweet so it fits the bill! Enjoy your Sunday and stay safe during this Covid 19 virus. :)

(The place isn't packed) not sure the reasoning. They said it's policy and they give you a number...I came inside to order to go...I have no number. The ambience is cute but the place is small. Keep in mind for large groups. Overall not a bad place, but the weird rules they have are a turn off and make me not really want to come back. Pho Houston, East Ocean, and LE Pho House have better service, and better Pho personally. This one is just close to my house.

I appreciate that you can choose how sweet your tea will be. I got 50%, which was good. I'll probably go down to 25% next time, but that's personal preference. I really loved that the tea was made with fresh fruit. No powders, sweeteners or artificial concentrate. That's usually what I find at most tea places. The teas here are brewed fresh daily and made to order. No bottled teas and you can see exactly what's in your tea. They offer a wild variety of teas, including milk tea. It's about $6-7/drink. A tad steeper than average, but do appreciate the freshness. Will definitely return to try more of their selections.

The quality of the matcha was good, was a simple drink. Good for everyday pick up or if you need something fast.
