Capri's Pizzeria & Family Restaurant - Amazing!! - Italian Near Me - Thomasville, North Carolina

They post on their social media about how large their small Stromboli is. It's not big at all. It's barely the size of a small pizza and on their Tik Tok they make t look like their competitors large size. Very disappointing. Don't waste your money. read more

Another school day, another Grubhub order. I was overwhelmed with the choices available on the knee but ended up going the chicken Caesar wrap. Wow! Such a huge wrap and delish too. I added onions and tomatoes - a great addition. I also ordered a side salad with creamy Italian dressing. LOVED the cream Italian!!!! I may order a full sized salad next time just for the dressing lol. My coworkers ordered a burger and it was just okay. The bread was dry and the patty was thin. However they did add ranch as asked and added cheese to the side of fries. Very accommodating. read more

Found this place on a whim while coming back from visiting Greensboro. Wasn't too much in the area, so took a chance with this one despite some not so great reviews. It's very small inside ( especially during to the fact they have an ice cream cooler), and the tables/chairs could use some updating. We ordered the kids spaghetti (a massive portion), chicken Alfredo, and their supreme version pizza. The food was excellent! I love pizza, and have had some of the very best and worst. I have to say their pizza is a solid 7.5/10. The prices for the portions received were excellent. The service is just okay and our drinks were wrong a couple of times. Honestly, I'd go back to get pizza! read more

Ordered thru Uber eats, and our food was great! Ordered the lobster and shrimp ravioli and the lamb gyro and hot chips. Everything was well priced and delicious read more

Service was excellent and the steak and cheese sandwich sub was great along with fries. only couple of complaints are in the handling of food and utensil. 1. waitresses don't wear hair nets when scooping out ice cream, heads with long hair hanging over the ice cream. 2. waitress stepping out side to smoke then coming back inside not washing hands. 3. waitress handling the tops of the rims of drink glasses where lips will make contact. (why I use a straw) 4. waitress seen rolling utensils into Napkins, blowing on each fork and knife then polishing the utensil with a rag and placing in the napkin. Not sure what goes on behind the kitchen doors, I can only imagine. read more

Food is good I love the grilled chicken wraps and Strombolis. Have been eating here for years!

no ricotta in the meat calzone - was told it wasnt listed on the menu w ricotta - but wasnt really given too much time to look just ordered based on past calzones i have gotten here, ricotta wasnt on the menu however all of their other calzones have it - waitress seemed uninterested in even offering a solution- said id have to take it up w the owner but no one came back to the table to discuss - too bad i was actually trying to show off a local place to a new resident..... well that backfired read more

Great family spot that delivers. Whether you're hungry for a pizza and wings or a gyro and salad, this place will take care of you.

Capri's yummmm what to say! They have absolutely amazing food, and pretty much everything on their menu is reasonably priced!

We really like the strombolis. The garlic knots are a nice complementary appetizer as well. The chef salad is more than any one person can eat and it's always great. read more

Giana Says Omg amazing this food was perfect had it delivered three dishes salad Greek lasagna and Stromboli's New York style I am such a grateful human right now got the order perfect and the food fresh as it can be order arrived way early. Me and the kid had the Capris pizza, which is basically the works, and my wife had the calzone. Both were pretty good. I really liked the sauce - sweet but not overpowering. The crust was a litte overdone for me, but not burned. The free garlic knots were on point - saturated with butter and garlic the way I like. That boosted them from a 3 to a 4. The service was fine. The bathroom was clean. Nice little non chain read more

This places is so good I come here whenever I'm in the area. The only problem is that when I get my sandwich they have one slice of each kind of meat... so just make sure you ask for extra. read more

There are few times when I have received such terrible service and had the manager on duty unwilling to take responsibility. Four tables received their orders and were eating while we waited 30mimutes for our food. They came in after us. When I spoke to the manager, His reply was they were busy and doing orders in order. I told him it was not true as I watched the other tables served who came in after us. The meatball subs were okay, not the two orders of hot chips that were underdone and burned on outside. read more

I am very disappointed today. I had the worst experience. this place has went downhill and it used to be one of my favorites restaurants in Thomasville .This establishment is one of the worst I've been to in a long time. The waitresses was not welcoming at all. I went in there today with my family we sat down to a dirty table. When we asked to get it cleaned The waitress just looked at us with aggravation and rolled her eyes giving me dirty looks as they're walking back to get a rag. We ordered a spaghetti and the tomato sauce and it was so spoiled and sour that they had to make us a new one which tasted exactly the same. They didn't even offer to take it off our check ,they made us feel like we were interrupting their day. The restaurant was burning up hot!!! no AC !!! very disappointed I will never visit this establishment again read more

This was my first experience with this place, first of all they don't even deserve 1 star. I rarely have to give bad reviews. Anyways it's not a place I will ever go to again. The traditional wings were like jerky and burnt, the chicken sub was dry and like jerky , the stromboli at this pizza place was awful too. It was a number 1 for worst place to eat . I went to the Randolph st one, in thomasville nc Not a professional establishment, I actually think something else is going on in there because when we walked in. This guy came out hollering like a fool "did they pay" I almost said I want a refund now. I let it slide. My stomach was killing me after I ate just a few bites. I started throwing up, I felt sick all night and I still feel nauseated thinking about it. I'm a healthy person, the food made me sick, my kids wouldn't eat 1 bite. Save your money for a place that is clean and professional. I spent $45 to get sick. I will contact the owner if I don't receive a response. I wont be shocked if I don't. I do want my money back and you can't pay me enough to eat their ever again. Sick and mad! read more

Love this place and have ordered here several times. Food is always hot and fresh! Also portions are big enough for leftovers for lunch.

Used to be a decent little place but now this place is infuriating. I guess a new owner took over several years ago and now there's new staff every time I visit so management must treat their employees poorly. Because of the new employees, mistakes get made often. Most people understand how tight restaurant costs can be but when a place wants to charge for condiments they're doing it wrong. I'm dropping $20 on a sandwich and salad, extra for another ketchup packet or two, and I get home to find an appetizer instead of dinner. Their food is good, usually fresh, and delivered fast as lightning (if requested) but most of the menu is child's portion sized. This place should look at their costs (they're not spending it on decor or the front house help) and find a way to give the customers what they're paying for. Running a special on mediocre pizza doesn't make up for the rest of the menu. read more

Capri's Pizzeria & Family Restaurant - Sandwich was hot, fresh, and the size of a ketchup packet. Take out a loan and order two for a full meal! - Italian Near Me - Thomasville, North Carolina

Not terrible food but not the best either paid 18 bucks for a sub fries and a 2 liter of soda delivery driver did not pay attention to special order and food was cold 3 slices of meat on a sub is not a sub sorry. However for what it was it is was ok read more

I'm visiting thomasville for work & this place is convenient for lunch. The wings a excellent! Soft with a lil crisp-cooked perfectly! The salads are decent. The Garlic Knots will get you in trouble. I also tried the philly cheez in a wrap that was pretty good as well. read more

Stopped here as we were passing through on a road trip. We liked our waitress but the food was mediocre at best. We had their pizza.

Came in for lunch. Very extensive menu from wings, hot subs, which I had the chicken parmigiana sub and it was very good. They also have your traditional Italian foods such as pasta and pizza. Very clean, sanitation grade is 98.5. Wait staff is very attentive and friendly. This place is a repeater for me. read more

Very respectful staff. We have food in a timely manner each time. Their food seems fresher than other comparable places in the area. Would highly recommend! Keep in mind this is a small town restaurant, so if you're looking for something requiring a jacket in order to dine, it's not that formal. It's a kickback and enjoy a good meal place... read more

I had wings delivered last night after eating the wings my entire family woke up hours later with food poison Two had to go tor Urgent care where food poisoning was confirmed. I went to the restaurant where I have been a customer for 5 years and the owner said "What would you like me to do about it" All I wanted to do was get my money back and let him know what had happen. He said no one else got sick from his wings.......It's CHICKEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mis-handle it one time is all it takes...he should know this LOST A CUSTOMER..... Reported to Health Dept...... Definitely not the best, but sometimes it takes care of the hunger. This night in particular... Horrible!!! Service, horrible. Wait time, horrible. Taste, horrible. Our appetizer came out at same time as our meal. Our meals were all bland or over cooked. My 5 year old sons meal came out 10mins after all the other meals. Oh and to top it off, the waitress smacked her lips when she noticed I did NOT tip her. I responded with "that's exactly why you didn't get a tip!" I do not know what is going on, but they need to get it together. read more

I have eaten at this place for many years. I have to say they offer some of the best customer service and food in town. Their wings and steak subs are the best I've ever had. I would def. recommend this place to anyone. I also did my daughter's 6th birthday party here, the kids loved the pizza and the staff was on top of everything. read more

. Good pizza not too greasy and not cheap with the toppings . Order time was accurate great food as a whole

First of all the restaurant is nasty and run down looking on the inside and out. The tables had this nasty sticky feeling. From the start when I was served the nastiest tea I have ever had, I knew it was not going to be good. This place has the most unprofessional, untrained wait staff. We waited an unreasonable amount of time on the food, to the point we were ready to leave without eating and the food was just ok, definitely not worth the wait. We will never go back and would not recommend this place to people we didn't like. read more
