Short Answer: Buy Here, you will be oh-so happy! The Longer…read moreAnswer: Well, read on, dear friends! They say you can get cupcakes virtually anywhere. That is true. HOWEVER, if you want exceptional customer service and off-the-charts quality, you need to dash over to the Simply Sweet Bakery here in Snohomish, WA. Seriously! Here are just a few reasons for my very happy review: o Fabulous taste: I love good cake/cupcakes. I know, I get it. There are people out there who will eat any cupcake, be it dry, smuuschy, even with that frighteningly pretend frosting that could be sold on eBay under "vintage" (not in a good way..._). I am not one of those people. Another note I feel is essential for you to know is that I know my strengths - baking good cupcakes is not one of them. Like good bread, I am happy to wear the crown of "Queen of knowing how to purchase great cakes/cupcakes, and breads". Simply Sweet is now my go-to! The texture of their cupcakes is a combination of that perfect, slightly dense (I think of it as being a yummy "pound cake-y" style, which is my favorite) without being a brick. Somehow they figured out how to make them be substantial without being too heavy or dry, YAY! And the frosting is fantastic! Saying it should practically be a controlled substance is my way of saying "yes, please!" o Gorgeous presentation: These darlings are lovely! Whether you buy the little, mini ones, the regular size, or the monster size ones, they are all gorgeous! AND they come in these boxes that help ensure they actually make it to your event without looking like you decided to make a side trip and visit someone's sketchy trampoline en route. How nice! Oh, and that frosting? It is both delicious and perfectly applied! Who knew that was possible? And, yet, here you go! o A true variety: Just look at their website. Warning: they are all fabulous. o Fair prices: Have you priced gourmet cupcakes? Before you grumble, just remember quality ingredients cost more than the cheap ones. Why? Because THEY TASTE BETTER. That being said, Simply Sweet still has very competitive prices! I checked! o Customer service that gives Nordstrom a run for its money! My darling, adult, special-needs daughter, Sara, is a GIANT Snohomish Panther Volleyball fan! Every year, we try to celebrate these amazing athletes by bringing them a treat. This year, we decided on going with Simply Sweet Bakery! YAY! ...small problem...I needed them ASAP as the season got away from me, and the Panthers were at the very end of their regular season! Yikes! I completely blame myself, but I needed them on a Wednesday, and Simply Sweet is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays...oh dear...50 cupcakes...oh dear...Did I mention this was on a Sunday, after they had closed, when this came to light? Oh dear! I sent an email explaining my plight with no expectations of success... Guess what! Not only did I receive an email response in record time, but THE CUPCAKES WERE READY AND WAITING BY NOON ON THAT WEDNESDAY!!!! They were so beautiful! They were SO TASTY! They were perfect! I could have cried! Simply Sweet did not have to do this. They just did. There is a reason they are such a local gem! They care about their product and their clientele. How cool is that? Needless to say, those amazing Panther Volleyball Players were thrilled, as were we! Must go now, off to purchase a herd of cupcakes for Sara's birthday celebration! Oh, and their online ordering setup is a "cake walk" to use! Buy Here, You Will Thank Me!

This was my first visit to The Creamery in Marysville earlier this Sunday morning (1/11/26)…read more It is located off of State and Grant where there are several other businesses and adjacent to a Safeway and Safeway fuel station. I was able to find parking right out front. There were several people socializing outside and various parties seated inside. There is a large main dining area, as well as, additional seating off to the side from the entrance. Decent natural light, assorted seating configurations, and very clean. Upon entry, one sees the pastry case filled with fresh baked items, including items that are noted as gluten free. I glanced and didn't see anything savory for breakfast during this visit, but selected a giant cherry danish for The Homie. When I arrived at home, I measured the widest diameter, it was seven inches across, which was pretty impressive. There are also spigots for self serve ice cream and frozen yogurt against one wall. There is quite the vast assortment of toppings to customize your frozen treat. I'm sure this place is very crowded during warmer months. I also got a 16oz mocha, no whip, to go. Featured coffee roasts are from Whidbey Coffee. Very welcoming counter person/barista, who crafted a very tasty mocha. This kept me warm later while I waited in line at another business further down State. Great indie cafe destination since 2016. Took me a decade to check out The Creamery. But better late, than never.

Cute and nice Tea Room to go for birthdays!…read more We went here to celebrate my friends birthday since she wanted High Tea and we got the Grand Lady for three of us. When we arrived we got to choose our own special teacup to drink out of. I liked having the option to choose. The Tea Room is all decked out in well decorated spaces to enjoy high tea with a group of friends. Compared to another High tea place I went to it's not as fancy and more casual and more affordable option if you want a lowkey place to enjoy the activity. In the Grand Lady option, we got a sorbet with a savory. The sorbet was watermelon flavored and I really liked it. The savory option was this little bread with cheese? It was alright. We had tiers for our desserts and sandwiches. There was a variety of six different sandwiches and about five different desserts. I really liked the jalapeño jam sandwich, it was different and I also liked the bread pudding. In the middle tier of the desserts there were these big scones and we each chose our topping. I was expecting the topping to be in a ceramic container but it was in a plastic one. Nothing particularly bad about that just something to note! I liked that Attic Secrets actually has a wide variety when it comes to tea options, like the list is long to choose from. I really enjoyed my Summer in Seattle black tea. I would come back again to enjoy a chill high tea experience with my friends!

Heading north, we found ourselves at this charming tea house, where even Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance. They were incredibly kind to the children, taking the time to walk around the tea house and chat with guests, adding a special touch to the experience. From the moment you step inside, the place feels incredibly inviting. I could write a novel about how adorable it is. Each tea room has its own theme--ours was Alice in Wonderland, which was perfect for our 4-year-old companion. Kids are warmly welcomed, and they even have special kid-friendly plates. The food was average, but the tea was the star of the show. We tried several varieties, sharing among our group, which is definitely the way to go if you want to sample a bit of everything. I left with a bag full of tea, and each one is absolutely delicious! I'm puzzled why they have 3.3 stars. Go and see for yourself.

The first few times we came we were really happy with the food and service ,but that seems to be slipping. Last time we came here, our server was not only inattentive but a side dish we ordered arrived at our table so late that we were all already done eating. Husband said thanks, but no thanks. Today I came here with my two kids. The server did not write anything down or use a tablet to take our orders even though we had specific dietary requests for my lactose intolerant kids. In addition, I asked for blueberry pancakes, no whip cream, no compote. I received plain buttermilk pancakes. When I returned them to the waitress for the blueberry ones I ordered, she said she didn't remember me saying that though we had an entire conversation about the stupid compote. Maybe if she'd written it down, she would have remembered! I also heard a neighboring table with the same waitress complaining that she screwed up their drink order. (Brought coffee when he ordered OJ.) Then when it was time to pay the bill, I gave her a pancoin promo code and a gift card. She ran my gift card and returned it to me with no receipt! she verbally told me I had $20 left on my card and I guess I'll have to take her word for it. Had no cash, and without the receipt had no ability to tip, not that she deserved one anyway. But since I'm not a jerk, I would've tipped her anyway, but couldn't because she didn't give me a receipt. We love IHOP (usually), but we won't be coming back to this location if the service continues to be this lousy.

Literally there were 3 families (2 to 3 people) in the restaurant. After 20 minutes (when we were ready to leave) the pancakes came. We asked for the ticket and another 15 minutes the waitress dropped the ticket and never came back. We walked to the register and then asked another employee to ring us up so we could leave and he said he needed to find the waitress. With a bulk of straws in her hands the waitress waddled over to us and rang the ticket - handed us the machine and left!!! I mean she couldn't wait for us to just put our card in the machine or get the tip? We got the manager and she finished processing the check so we could obtain the receipt! I did chat with the manager and let her know this is our last trip to this IHOP. Don't waist your time here.... Not all IHOPs are customer focused.
