She was attentive, answered all of our questions about the menu, and offered excellent recommendations on the restaurant's most popular dishes. Our friends shared the lasagna, while my husband and I ordered the veal parmigiana and the rigatoni Bolognese. Every dish was beautifully prepared, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. The veal was tender, the Bolognese was rich and flavorful, and the lasagna earned rave reviews from our friends. The entire meal exceeded all four of our expectations. Great food, outstanding service, and a warm atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. If you're visiting the Pinehurst area, Lisi is well worth adding to your itinerary. Be sure to ask for Hannah. She made an already wonderful meal even better.

Food came out timely, hot and delicious. Portion was generous. Ratio of meat and cheese was perfect. Restaurant appearance was typical pizza parlor decor and such. The only negative is that the dough could have cooked maybe 4-5 minutes longer in the oven to give it a nice crunch. It didn't crunch and was almost teetering on being doughy. I'll go back for sure. It is loaded in toppings and tastes delicious. Please support this local business and give them a try.

I took a glance at the salad bar and from what I could see, it looked fresh though it was very close to the register and front counter. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza. Compared to other pizza places in the area, this would be considered a medium. The crust was decent, the pepperonis were meh and the sauce was a sweet sauce. Not my thing. Maybe it's yours.

Make sure you make reservations because they're usually very busy. As for the food, I think that this is one of the better Italian restaurants I've tried in NC. The Parmagiano Crab Dip is absolutely to die for...especially when served with their freshly baked flat bread. The pasta all'Ortolana was very well seasoned and filled with veggies. I judge an Italian restaurant by their sauce & meatballs which honestly didn't disappoint. Portion sized are generous...everyone was leaving with takeout containers. All the staff are incredible. This review is a composite of multiple visits. The last one being an ALICE IN WONDERLAND costume themed dinner 10/25/2026. With Halloween around the corner. So , so , so glad we found out about this when we dined there on 10/14/206 which was a personally challenging day for our household, with our beloved Dog of 16 years making it's final travels. Decided that day to go Di Lisio's as it has Family in it's description and my girlfriend had yet to dine there. It definitely ended up as a perfect choice for that and other reasons. Also happened that my longest friend in Winston-Salem who introduced me to this restaurant like eons ago walked in to dine with his wife at pure timing coincidence. They joined us dinning at the bar, the dining room was packed as usual so happy to eat earlier at Bar. And joy to see the bartender's multi-tasking skills, she ruled it. BTW This place only does walk ins no reservations and I think that works. The food always leaves me feeling that I have gotten a hardy treat. Serving sizes are on the plentiful / bountiful side. High likelihood of either going home pleasantly full or even going home with leftovers. And especially delicious when first brought out piping hot. The kitchen must have it together. I love the fairly down-to-earth vibe with tasteful and not over the top decor, seems familiar. Definitely aligns with this is a local family operated restaurant. It stands out in the area. Let's it's food and service provide the majority of it's impression making. It has built a solid clientele and reputation since 2012. Love that it provides interior and exterior dining with the latter being covered. Kind of feels like welcome to our home, enjoy our hospitality. I believe, if I remember what was told to me, that bread and olive oil made in house. The combination will have one addicted before the appetizers and courses come out. The bread reminds me of Italian dinning in NYC during my growing up years. And the place itself says to me I have returned home. The bruschetta topped with grilled steak was the rave, I would be happy just to eat that I was in heaven. And the wine pairings complimented well. I probably could write good amount more about the positive experiences I / we have had. I look forward to always considering Di Lisio's for good food and times.

The chicken caprese scampi was also amazing and caused a happy dance, too.
