Went here for the first time with my family; they wanted to try something new since they've never had boba before. We got 4 drinks: a lemon honey green tea, a brown sugar milk tea, a honey green tea, and a mangonada. I also ordered their popcorn chicken to share with my fam. I was surprised my parents absolutely loved their drinks and kept praising the flavors & bobas, they've never had anything like it. I loved my Brown Sugar milk tea, the lady who took our orders was super helpful with deciding our drinks and what we each wanted. My family was also amazing by the popcorn chicken flavor; it was perfectly juicy, hot, flavorful, way better than all of the popcorn chicken I've had in Houston. If this restaurant was in Houston, it would definitely be a hit. My only tidbit was the wait for the popcorn chicken was a bit long and wish it had more chicken than fries but I understand they were busy with lots of orders, so it's no biggie. Overall, wonderful. I will say this place has the BEST Boba in the Valley and the Pho is pretty good as well. I've been coming here for years but one thing I notice is Service is always a hit or miss and policies are weird. You can't order the Korean corn dogs in the drive through. (The place isn't packed) not sure the reasoning. They said it's policy and they give you a number...I came inside to order to go...I have no number. The ambience is cute but the place is small. Keep in mind for large groups. Overall not a bad place, but the weird rules they have are a turn off and make me not really want to come back. I went to the one on Nolana street in front of the Hollywood Cinema and the staff was great as well as the food i got the rare steak marinade pho and popcorn chicken the flavor was SCRUMPTIOUS. As I go in the young girl at the register does not even notice me nor welcomes me in. Next, she is going in or out doing curbside and does not wash her hands between delivering orders, opening and closing the restaurant door and moving on to the next order. So to start off, the tea and food is great. BUT, if you don't mind waiting a very long time (even when there's little to no other customers). Occasionally, rather frequently lately, they run out of boba, spring rolls, or milk foam. On two separate occasions I've had food left out of my order, given a credit, and only to return to find the credit was never documented. No big deal. Definitely needs work. I always wait, in excess of thirty minutes even for one dish. Again, no big deal. However this last time I waited over an hour! Even then, no big deal, and to be honest there was some new faces so I'm hoping it was the new staff and not a downward trend. One thing that did not like when I dined in was that the restaurant was particularly dirty, and no one was bussing the dirty tables. The floor was very sticky. I'm not going to say this place is dirty everywhere, but I will say that I certainly hope the front end doesn't reflect the hygiene of kitchen. I won't be back anytime soon unfortunately. There are better choices in my opinion such as B's in a Pod or even Tea Rush. This was a totally awesome place at one time, but it's gone down imo. I hope it picks up where it left off.
