Our first night in NC, we opted for Italian food- this was one of the favorites recommended by our B&B hostess. We had to wait a few minutes before being seated and the space is fabulous! Big dining room and an outdoor patio, with light strung about. We sat and started pouring over them menu- I went with lobster ravioli and John ordered a calzone. He opted for the small since we were just visiting the area and it was still huge! My lobster ravioli was the most lobster packed I have ever had! I was so happy! Our server was quick on refills and checking on us- I was very happy with this choice!

We had dinner here last night. I got my favorite dish the lobster ravioli and my husband got spaghetti bolognese. He'd never ordered it before but it was really good! He liked the flavor and enjoyed it. Lobster ravioli is my go-to because the sauce is incredible--it's rich but also a bit acidic with blistered tomatoes.

Really great fresh ravioli, and unique anti pasta appetizer. Cheap red wine and lots of space for big groups. Kind servers although ours was new and didn't have a lot of experience to provide quality recommendations. Food was fast and great. Would certainly return.

Being from NJ probably skews the review. That said it was worth it to try out the restaurant after the zoo. The menu was diverse and offered a lot of options. The salad was delish and while they didn't have Feta, they addd fresh mozzarella and parm. The older server was incredible. The only snafu was the menu indicated you could add a salad for $3.00 but this was not the case.

Friendly people and service. Many different types of sauces. I would suggest the store to or Marsala or pink cream sauces opposed to plain marinara sauce for a great experience!

Smoked Chicken Ravioli

Have been hearing great things about this place for years and finally had the opportunity to go. Went for dinner and was seated very quickly and the waiter was excellent. The meal was wonderful and the bread was delicious.

Great place!

The food isn't what it's put out to be. The bread is old and stale. Pasta has no flavor, just disappointed.

Lisi was the perfect choice for our dinner in Pinehurst…read more From the moment we arrived, Hannah made us feel welcome. She was attentive, answered all of our questions about the menu, and offered excellent recommendations on the restaurant's most popular dishes. Our friends shared the lasagna, while my husband and I ordered the veal parmigiana and the rigatoni Bolognese. Every dish was beautifully prepared, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. The veal was tender, the Bolognese was rich and flavorful, and the lasagna earned rave reviews from our friends. The entire meal exceeded all four of our expectations. Great food, outstanding service, and a warm atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. If you're visiting the Pinehurst area, Lisi is well worth adding to your itinerary. Be sure to ask for Hannah. She made an already wonderful meal even better.

Fix What's Broken Before Expanding!…read more The lower dining room should offer discounted seating. 87 degrees indoors! The table by the patio door should be considered outdoor dining. Correction - outdoor dining has moving air and fans. Food came out incorrectly and no correction or payment adjustment. Wine and water were never reported. $150+ dinner for two adults service should be a little more attentive. Perhaps the business model is for tourists and not locals? The restaurant clearly does not care about repeat business.

All the staff are incredible. This review is a composite of multiple visits. The last one being an ALICE IN WONDERLAND costume themed dinner 10/25/2026. With Halloween around the corner. So , so , so glad we found out about this when we dined there on 10/14/206 which was a personally challenging day for our household, with our beloved Dog of 16 years making it's final travels. Decided that day to go Di Lisio's as it has Family in it's description and my girlfriend had yet to dine there. It definitely ended up as a perfect choice for that and other reasons. Also happened that my longest friend in Winston-Salem who introduced me to this restaurant like eons ago walked in to dine with his wife at pure timing coincidence. They joined us dinning at the bar, the dining room was packed as usual so happy to eat earlier at Bar. And joy to see the bartender's multi-tasking skills, she ruled it. BTW This place only does walk ins no reservations and I think that works. The food always leaves me feeling that I have gotten a hardy treat. Serving sizes are on the plentiful / bountiful side. High likelihood of either going home pleasantly full or even going home with leftovers. And especially delicious when first brought out piping hot. The kitchen must have it together. I love the fairly down-to-earth vibe with tasteful and not over the top decor, seems familiar. Definitely aligns with this is a local family operated restaurant. It stands out in the area. Let's it's food and service provide the majority of it's impression making. It has built a solid clientele and reputation since 2012. Love that it provides interior and exterior dining with the latter being covered. Kind of feels like welcome to our home, enjoy our hospitality. I believe, if I remember what was told to me, that bread and olive oil made in house. The combination will have one addicted before the appetizers and courses come out. The bread reminds me of Italian dinning in NYC during my growing up years. And the place itself says to me I have returned home. The bruschetta topped with grilled steak was the rave, I would be happy just to eat that I was in heaven. And the wine pairings complimented well. I probably could write good amount more about the positive experiences I / we have had. I look forward to always considering Di Lisio's for good food and times.

No frills here, we were all trying to decide if it was going to be really good or really bad, lol. It was great! Pizza came out so fast! My friend got a side salad and we all split one pepperoni pie- I haven't seen chopped pepperoni since I was in school! We went here after reading some delicious reviews. The lasagna was mouth-watering good, with layers of fresh noodles, Kobe beef, cheese, homemade sauce, and even some spinach. It is served with lots of extra sauce, Parmesan, salad with dressing, and a piece of fresh bread. YUMMMMMMMMM! My mouth did a happy dance! The chicken caprese scampi was also amazing and caused a happy dance, too. Perfectly cooked pasta topped with thin well seasoned thin chicken cutlets in a scampi sauce and a lightly drizzled balsamic glaze. Oh wow, that was wonderfully flavorful. Truly, much better than expected, and it had high expectations! The tiramisu and desserts are brought in by a premium bakery. The tiramisu came in a glass container and was simply superb. Logistically, this is an adorable takeout place. The ambiance is very chic and Italian. They take phone orders or you can just wait and look at their take-and-bake items. You may be salivating by now. It really is ok-this place is fantastic. Oh, and since it everything is made-to-order, pastas and pizzas can be made gluten-free! Thanks fellow Yelpers for helping us find a great spot. I'll be back as will others in my family. Likely often, too!
