I'm literally kicking myself because for over a year I'd drive all the way out to the University Park location, despite this location being 5 min away, just so I didn't have to change waxers because finding your GO TO waxer can be a true task. Pros: My go to waxed is Robin. She's quick, but does a great job with my Brazilian and Underarms and even talks me through breathing techniques when needed. I've also been to Leah and although she isn't my go to she did a great job also! I am typically greeted by Monica when I arrive and she's always so helpful and pleasant to interact with. A VERY BIZARRE ENCOUNTER:…read more I had a consultation yesterday and arrived 10 minutes earlier. When I arrived the owner was sunk down into the seat at her desk which startled me. She told me to come on back into her work area and I immediately noticed how slurred her language was and how she looked as though she might fall over at any time. She asked if I'd filled out a questionnaire and then glanced over it extremely fast. Finally, she told me "looks like you're fairly healthy. You're good." It didn't feel thorough at all. She then started pointing at the diagram to explain the electrolysis process and I could not understand half of the things she was saying. I finally asked her if she was ok and she made a comment that she'd taken a nap. To be honest, it did not look at all like a nap. It looked like she was either sick or had taken drugs or drank too much. She was clearly out of sorts. At one point she sat down and could barely sit upright so she leaned over the electrolysis bed while talking. It felt like I was watching someone in "The Hangover". I have never experienced this at a place of business and felt I needed to write a review because I do not feel it is safe for her to be administering electrolysis while in whatever state she is in. If her words are as slurred as they are, I can only imagine how unsafe her work will be.

I'm a pretty picky and OCD person when it comes to nails. I've been seeing Michelle for over 4…read moreyears. She is by far the best nails tech I have ever met. I usually get pink and white (acrylics or gel) when I go to her and it's always even and each nail is a mirror image of the other hand. She checked them while she works which is a big plus. Now, if you get your nails done as regular as I do, you know how difficult it is to get an appointment at any nail place and mind you we ALL have busy schedules. Well, Michelle works 6 days a week and makes time for me even with my hectic schedule. I will admit there are times when I went elsewhere to get my nails done (out of convenience). I would compare their work on my nails to what Michelle would have done and was always disappointed. I always came back to her. I get compliments from my family, friends and co-workers all the time and am happy to refer them. With the little nails beds I have, she makes them look beautiful, which makes me happy.

This salon is amazing!…read more I visited there for a root, touchup, style, and cut. Originally, I had purchased a Groupon, but when I booked my services, the owner explained that she could provide a better price structure than what Groupon offered. So, she was already providing excellent customer service before I walked in the door. The salon is exceptionally clean, well appointed, parking is easy, and it is easy to find. I was able to book an appointment the next day. Rosy was my colorist and stylist. To say that she is a magician with hair would be an understatement. I have curly hair that can be complicated for some stylists. My color to cover my roots absolutely spot on and flawless with the rest of my hair, and blended beautifully with my natural highlights. Because I have Auburn hair, I have seen some pretty scary results with blindingly. Bright roots look hideous. That was absolutely not the case at this salon. My color is perfect. Rosy was also able to cut my hair with a dry cut. This is always my preference because I want to see what the length will be when my hair is dry. Her cut was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too dramatic, but everything was cut off was necessary. My hair looks the healthiest. It has looked in years. I also included a Brazilian blowout. This is the first time I have done that, and I am incredibly impressed. Rosy explained the process and the maintenance to me, and it looks phenomenal. The salon owner provided me with the deep conditioning treatment to use when I wash my hair in a few days, and reiterated the process and expectations for a Brazilian blowout. When trying a new salon, things can be anxiety producing. That was absolutely not the case at Karizma. The entire experience was wonderful. Rosy is amazing and I will return! I already booked my next appointment.
