There are a lot of food trucks to choose from and so many options but guess we just picked the wrong food truck bc they were rude as hell and you could tell they didn't want to be there and they overcharged us! I was charged 20 dollars and some change for it. Now, I've been out of college for about 15 years and I was not a math major but it seems that I paid a 30% tax for my drink. This place has 10+ foods trucks, all different variety, really cool place. Inside there is a bar and upstairs they have really cool and expensive computer systems for race car gaming, really nice setup. I recommend going early and maybe on a not so hot day because it will be hot, they have large fans but with the weather in Houston it's just too hot tbh. They had a live band on Sunday and they played really good, very nice vibe to this place. I tried out casita colombian food (3/10), fat boy bbq (8/10), twisted grilled cheese (5/10) and the fries from smash burgers and fries were pretty good (7/10). The colombian food just wasn't good to me, the rice was dry, the meat was also dry and it lacked flavor unfortunately. The grilled cheese was cheesy but the bread was too thick for me, I wanted to taste more cheese and instead tasted more bread :/ the bbq Mac and cheese brisket was awesome, had a little too much bbq but honestly really good worth the try! Ooh almost forgot the strawberry cheesecake funnel cake was really good!!! I would definitely go again to try out other foods for sure ! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I so badly wanted to like this place - in fact, my family and I have been anticipating the grand opening, but it incredibly MISSED THE MARK. I will start with the "pros" of this place. Definitely a great concept! Family and Pet friendly. However, that's about it. Nothing more. Nothing less. BAR: The bar had such a long wait time!!! Why? No idea! There was 1, 1 person in front of us. They were not busy whatsoever, yet the wait time to get attended to was ridiculous. The employees should all have roles, obviously. But I guess it isn't. The lady on the register is doing everything else but to take the orders. When my husband and I got in line, there were at least 4 customers behind us and they ALL LEFT! A "we'll be right with you" gesture would have helped but the employees were not even acknowledging the customers. There were a whole bunch of employees with not a designated task behind the bar. We were trying to be more considerate since it's a new place. However, a human etiquette of acknowledgement was not even there. Mind you - its a bar on tap and not even a "bar bar". FOOD TRUCKS: There were at least 13 food trucks when we got there at 1:30pm on a Sunday. Only 2 WERE OPEN!!! At 1:30 pm! We patiently waited for the other food trucks to open - we definitely did put into account that it will take some time to heat up their deep friers, etc. However, before they even opened, a lot of the food trucks were already saying, they are sold out of X,Y,Z from their menu. How?! They have not even been open for 5 minutes! For instance, "Victoriously Made Mee Maw" food truck took 30 minutes to make our order of 1 cheesesteak. 1 cheesesteak! We were the 2nd customer in line and by the time she started taking orders, her deep friers, and other equipments were already heated up. 30 minutes! Im just not sure if the food trucks are ready to take orders for a CROWD of people! None of the food truck's food tasted really good. The ones that were open at least. All mediocre at best! If im being honest, none of the food trucks seemed serious about their business. Most of the food trucks did not have a specific operational hours and when they did open, they were already sold out (How?!) and took an incredible amount of time to serve the customers! MENU: About 90% of the food truck's menu is printed and posted in a white computer paper with a very small font! People are literally crowding in front to take a picture on their camera phone. What a waste of utilization. If you have a line of people, wouldn't it be better to have a size-able font size where your customers can see what they want to order as they wait? **Again, ambiance = really good. You can tell the owner of this place is very intentional about the concept and aesthetic of this place. HOWEVER, they missed the mark on everything else. FOOD + SERVICE + EVERYTHING ELSE = MEDIOCRE AT BEST. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

this is definitely a great addition to the area so that locals have a place to kind of hang out. They can bring the whole family still be able to drink still be able to get a variety of food - it's undeniably unlike anything in this area. It is however overpriced food trucks/ not somewhere I'd go if very hungry. But when you have a taste for something - like me and that funnel bar - you can get it. The playgrounds are nice too if you have littles. VR is available inside it's 15$ for 30mins. 25$ for an hour (I believe ) They charge 18% gratuity automatically on anything order inside by bar and if you walk without closing tab it's 25% . Good to know I think. Aside from that there's always a good amount of trucks and variety. We've tried the loaded potatoe truck- their food should be served warmer/hotter; but good heap of food w flavor As people mention parking is wild but they have expanded it some and if the crowd ever levels out I think it'll be ok The huli huli truck- always a fave ! Showed up yesterday for a bike ride and had a fantastic time! They had a car show going on when we arrive so it was cool to see all of them. They bar was open when we arrive so we got a couple drinks while waiting for the food trucks to open. Which they have a ton of options easily 10+ choices! I was surprised by how clean and tidy the location was. The service was top notch by all the young ladies at the bar and even staff members stopping by the tables checking in on everyone. Toxic Snacks food truck was a HUGE disappointment. My husband ordered cheeses nachos and the cheese was VERY watered down. It tasted like cheese water. It was horrible. My husband went back to the truck and told them and the only thing that was said was that it was the only cheese that was used. There was no customer service from them by offering something to replace it. There were three chips with watery cheese eaten, so it would have been good customer service to offer something else. read more

Porky's Backyard is a really cool place to visit. There are multiple 10-15 various food trucks. I've eaten from the Jerk Chicken truck and the Super Smash Burger truck. I really like the burger food truck! I will definitely return to try other food trucks. Depending on when you go parking lot can be full. Porky's Backyard is in a good area of town and good location. There is a kids park in the back for kids to play. The indoor bar/sitting area is great, with lots of seating. Live music. Adult beverages are pretty decent! read more

2 dinners from Loz Brisket food truck. They only have 3 side items: Fries, mac-n-cheese and Cole Slaw. Brisket plate, mac-n-cheese & slaw Ribs plate, mac-n-cheese & slaw. Even though the food truck advertising shows nicely sliced brisket, they only serve chopped brisket. How can you have a brisket truck and not sell burnt ends or sliced brisket? Anyway, the chopped brisket is good. It has nice smokey flavor and is moist. The mac-n-cheese is really good. The slaw is fresh and has good flavor. The ribs are also good. Smokey flavor, tender. I recommend Loz Brisket. A little pricey, but the food is good. read more

i have a ridiculously bad experience every single time i come to this place. the servers ignore us after we get their attention and ask for service, the bartenders are rude af and so are the servers. I sat down and had to wait 20 minutes to order a drink because the server for that section would literally swerve the other way any time i made eye contact with her(wtf????). I understand being busy, but a simple "i'll be right with you guys just give me a few minutes" would've been enough. when she finally got to our table, i ordered a drink and she asked for my id, im waiting on my physical license to come in the mail so i hand her my old id that had the corner clipped, and the temporary ID i was given at the DMV. she said they could only take those at the managers discretion so we had to wait again for him to come and check it out, he says they can't accept it and blames it on TABC... im certified on TABC and do the course every 2 years so i know that ANY government issued ID is a valid form of identification. so i got ignored, given attitude AND lied to in the short time i was here. After this encounter, the server didn't come back AT ALL and ignored us any time we tried to get her attention, she kept going to the tables right next to us and checking on them but she didn't check on us ONCE after we talked to the manager.Ridiculously bad service and un attentive staff. read more

This is a really nice family-friendly spot to hang out. We came on a very busy Saturday so parking was not ideal for most of our group. I was lucky to find a spot on the lot, but everyone else had to park across the street. It's so dangerous for those with littles crossing a very busy 1960 so I hope the owners come up with a better solution soon, like at least providing parking on the same side of the road? Other than that, the food truck choices are great. The playground is a nice feature. We had to wait for a group to leave to nab a table, but most patrons seem to be fine with sharing a table if there's room. We will def be back to catch a car show soon. read more
