So happy to have an opportunity to try the cooking class at Posh Pantry! The cooking class I attended was the Flavours of Fall that focuses on comfort food and how to creatively use leftover turkey and ham from thanksgiving feast and use of all our local fall favourites like turnips, squash, carrots, apples, and cranberries. There were a total 4 dishes that were made which included a squash and goat cheese salad, ham and pea soup, turkey pot pie and a cranberry upside down cake. All the dishes was delicious! And they even had some homemade potatoes chips and stuff dates for us to try! You can bring your own drinks to the class. The best part is you just watch the chef cook and demonstrate the recipes! Super friendly chef and host who make you feel like you are at the comfort of a friend's home who is cooking for you! An awesome class to go to after work where you can sit back, watch, listen, learn, wine and dine!

Stocked full of lovely kitchen gadgets as well as having a tasting kitchen. Very nice!

For me, home decorating and organizing is fun, and cooking and baking are fun. So it goes without saying that I ADORE stores like this, that has all the tools - and then some - for cooks and bakers. I was here before Christmastime and, wow, they had SO many awesome gift ideas for people who cook or who like gourmet foods, or special gadgets, or smaller home decor items. I was overwhelmed, to be honest, wandering about like a kid in a huge candy store. So many things that I didn't even know what they were, very niche ingredients and kitchen tools. gorgeous linens, imported foods and specialty ingredients. You'd be hard-pressed to NOT find any kitchen item you are in the market for here. I liked the lay-out of this place, too. Despite it being cavernous inside (it IS a warehouse, after all!), it's laid out in a welcoming way, with various delineated areas, wide-ish aisles, and helpful staff around to ask questions if needed. I also liked that there is a large parking lot here, too (shared with the adjacent No Frills). Bonus! My one caveat: unlike the other folks who've written reviews of this place, I found the prices of items here to be on the high side. Granted, they are were very niche and/or high-end and /or imported and all were of high high quality (big names, well-reputed brands). But pricey. Granted, I visited here at prime shopping season; perhaps they have sales at other times of the year. That said, even with the high prices, I still purchased some gifts that I've not seen elsewhere, and for specialty, unique items, I think it's worth it. Even if you aren't a cook or baker or "foodie", this place is still worth a visit, just to wander and be amazed at what's out there. This is an amazing place. And you never know what you'll discover!

I thought I had died and gone to heaven lol. I bought an epicurean cutting board. Add well. The pictures will show it much better than I can but from now on when I need something kitchen related, I know where I'm going. I also noticed that some of the items were as good quality, if not better than some of the major stores and the price prices were sometimes even less expensive. You can't beat that. I found out they also gave cooking classes there as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. The store was well organized and clean. There is free street parking in front.

While the service and selection is good, the place doesn't get kudos for ambience and layout. Definitely more of a warehouse feel compared to Dunlevvy, but here, prices are good, and wheelin' and dealin' is almost encouraged. Everything you imagine to see in the kitchen of a restaurant, can be found here. Aisles are packed quite close, with handy overhead signs like you would see at a Safeway. After a lot of research, The Dirty Apron stood out as the clear winner. I reached out nearly two months in advance only to find they were fully booked on our one available evening. I moved on and kept searching, but about a week later they contacted me to say they had a cancellation. I jumped on it immediately! From start to finish, the process was seamless. They offered a very wide variety of menu options, which made it easy to find choices that accommodated several dietary restrictions and varying preferences across our group. Communication was straightforward and stress-free. Day of, the location was easy to find and they were completely set up and ready when I arrived a few minutes early. The onsite team, Monica, our servers, and our chef were all outstanding. The structure of the experience was perfect for a team event: the chef would teach us one course, we'd break out to make it together, then sit down and eat what we'd just prepared before heading back to learn the next one. The pacing was spot-on. Our chef was engaging, educational, and fun without being over the top. Throughout the evening and through the next day, my entire team raved about the food quality, the hands-on instruction, and the overall atmosphere. After dessert, none of us wanted to leave, even after four full hours together. For a leadership team that had never done an offsite before, this was the ideal bonding experience. Highly, highly recommend The Dirty Apron for corporate team events. We got lucky with that cancellation, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip to Vancouver!

Once he finished it was our turn to prepare and cook the dish (while being supervised and given tips and guidance while we cooked)and then when we finished we went and sat in the dining room and got to taste our creation.
