I have been going to the salon for years. The old owner Jessica was absolutely fantastic and did a wonderful job. Today I went in and saw Abby, the new owner, for A $58 haircut. Not only did she chop the front of my hair off making my inverted bob a regular bob, She absolutely butchered the layering. Now I'm left with very short, choppy ugly hair that will take 1-2 years to grow back. I will need to pay someone to fix the layering and I'm left to look like a boy for months. Stay away, great clips does a better job! And the worst part is she didn't seem to care. read more

I had been a long term customer of the salon. During a recent visit I waited as my color processed. During this time the stylists as well as the owner stood around the reception area and talked about their negative experiences at a local nail salon. Not only was this unprofessional, it made my quite uncomfortable. Had I not had color processing, I would have left. During the rest of my service the owner stopped by and quoted, commented and laughed about the conversation and situation. A few days later I was asked to review my experience. I shared my concerns and received an apology call from the owner. Although her apology was sincere, it concerns me that none of the employees or the owner realized that this wasn't appropriate. Although I had been pleased with my service at the salon, I will no longer be a part of a business that shows such unprofessionalism. read more

If only I could leave zero stars.. 10/10 do NOT recommend.. asked for a blonde, ashy balayage .. emphasized that I would like it blended at the root bc I don't want such blunt re-growth.. Samantha had zero hesitation in achieving this for me .. ended up with super chunky highlights and so much brass/orange went in for a correction and was told I'd be charged for fixing the color .. what?! After charging me $200 already? I asked for a refund so I could go to a different salon to correct it.. the owner, who was a nightmare to deal with, said they don't do refunds so.. you messed up my hair .. and will do nothing to correct it? Awful awful service/experience .. I did try to dispute it with my cc but because I signed the receipt for payment, it's on me can't get my money back and out another $200 for someone to get it right .. do yourself a favor and stay away from Posh 22!! read more

I got a facial today and left feeling very disappointed. $90 for a service where I was barely touched. She started late and ended early. The sheets were VERY dirty looking. No sort of intake or anything at all. I think I had maybe 5 minute of my face being massaged throughout the entire facial. No decollete or anything! The steamer was on but only directed at half of my face. The "hot towels" were lukewarm at best. And she had an old school kitchen timer ticking the whole time!! No music to cover it or anything. She even left the room when she put my ten minute mask on. I will never return to this spa for any service ever. read more

Fist time here. I got an appointment with Tracy, paid $40 for master level stylist. They have free drinks ( coffee or water.) 1st, I showed her pictures what kind of hair style I want. 2nd, Shampoo and Conditioner. 3rd, Hair cut and after she done cutting she asked me if that's good. I touched and felt my hair with my hands and told her what I want again and kept going till I'm happy with the hair cut. 4th, She asked me if I want curl or straight!! I usually go with straight hair but since I have never tried curly style I did ask for curl. Will try with straight hair next time. I think I like my hair. Will update later if I didn't after shampoo tomorrow. TIP. If you want to enjoy your drink check in the salon early than appointment time. UPDATE I backed to the salon but Tracy was not available at the momment when i needed my hair done ON MY B-DAY. so I got an appointment with Emily. She was sweet but unfortunately I did not like her doing my hair because she pulled my hair so many times and I did not like how she cuts my hair and how it came out. I was in pain most of time while she was cutting my hair cause the way she cuts... I guess I will stick with Tracy or other stylists except Emily if tracy wasnt available... I was able to book my appointment online with someone who had a level of expertise that I was willing to pay for. (I have had my hair ruined by new colorists and won't risk it again.) Bianca did an awesome job on my hair! It was my first time with Bianca and actually my first time at the salon. I was able to schedule an appointment for the same night, which was great. I've been TRYING to grow out my hair for my wedding next Spring...which is so hard! It always ends up in a ponytail. It had no shape and was really washed out after summer... I brought in a couple of pictures of color that I liked and Bianca and I talked about what would work best for my hair and came up with a grow out plan. I LOVE the color and the cut. It's been over a year, and I have found the salon to be clean, the staff are all friendly, and the prices are fair. I have gotten cuts, color, waxing, and pedicures. If I could give ZERO stars I would! I've never experienced worst customer service. I've been getting facial deals from Groupon since before time and have never complained until now. I saw a Groupon for a facial at this location and called them to set up an appointment. Their receptionist told me to not purchase the Groupon and that they would honor the price in store. I'm all for supporting small businesses so this didn't bother me at all even though that is against the rules. I got to my 4:45p appointment at 4:35p to have enough time to fill out paperwork. I was offered a beverage and I asked for water. Things were going smooth. I turned in my paperwork at 4:40 and waited until 5p when the receptionist FINALLY let me know that the esthetician was cleaning her space and would be with me shortly. About 10 minutes later she finally comes and doesn't even apologize for making me wait 20-25 minutes. Once we get into the room I automatically notice the sheets on the bed. They were battered and stained and didn't look like anything that should be in a professional salon. I overlooked it and proceeded to get comfortable. As I'm laying in the bed the esthetician takes 15 minutes just prepping the masks she was going to use. Once she finally began, around 5:30, she did the facial routine. On my final mask, she excused herself to use the restroom!!! During her 10 minute break I sat there with the mask on my face and the steam shut off. When she finally came back into the room she laughed and says "sorry, I ran into a regular and I couldn't get them to stop talking." She proceeds to wipe off the mask and give me a 3-5 minute crappy massage that I should have been receiving during the 15 minutes that my mask was on. She lets me know we are done at 6:10p. I expressed my disappointment with the two owners of this establishment in a very kind manner. I told the owner that my time was not valued and that I do not feel that this service was worth my $40. I agreed to pay half or was open to listening to an apology and a counter offer of some sort but nope! She said I had to pay full price. I told her I wouldn't and she proceeded to get the other owner. The other owner said the same thing and said if I didn't pay she would call the police. I did not scream, yell or make a scene! I even asked the owner to go off to the side so not to disturb other customers. The second owner dialed the police and I was threatened with a ticket for theft of services if I did not pay. This is the worst management I've ever experienced in a spa like environment. Nothing about this facial was relaxing and was a complete waste of my time and money. Not only was the esthetician 20-25 minutes late for my appointment but she also used 10 minutes of my time to use the restroom and socialize. And what person who is getting a facial wants to know that the person who is touching their face just used the restroom! She should have taken a break during the initial time she made me wait. And the fact that the ownership doesn't honor that concern is very disappointing. The owner even said "well you're already getting a Groupon deal" as if that justifies getting POOR service!!! I obviously would never recommend this place to anyone and would boycott in front of their establishment everyday if I could. TERRIBLE!!! read more

I went in to get a baliage done and they completely wasted my time. I spent two hours there only for my roots to look exactly the same and to only have essentially blonde highlights when I wanted overall color change. Awful results which they tried to blame on the toner they used. Then they told me to come back again to get it brightened. Another 200 for crappy results?? No thanks! read more

I came in for a cut and highlights to blend my roots with my previously dyed hair. My hair is light brown, thick, wavy, course and difficult to work with and yet Jessica did a fabulous job! Sure enough, my hair didn't want to cooperate with the highlighting and the sides got way too white, but Jessica expertly toned it and the results are perfect! It looks very natural, is super well blended with my old color and yet close enough to my natural color that my roots won't have that line as they grow out. I'm so pleased! The cut looks great too. She layered the ends nicely, which is necessary for my hair to behave. As an added bonus, Jessica was also great to talk to; I barely got any of my magazine read! ;). The staff are very friendly and the place is very neat and designed well. I used to get my blowouts done here but they would use very little product on my hair so the meat of my hair would still be extremely curly and unmanageable and the top would come out straight. When I addressed it the with the stylist, she said you don't need much product is I believed her until I tried another couple places who didn't skimp out on product and I got amazing smooth straight hair throughout my whole head. I wouldn't have minded to pay more but when I was quoted a price in the beginning I should get quality work for that price not have the price changed on me middle of the service. She could have quoted me 250 from the beginning but quoted me 175. I should still get quality work for 175 because that's how customers keep coming back. I recommend a lot of people there and they all reported the same thing. I gave the salon a three because they were extremely professional and kind but I won't get my Brazilian blowouts there anymore sadly. Also I felt going awkward going there after a while because I color my hair else where and they suggested no one else touch their hair except them. I just felt weird after a while because I'm particular about my hair color and who does it. :( read more

They left us sitting for over a half hour and never gave us updates while we waited. They sent us an email coupon for our next service to get us back, so scheduled same thing. Got there early and waited. Again never updated us until it was past our appt time and we had to ask! They then scrambled and said they could do one of us but the other would have to wait a half hour. We're done here! read more

Meh. I was super happy with the end results. Just not thrilled with how the salon is run I got a Groupon deal for $69.00 for partial foil and style. I mistakenly thought it included a haircut as well and was informed when making my appointment that a cut was $40 more. Oh okay whatever. Other deals for the same price included the cut so my bad for missing that. At the end of my appointment I was charged $73.00 for other extras. I usually pay $200 for full foils, cut, condition and style - so really not a deal Thing is my appointment took 3hours. My stylists was overbooked so got partially done with my hair before she had to go shampoo someone else's hair. She then finished my foils and told me 20 minutes in the meantime she cut another clients hair so 45 minutes later she came and rinsed my hair applied a toner and set a timer for 15 minutes a half an hour later she returned and rinsed my hair added a conditioning treatment and another 15 minutes this time she arrive as the timer went off. Finished my cut and style which turned out really well although the cut wasn't really what I asked for The salon is a bit run down floor needs patching, needs paint and chairs were well worn - combs and brushes need to be sanitized Nope I won't return it was more of a torture experience rather than a spa experience read more

I had an hour while my car was at nissan and I walked in. They said I would be with an associate, someone who was learning and so it could take up to an hour. It sounded as if the more experienced hair cutter would be supervising so I thot that would work as I've done something similar at Aveda. It did not work- at all . The gal spent an hour, on one spot, just one side of my head. I was getting frustrated thinking "when is the other stylist going to come around?" (she was doing someone else's hair) I tried to be patient but I was not thinking this was going to come together in an hours time. At the end, I expressed to the owner that I was upset that she didnt supervise like I had thot she was going to and it did not seem like this new stylist had any prior cutting experience at all. My hair looked awful,I had to leave and I was going to go out that night.I was embarressed. I left a message for the owner via the website and she did not even call me back. An owner should make every attempt to correct a bad experience and no effort was made. read more

Unfortunately after my experience here tonight I feel the need to rate the salon and to give it one star. I have come to posh 22 a few times over the last two years I've never had a terrible experience usually when I leave my hair looks OK. You get what you pay for here. Tonight I had my hair done by someone who's never done my hair before I'll preface this with the fact that she was very very sweet. A very nice girl. However it was not the person that I booked with online when I got to my actual appointment. And the girl who did my hair while she was very sweet did a very very bad job. I got in the chair at 5 o'clock and I left at 8:55. I do have hair a bit longer than my shoulders so sometimes it can take someone a little while longer if they've never done my hair before. Watching her put the foils in it was very apparent that she didn't know what she was doing, she put a timer on for 30 minutes but never rechecked my foils to see if my hair was lightning and when I got to the bowl she toned my hair and then had to call over two other hairdressers to look at the color that had come out on the top of my head to decide how to fix it. She blow dried my hair again after toning it and burnt my scalp, she re colored my hair and then put me under the dryer and by the time she washed my hair for the second time my head was so painful that it felt like nails when she was washing it. When she was finished I asked her not to do anything else with my hair I told her I didn't want her to put any product in it I didn't want it styled because my head hurts so bad I needed to leave. I wrap my hair up in a ponytail holder that I had brought with and proceeded to exit the salon. They still charged me $115 for the "color" that I received. I will never go back and I will tell other friends of mine in this area when they're looking for hair salons to avoid this place. The owner even came over and made light of the fact that my hair had to be fixed while I was still there I have never had this happen before any other salon and I've been coloring my hair for 15 years. So now I am home, my hair is soaking wet and its three different colors none of which it was supposed to be when I walked into the salon tonight. Once my hair recovers I'll have to go and have it fixed by another salon. I just hope it doesn't fall out. Update- after conditioning my hair, combing it and inspecting my head I have very obvious chemical burns along my scalp. I also have black spots in the top of my hair lines. I have been to Posh 22 for a hair appointment before and my experience was Amazing. I decided to try out their eyelash extensions upon receiving an email about a discount offer and I really wish I hadn't. It was not a good experience and a waste of money. The appointment the itself was bad for numerous reasons they give you a damp hand towel to lay your head on for a pillow which is not only extremely uncomfortable for 2 hours but also made my hair wet. Paying almost $200 for this service and I get a wet towel to lay on? Second, It hurt! This is my first time getting eyelash extensions but everyone I've talked to including other salons after my experience said the process should have been pain free. A little discomfort maybe because someone is touching a sensitive area but there were numerous times I had to say ouch from eyelashes getting glued together then pulled apart that weren't suppose to be. At completion of my appointment when I finally got to see the ending result a group of lashes fell out immediately while I was looking in the mirror all in the corner area of my eye resulting in a "bald" area which is super noticeable and they are uneven. I was told that was normal when I mentioned it as well as them being "clumped together" in spots and bare in others. I still left a nice tip because I'm not one to stiff a fellow service industry professional but I am not pleased with the service itself or my ending result and wish I would have just paid the extra money to go to a salon a friend recommended . I responded to a text survey and rated my service poor and no one from the salon reached out to me so it seems pointless for them to send it out but who knows. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one was because of the awesome job my stylist did on my hair the first time I've went there. read more

Although the stylists are nice and spent a few visits to coordinate the look for my daughters wedding, I was very disappointed on how organized they were. Although they came to our home on the day of the wedding to style the girls hair and to apply make-up....I would not recommend this. They came unprepared with the exact cost for the girls, and the bridesmaids had simply girls, no fancy style and was very expensive. The worst part was the timing, when they started on the mother of the bridge 1/2 hour before they were suppose to leave for the wedding. Made the bride very upset and was a stress that we didn't need before the wedding. They left without taking their check and had the nerve to send an awful text to my daughter during the middle of her wedding day for payment. I saw they had a groupon for Brazilian waxes so I decided to go try a new place to go for my wax every month. I called and they were super easy to get into so I got there and they brought me right back which was perfect. I believe the lady who did my wax was named Jennifer. The entire waxing experience didn't seem any different than others, other than I felt it took a bit longer but it was fine. She was super friendly and talked to me the entire time. I got home and when I went to take a shower I took my underwear off and there was small pieces of wax on the underwear because she left wax all over my skin. Then the next morning I realized how much hair she left. There were about 3 penny sized patches of hair still left on me with other various patches. This is honestly the worst wax I've ever had anywhere and I've been getting a wax every month for other two years. I'd recommend going to European wax center they're amazing and I've never had any issues. read more

I purchased a Groupon for this salon. My daughter, who is a stylist, usually does my hair, but because she works full time, doesn't have a lot of extra time, so I wanted to give her a break. I hadn't had a hair cut for about 4 months, so I was looking forward to just having my hair shaped and a new style. Well, that isn't what happened! First of all, when I booked the appointment, I was told Emily was going to cut my hair. When I arrived, I was told that Autumn was doing it (I didn't know Emily, but I had read her information on their website). The salon was nice, but Autumn gave me a horrible haircut! It is WAY shorter than I asked for - instead of a bob I have a pixie, and a really crooked one at that! She didn't shave my neck well - I still have long strands, my bangs are really crooked, and the cut is just awful. I emailed the salon to ask to have someone call me to see if they would offer me a different service, but after 4 days, I have heard NOTHING! I gave them my cell phone and said to call any time. I will not be returning to this salon EVER, and I plan to give them all the bad reviews that I possibly can! I am not usually nasty, but when I have good service, etc., I'll tell everyone and on the same note, if it's bad, I will tell everyone! read more
