Made a pit stop on my way to get a manicure and pedicure and was completely satisfied with the results. This is what you would consider a hole in the wall joint and they only had three nail technicians but the work they did was 5-star. I came in around 1:200m and only had to wait about 10 minutes before I was serviced. The later it got the more regulars started appearing and the wait time become an hour long. I can see why this place has loyal customers as they are very customer friendly and really fake pride in the work they do. I recommend this place if your not looking for luxury service but quality work. read more

Very small salon with absolutely wonderful ladies. Probably the nicest ones I've ever encountered. Made my experience x10 better. There is nothing worse than walking into a salon and being treated by rude workers. Definitely coming back again for a mani and pedi that I paid only $25 for total! read more

You get what you pay for. I love my nail guy but it's a far drive. I live in Encino and needed a fill but didn't want to pay an arm and leg. So I gave posh nails a shot and I'm sorry I did. They took me 15 min passed my appt time and it would of been ok but it took them 2 hours to do my fill!! T was an excruciating slowwwww experience. My nail tech had her son there and he was such a distraction, she had to go wipe his ass in the middle of my appt. talk about unprofessional. They ended up swapping out nail techs mid appt. and I had a little hope she would be quicker but that hope faded immediately. I payed and left and I noticed the women that was waiting w me was still seating there when I left, why wait ha I have no idea! Don't get me wrong the women were sweet but that doesn't cut it in this business especially as I'm sitting her a week later and almost all my acrylics have chipped or broken. It was a brand new set from when I got them done with my original guy, breaking should of not have happened and it makes me so mad. DON'T GO HERE AND EXPECT YOUR NAILS TO LAST, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!! read more

The extra star is because they're nice. But they have absolutely no idea what they are doing with acrylics. I have my salon I go to and love, but they were busy and my nails were broken so I found this place instead. Kinda irritated I wasted time. I asked for a fill. Which is a universal nail salon word. She drilled off the top layer of acrylic like normal, and then she filled the bed of my nail. She said "you like it?" I was like, um...can you please fill in the rest of my nail? Her: the whole nail? But you said fill. I said: yes, a fill...please fill my whole nail [the one she just prepped with the spooly tool] from top to bottom" her: "but that's a full set" Lady, I get my nails done. I worked in one for 2 years. You can't tell me what a fill is when I know. -_- I was so irritated. She did what I asked finally but in the absolute most sloppy way. I'm not coming back. I've lived in the Valley my entire life, and I never knew about this place until about 2 months ago; and only because I was going to the market. I needed a mani / pedi for a New Years party the following day. I went in at about 11:00am on a Friday. The place is really tiny. There is only 3 manicure stations, and 2 pedicure stations. I was seated at a mani station and they brought out one of the portable pedi bowls. I didn't know any salons still did that. In any case, it didn't bother me. If you want the fancy chair, than I believe you have to ask for a spa pedi, which is a few dollars more. The lady who did my pedi took her time and did a good job. My nails could have been shaped a little better, but since every client is different, that's of no fault to her and I could have requested what I wanted. Kelly than came out and started working on my mani, which I changed to a gel mani. This is the only place I know of so far that only charges $20 / $25 for gel. When Kelly started to put the color gel on, I realized the color isn't exactly what I thought. I felt so bad, but Kelly completely understood and was so nice about starting all over. She's super patient and pays attention to detail. She also does awesome eyebrows! Will definitely be back! read more

I desperately needed a quick pedicure so I dropped in as I was passing by. I picked out a lovely dark color, and waited to be directed to my seat (there were 2 of those big, cushy, massaging chairs with the pedicure spa thingies on them), but to my surprise (since I only wanted a pedicure, no manicure) they directed me to one of the tables and brought out a cheap, plastic pedicure bin (like you'd buy at a drug store). Not sure why. The pedicure itself, however, was very good. The woman really made my feet nice and soft, and she did a beautiful job. I love flowers on my toes, but I'm really not a fan of anything remotely gaudy. Normally, I have to talk the ladies out of the neon pinks and greens and the thirty rhinestones they want to fit on there (seriously??? I specifically asked for only white). When I told this woman, however, that I wanted it simple, she totally got it!! She gave me a pretty white flower with just a couple flourishes and a white rhinestone in the center. Done. Unfortunately, I'd picked such a dark color and she didn't wait at all for it to dry before adding the flower, so the white kind of sank into the blue, but I kind of liked the effect. I was spontaneously in the mood for a pedicure and this place is right next to my house. I called and they had room for me to walk in 10 minutes later on a Saturday. The ladies are all so nice. As far as atmosphere goes, it's small and the spa chairs are VERY worn, which made me feel a little gross about relaxing in them. The pedicure foot bath was on the cool side. I could have been assertive and asked for them to put in warmer water, but oh well. My pedicurist did a thorough job trimming cuticles and never made me feel self conscious about my gross runner's toenails. For a $15 spa pedicure so close to my house, not bad. I prefer TK nails in Studio City however! read more
