Michael is the hair color Guru of Dallas. I've seen him take a hot mess and turn it into a glorious colored and healthy- looking head of hair that compliments the person's skin tone. His hair extensions are top quality hair and are perfectly placed so no one can tell they are there, Ruby is great at cutting. When you ask for her to cut just a little bit, you don't need to worry that you will go out crying because you've lost 4" of hair. Her "little dusting of the ends" is perfect. She also does great eyelash extension. Atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming. Salon is super clean read more

Loved my stylists - friendly had great recommendations. Salon aesthetics nice got me in and out quick!

Ruby works wonders! She is the first person I have gone to who is truly invested in the long term care of your hair, not just making it look good that day, which she always does! I live out of state but come back for her! Thanks Ruby!!!! read more

Ruby does a great job every time. When I ask for a new style or some sort of change, I love that she always explains what she is doing throughout the process and how that will achieve the desired look. read more

If I could give a sixth star, I would!! I never leave this salon disappointed. Chad Demchuk is a hair color WIZARD!! He always knows exactly what I need and perfects the color better than I could have imagined. With balayage I don't need to go in as often as someone with highlights but even in between appointments (when I should definitely be touched up) people are still complimenting my hair color and that's all because of Chad. If you're in need of a new person- look no further! read more

If you care about your hair, you go to Cal for your color. Every professional at this salon is excellent, super friendly, and gracious. They all do great color and styles. I think Cal's color and hair treatments transform ordinary or abused hair into beautiful, naturally healthy, bright, and soft. He's a colorist to the stars and I'm grateful to be his client. He's outrageously good. Chad is also great, and his cuts are SUPER flattering. I get serious compliments on his styles. You will not be disappointed. The salon is super clean and you are socially distanced. Masks are required and available. Everyone works to keep you safe. The new receptionist is responsive and attentive. There are, however, some relaxation-related disappointments. The shampoo chairs are not what you typically find in salons of this caliber. They are uncomfortable and dated. I keep going because the services there are by top-notch professionals, but I miss the Osgood and Fekkai (now Cerón) relaxation chairs, the hair massage shampoos, and spa-like environment. Parking during Covid is also difficult. Valet is coming back and that is a good thing if they use safe practices. Also, it is nice to shop in the store after the service. read more

So let me tell y'all about how awesome Glenn Charles is! He knows his way around some curls. I had my second Devacut with him yesterday. I made the decision a couple of years ago to embrace my curls 24/7 and stop straightening it. I went to Glenn to help rid my hair of some damage a year ago. I came back yesterday to help give my curls further definition and shape. I received so many compliments about how healthy and great my hair looks after leaving the salon yesterday. The cut is worth every single penny. He will show you some techniques to make your curls pop, introduce you to new products, etc. JUST ASK! Bring photos of what you would like your hair to look like and if you're not there yet, for whatever reason, he will help your curls in their journey. No one touches my hair but Glenn! read more

I lucked i out getting Kenn Moore to cut and style my hair. He's great fun to talk to, but he really listened to my hair which sometimes is straight, sometimes wavy, with a curly under layer. He spends all the time he needs to discover to what you'd like to see. He asks questions and makes sure you understand what the daily upkeep is for your look. If he really isn't crazy about your selection, he'll suggest quality adjustments. And then he executes exactly what you talked about, until you're perfectly happy. On top of that he's hysterically fun to talk to, and if you don't feel chatty he just lets you muse in silence. I'm so lucky to have found Kenn. He does updos, too, on short notice. He's also reasonably priced, and flexible about scheduling. read more

Glenn Charles is a great stylist. He listens, takes his time, and actually understands hair texture and curl pattern. My hair is recovering from damage I caused from having left on a chemical straightener too long. Glenn was able to give me a cut that helped my hair have a style instead of looking like a massive, frizzy mushroom that had to be pulled back at all times. I definitely recommend him, whether your hair is barely wavy or very kinky curly. Everyone else at the salon was very nice and attentive. The Michael Flores Salon is big on customer service and making each client feel as if s/he matters. read more

At first I was kinda leery about the Deva Cut, esp spending $100 for a hair cut ...BUT I must admit Glenn was awesome...he TALKED to me about my hair, my regimen, what I'm looking for, etc. He removed the straight stringy ends and made my curls POP. He also recommended a good product for my hair that I liked and even showed me techniques on defining my curls! I love my hair & THANK YOU Glenn... read more

For the past year I've been driving down to Houston to get my hair cut and colored. I recently had a color emergency (salon in Houston did NOT get my color right at all) and began scouring the internet for any curl gods in Dallas. Thankfully I stumbled on Glenn at Michael Flores salon! While I haven't had a cut from him yet, his skill as a colorist is so far unmatched in my book. He sat me down and asked me what it was that I wanted changed and what I liked most about the pictures I showed him. He treated my hair color like a science and made me feel like my curls were the prettiest he'd ever seen. I will definitely be back! read more

I found this salon while looking for someone who was devacurl trained and I found Russell! He is absolutely fantastic. He talked me through everything he was doing, products he was using. I have trust issues when it comes to cutting my hair because of how curly it is and no one ever cuts it right. It's perfect now and I didn't know it could look this nice curly! Thank you! read more

Chad Demchuk has been doing my hair for about a year and I just left the salon again today looking fabulous. It is one thing to have a great colorist but Chad also cuts your hair to fit not only your face but your lifestyle and personality. I can't say enough good things about this salon. It's worth it people, you are worth it. read more

Worst salon in Dallas. Ken lied to me for months scamming thousands upon thousands of dollars out of me, and the manager Jade didn't even care, did not reprimand him once, and just stuck me with another stylist who STILL did my hair wrong, and I STILL had to pay hundreds of dollars to correct it. Furthermore, I have paid for tons of hair that has been lost and ruined by the stylists, to the point that I have barely any extensions in my hair (it looks ridiculous). I called asking to pick up the rest of the hair I have rightfully purchased, as I am fed up and will be going to a better stylist, and not only has the manager avoided me and my concerns, but they lied to me once again and told me they don't have any of the hair I have spend thousands on. This salon is a huge SCAM!!!!!!!! I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to go here. It's a dirty, filthy salon with employees who are equally as nasty. read more

I just got my lashes done by Ruby. She was very nice and professional. She gave me aftercare instructions. She did an amazing job! I've been wearing lashes since 2014, and this is the best that they have ever looked. They are very reasonable priced too. The salon was clean and quiet! I noticed Unite products on the hair stations. I LOVE Unite! I wish I could have had my hair fixed there today. read more

Glenn did an amazing job. This was my first haircut after going natural 3 years ago and he made my curls look better than I've ever seen. He took the time to figure out what I liked, what kind of products I used at home and asked what my goals for my hair were.He did such a good job, that I bought my daughter back. Jessica did an amazing job on her hair as well. My daughter loved her hair cut and her hair looked better than ever. read more

I had the best experience getting my curly hair cut with Angela!! Initially I was nervous as I've NEVER been comfortable with my hair in a curl state, have flatironed forever. She made me feel comfortable from the moment we met. Knowing I was in the hands of someone with such knowledge was a comfort. Looking forward to my new journey and watching how healthy my hair will be moving forward, it feels so good. read more

Overpriced. Traffic sucks. Parking sucks. Haircut service is mediocre. There's way better options out there.

Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience as these other reviews. It started out badly and ended very poorly on the Salon's side. I am not a stylist, but somewhere during my highlight my ends came out very dry and lost all curl around the frame of my face. I kept K-pack deep conditioner (24/7) on my hair for several days and when I returned to another stylist (on my request) they only had time for a consult. I thought they would try and resolve the issue at hand. I did get a full refund but left in tears with my hair a mess. They are located in a very well know retail store so their lack of resolve to correct my damaged hair is beyond me. The good news for me was that I was able to walk into a another salon in the area and they took me in right away! She had to cut off a good 2 inches of my hair and style it. This is what I was hoping for when I returned to Michael Flores thinking it would be resolved. read more

Absolutely love this salon. I moved here almost a year ago from Las Vegas and was a little nervous to find a new hair dresser. However, when I first started coming to Ken he made me feel super comfortable. He listened every single time about what I wanted regarding color. Ken is very professional, and personable which is exactly what you want in a hair stylist. I highly recommend Ken and the entire staff at the Michael Flores salon. read more

I never really saw myself walking into Neiman's for hair color, but when Chad was highly recommended I decided to give it a go. I felt comfortable that I was in good hands from the moment I walked in and was greeted at the reception desk. Chad spent time (and continues to spend time at the beginning of each appointment) to discuss my hair, my likes and dislikes and my wishes before he did or suggested anything. Until the Covid 19 quarantine, I had been dying my what had been almost black hair in my 20s to a an increasingly less startling brown. Chad did a great job minimizing the appearance of root growth, my hair became healthier and he does a great cut and blowout as well. Well... come the quarantine... I have two inches of beautiful silver and black hair on my head and I want MY hair back. Chad is the only person in the world I will trust to take me on this journey. With his expertise in the field of color, I know that I will have an amazing experience and a unique head of hair! To top it off, Chad is fun to be around. I recommend him highly! read more
