Company ordered catering from them for our team bonding event. Food was ok but the service was awesome. We ordered mostly finger foods. None of the food was memorable or wow to me. The catering done by Peake was outstanding! The food itself was delicious. The canapés which were passed were all very prettily presented on their plates or tasting spoons. The charcuterie and cheese platters were very attractively set up... full, and appetizing. Everything was beautifully fresh.      The individuals on your team were all very hard-working! They were courteous and helpful and did a wonderful job. Carolyn stayed very engaged as person in charge. She was cheerful, and responded quickly to our requests. Their general cleanup was impeccable. We greatly appreciated the special efforts taken to ensure that some appealing food selections were available for our guest with the allergies.    In summary, Peake of Catering provided an exceptional experience for us, with our catering needs. Our office had breakfast catered this morning for a meeting and I was impressed. There were fruit and yogurt parfaits with granola, which I devoured in 3 seconds. The fruit skewers had strawberries, pineapple, cantelope, honeydew and watermelon. All the fruit were sweet and perfectly ripe. There were muffins, danishes and bagels. All tasted fresh baked and delicious. The only thing I didn't like was their poppyseed muffin. It tasted a little too bitter for my palette. Here we go..year three at the same event AGAIN EXACT same menu!!! Did not eat the meat but nor did a lot of my meat eating friends....... Corn was not burnt this year but over cooked mush. Cornbread actuaLly cooked- some pieces over cooked. But, it just had a weird nasty flavour. Again ONLY option for vegan or vegetarian was a skewer with zucchini and mushroom. That's it! NO vegetarian entree - in 2022!! The zucchini was actually RAW almost cold. Potatoes had some onion this year and were ok but needed a sauce or something and again.... I normally look forward to making Christmas dinner for family and friends but this year I was tired of cooking everyday and decided to have our meal catered. I cannot tell you how pleased we all were. I was worried there wouldn't be enough, we have left overs, barely, as everyone kept on eating. lol Each part of the dinner was delicious and each had a little twist that made it delightful yet comforting. Fennel stuffing alone would have been enough for me. It was easy with clear heating instructions and no mess to clean up. I highly recommend Peake of Catering. Five stars read more

Our coop is having a mortgage burning party this summer and a lot of the coop members want to splurge and have a catered event rather than a potluck. I sent these guys an e-mail to get a quote on March 16th. I communicated mostly with Kimberly who answered all my questions, who was more than patient in coordinating both menu and numbers. They were also nice enough to make some last minute adjustments even though they were not entitled to (late replies and inconsiderate coop members). The day of they came on time, made a beautiful display and were super nice and polite. They even worked with me for an early clean up. I recently went to a wedding catered by this company. I had heard from the bride that this company would definitely cater to the few guests who have some extensive and severe allergies, so that was definitely a plus. These guests were given special plates (as the meal was buffet-style). I, unfortunately, don't have much else positive to say about the food or service. The food pretty lacklustre. The menu looked gorgeous, but in the end, the food was lukewarm, either very salty or bland, and the bread tasted day old. On top of that, the bartenders simply didn't know how to bartend. When asked if they could make a Long Island Ice Tea, her response was "oh, we could, but we don't have any ice tea". *face palm* Also, she refused to make a caeser for us, insisting her partner do it, because she "didn't want to screw it up". A blessed mistake, because he accidently make the caesar a triple, instead of a double. I'm not very well versed in catering services, this was my first experience with a catered event. That being said, while lacklustre, the bride seemed very pleased about the allergy thing, and she seemed to have done quite a bit of research, so perhaps this place is a good choice for those with allergies. read more

This company delivers beyond belief. The food is phenomenal and quite reasonable. Our large corporation (5000+) has used them and their product. From small department get togethers to large forums. The staff are beyond expectations. They are so professional and diplomatic. They'll set up during a large presentation going on and you wouldn't notice them. And did I mention the food? I recently attended a Bar mitzvah organized by Peake of Catering and I have to say I was very impressed with the quality and selection of their food, as well as their top-notch service. The buffet was amazing, my favourites were the Prime Rib and Wild Sockeye Salmon. The venue was decorated beautifully, I loved the balloons and they even had a candy station for the kids - very cute! Best Kept Secret is....they serve a $5 lunch every weekday. Its a HUGE amount of food and its well worth the cash. For example, today was veggie pasta , side salad w/rasp. vin. and a fruit salad. Other lunches i have had from there are...pasta dishes,Hamburgers, fresh soup and salads,Fett. alfredo..the list goes on and on... You cant even go to the store and buy the stuff to make it yourself for any cheaper. It will sell out fast tho...Get there by noon-ish or earlier. They are all really nice....i haven't got anything from there that i didn't like. read more

I requested a quote for a small family friendly afternoon tea at the church for 70 people for small sandwiches and few appies 2 stand out along with crackers and fruit. We figured that this would be pretty simple and delicious options. I had to trust my instincts that this was not a good fit proposed items were list words and foods I could not even fully understand on both pages 2/ options are not going to appeal 2 family and older people 3/ always a red flag when a business has very few to no pictures to show with the work they have done. We went there to scope it out @ the office on main and felt it was pretty food for taste not actually food. ie a grape wrapped with a piece of salmon, that a finger sized scone with something in it, mint rounds that has a piece of mint on top. Yuck. Watercress, ballatone, crèviche something .. strange and alien food to us. We decided to not choose them because they did not seem family friendly and went with truffles fine food. The menu is more transparent and pricing clear and most importantly u understand what you are buying and getting. They seemed to be able to offer more of what we wanted. read more
