Daniela washed my hair and was very warm and friendly. The owner Maha discussed what I wanted for a cut and made some suggestions. She took her time and did a wonderful job. After the cut she gave me a full blowout and then refined the cut dry. Her attention to detail was very good. I came here because I saw good reviews on Google and Yelp but apparently I needed to dig deeper because I got what the other people got. I would say I want my money back, but I'm gonna go with I most definitely will not and will get a snarky comment instead. If you want the aggressive punk rocker early 2000s choppy layered haircut, this is your place. I look like I have two different haircuts now and have already book an appointment elsewhere to fix this botched cut. She will also try to upcharge you sneakily. I scheduled a morning appointment with Maha for a cut with no blow dry or styling. I walked out with a bad feeling. I knew I didn't actually like what I saw so I figured I'd go home, wash my hair, and let it air dry to see the honest results. I rolled up to the salon and everyone was welcoming enough and I got a cappuccino. Got my hair washed in the most uncomfortable sink I've ever been in. It actually hurt my neck. So maybe request a towel under your neck for padding. Then once I got to the hair cut part, I'm not exaggerating when I say it took MAYBE 10 minutes. I asked for a trim and to keep my layers but she took off probably 4 inches and gave me the choppiest layers ever. They're not even blended in. And my "face framing pieces" that are more like curtain bangs now go half way back my head so basically I have to grow them out now and can't do much about that. Since the wash and cut only took about 15 minutes, she asked "Do you want me to blow dry and style so you can see what your hair will look like?" And I said ok because hardly any time had passed and the place was dead. I had a bad gut feeling that she was going to squeeze every penny out of me. When I got to the counter, my $60 haircut I thought I was signing up for was $90. She didn't even ask if I wanted to add it on or warn me she's charging me before starting. That's not what a good business owner does, she should've been more transparent. My issue isn't the price, it's the fact that she wasn't telling the whole truth and knew it. I low key feel like my hair got curled so that I wouldn't walk out of the salon knowing right away that my hair had been botched but it didn't take long for me to realize it since I know how to style my own hair. Maha did an excellent job and I'm extremely happy with her work. She gave me a beautiful cut that doesn't require frequent washing and can easily style in 20 minutes. I have thick wavy hair and Maha accounted for this in the requested length. If you have any kind of curl or wave you know this doesn't always happen. And if your older like me, you may have experienced getting shorter than asked for. Definitely not the case here. The most impressive part: wash, cut, and blow dry in 30 minutes! I went to Posh Salon for the first time yesterday. I met Maha who was a complete delight: She has an amazingly warm personality and makes you feel at home the second you walk in. I came in with mid-long hair and I came out a new man! I love the hair cut and the 30 minutes I spent on her chair were awesome. Maha, Posh's owner, made me love my hair again. Seriously, I've been her client for about a year now and she nails it on every visit. This past Wednesday I visited the new location for a bombré (balayage + ombré), and I had a lovely experience. Off the street parking was really easy to find; I was able to easily locate the salon after walking from my car. The decor is beautiful - hardwood floors and colorful walls give the salon a hip and elegant atmosphere. Her receptionist is really sweet and pretty; she offered me a comfortable place to sit and a beverage while I waited for my appointment. Maha arrived on time - one thing you need to know about her: she has AMAZING blonde mermaid hair! Her hair is the reason I made my first appointment - she is a walking billboard for the business. Anyway, the appointment was great. I got my bombré, cut, and blow out done in about 3 hours. We talked and laughed the whole time, and she made me an amazing cappuccino. Btw: my hair looks freaking amazing! Maha's blowouts are THE BEST - as in, I got my hair done on Wednesday and it's now Friday but I'm still rockin' her bouncy blowout. I've received tons of compliments, and this woman offered me a job because she said I was really pretty ... I'm crediting her for that too. After having my haircut scheduled for the Saturday after quarantine started, and being that it was inevitably canceled, I was in desperate need of a haircut once I heard salons were beginning to open up again. My usual salon was still not open, so I went to Yelp for guidance. Posh Salon was highly rated and the online booking process was very easy. I booked my preferred time (which was actually 2 weeks out from the date I booked, by choice) with no issue and was graciously welcomed upon arrival. The salon at the time was booking one client at a time,so it was me, the stylist,the receptionist, and an A/C repairman. Yes, the A/C was out and it was a very hot day. I was offered a beverage upon arrival which was appreciated. My preferred hairstyle is super simple and never takes long- touch up the layers, take off 1/2-1 inch. I was in and out within 45 minutes. The cost here is what makes me hesitant to give more than 4 stars. $80 is much more than the $45 I typically pay, and; quite honestly, the quality was the same as the $45 cut. I appreciate the ease to book the appointment, and I was ok with paying $80 because I desperately needed a cut, but, honestly, $80 is not something I could afford every 6 weeks so I'll be returning to my regular hairstylist for my next cut. read more

Mary was excellent and thorough. She even used a purple shampoo to help tone out some yellows in my platinum blonde hair. This is a beautiful salon and I had very high expectations for my haircut. It took me a couple of weeks to even write this because I was trying to not be negative. I know it will grow back, but I would say I received the worst haircut I've ever had. The layers don't make any sense and it is just choppy. A long layered chopped bob that I have to try and keep in a tight bun all day. She took less than 10 minutes on my haircut. I left with a wet head because I didn't want to pay the $50 for a blowout. So maybe it's all my fault, but at 40 years old and a prior beauty school student, I know that my layers should at least blend together! The salon really is nice but unfortunately, I won't be returning or recommending Posh salon to anyone in the near future. read more

Maha is amazing! My hair had been bleached mercilessly and damaged so much, and she did a massive color correction and gave it the exact tone that matched my skin color. It's also softer and healthier. She has a ton of experience, and can assess exactly what your hair needs. The previous place also gave me an uneven cut, and she made it 100% perfect. If you are a STYLIST, you should absolutely consider working for her and learning what she knows. She's also a delightful person to talk to and so fun to be around. My haircut looks uneven and choppy, similar to another Yelp reviewer below. I even went back to get it fixed, and it still wasn't even. But the thing that bothers me most is that I showed the stylist a picture of the ombré balayage look I was going for, she said okay she could do it, and I walked out with an uneven, streaky highlight look. I even pointed out to her that one side was lighter than the other, and she said that's just how my hair took the lightener and color. Very upset I spent over $300 here and still walked away unhappy even after a second trip back and looking through the mostly all positive Yelp reviews. Will not be back. I came here twice (I like to come somewhere a couple times before writing a review) and got a haircut both times. I have long hair so it can be tricky to fine a good stylist. The woman who did my hair was blonde and had long hair--I believe she is the owner but I forgot her name. She is very pretty and very skilled at her craft. I think if you're looking for a good cut this is a great place to come. I asked her about extensions and she also does those as well. The haircut was on the higher end of typical pricing which is something I don't mind but others might. The way she styles and kind of curls or uses the round bristle brush to make the ends curve is nice. Leaves you looking great coming out. Kid was getting his hair done when I came in, so they do all ages. Definitely love the decor and interior design as well--very glam. They offer you water and coffee which is nice. In terms of comparison, I would compare this with PR at Partners, which is nice as they give you a scalp massage with your shampoo. That would be cool to see someday in the future if I was to recommend anything, but I feel overall this is a wonderful salon. I would also recommend the ability to take tip on card as that is more inconvenient for me. Most people this day don't carry cash. There is an ATM outside but know this going into the salon. They allow card for payment but only take cash for the tip. The receptionist and shampoo specialist were very courteous and kind as well. The environment is clean which I appreciate too. read more

If you have long, fine curly/wavy hair do not, I repeat, DO NOT go here for a minimalist haircut. I told the stylist Maha that I wanted 1in off and minimal layers for my cut and she proceeds to chop nearly 3 inches off plus lots of layers in the front, which I specifically said not to do! I'm so upset now because it took nearly two years to grow my hair out and it was ruined within a matter of 15 minutes which is about how long she took to actually cut my hair. She kept telling me I would love it and she knew exactly what I wanted and was asking for, and while I will say it looked nice blown out straight, in my wavy/curly style it looks awful and thin. And I knew it would look awful as she was cutting so maybe it's a little bit my fault that I didn't say something or stop her while she was mid-cut, but she had two other clients she was working with while cutting my hair as well and I wanted to give her a chance but man am I paying for it now, literally at $80 a cut and figuratively with this horribly over layered haircut. I noticed that she seemed to be giving the exact same cut and style to the other client in the chair next to me so maybe she's a one trick pony and the cut works for some but not for me and it was not want I wanted. You have been warned if you prefer your hair long and one length/minimally layered, this is not the salon to get a cut! read more
