Excellent! Happy Hour 3pm-pm. Frozen Margarita-Maracuyá flavor , Pacifico beer Tortilla soup Chicken quesadilla Tacos al Pastor , Trompo Cucumber Limonada HorchataTacos Dorados

Shrimp tacos were delicious. Shrimp was cooked nicely. The verde sauce was really good. Not too spicy but plenty of flavor. Bar area was nice, a bit away from the main dining. Service was welcoming & timely.

We were in town for a convention and Porfiro's was a short walk from our hotel. The interior has wooden tables and interesting decor. Currently they are waiting for their alcohol license but they will serve drinks customers purchased next door at a small liquor store. We started with the chicken tortilla soup. It is tomato based with avocados slices, shredded chicken, and tortilla strips. The tortilla strips tasted a bit stale but the avocado enhanced the soup. We shared the chicken quesadilla. It was loaded with cheese and chicken. It came served with lettuce, and small amounts of Pico de gallo, and guacamole. The pico was fresh but the guacamole had a refrigerator taste. The service was fast and efficient.

Nothing fancy on the outside. But, the inside is decorated nicely. We were seated immediately and our drink order was taken. Ordered the corn rib appetizer and the California burrito. The corn appetizer was plentiful and full of flavor. The California burrito was HUGE. Large enough to share. Great flavor as well. Great place for lunch or dinner.

Grilled chicken tacos. You can also purchase the cucumber lemonade container if you like.

Good place to grab some quick lunch. Location is covenient- walking distance from Emory hospital. The food had good flavor. Cucumber lemonade was refreshing and not too sweet. Service was good and food came out quickly.

While staying at the Hyatt, my colleagues and I were searching for somewhere nearby to have a quick lunch. Not having been to Atlanta, we relied on Yelp! So glad we did. The place was not crowded. The server was very helpful and gave us her honest to goodness recommendations. It was better to hear her suggestions than reading the menu with diverse offerings. We all tried her recommendations and loved the choices!

House salad with chicken - fun light dressing and tasty

Merely steps away from my hotel, this surprisingly spacious Mexican food place with a bar that can't be used (no liquor license) seemed like a great choice for a change of pace. I had theee tacos, shrimp, chicken, and beef that were good, especially with the house made salsas, and their house salad with chicken. Enjoyable and if you are in need of alcohol, you can grab some bottles next door and they'll give you glasses.

Food was good, but unfortunately my bowl was cold! The staff was super nice and offered to reheat it and a comped dessert, so I appreciate the willingness to fix the issue! The salad and queso were AMAZING. Restaurant did not have a current liquor license so we could not get margs, but they looked good from the photos lol. Restaurant was spacious and has a very nice ambience to it!

Quality/Quantity - Al Pastor Burrito $20 - They were nice enough to make this for us even though it is typically only available for lunch. The flavors were good enough that we did not even need the extra two sauces. Fish Taco - My wife's favorite. Chicken Taco - I felt it was a little dry, but my wife liked it also. Two tacos for $11. Lunch & brunch menus are also available. No happy hour. Atmosphere - Good size restaurant, 7000 sq ft. Seats 140. We were eating West Coast time, 3pm, so we were almost the only customers in the restaurant. Plenty of seating - Booth, table, high top table, bar, etc. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 10pm. Service - Good, we ordered to go. Price - $34. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since August of 2023.

Food was mediocre at best. Had a selection of tacos and none were memorable. Also FYI this is a BYOB establishment.

It came with a cornbread, a buttery biscuit, and banana pudding. I was pleasantly surprised by the other items since the ordering site only listed the entree. Best Shrimp & Grits I've had to date. The shrimp was fresh and not overcooked or rubbery. The grits were smooth. The gravy was well seasoned, but not overly salty or rich. The cornbread and bread or biscuit was good, but not extraordinary. Those were quite dense and heavy paired with the other food. I loved the banana pudding. This meal jumpstarted my banana pudding hyper fixation. Very fragrant and not too thick yet still nice and creamy. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy either. It was a good dessert to round out the meal. I hope to come here again and have an actual sit down experience. Curious to see the ambiance!

I had the Seafood and Sausage Gumbo and a half Po' Boy called Bo Kho, and while both were enjoyable, they're items I could easily make at home. I'd go again if invited but probably wouldn't make a special trip. If you're curious, it's worth checking out for yourself.
