The service here was excellent, checking in regularly and letting us enjoy the nice atmosphere that suited a slightly older crowd. The fries were delicious, the sausage roll was good but a bit greasy.

Goodbye celebration with colleagues as our Operation manager is leaving. Big spacious bar. There is a huge area in the back past the restrooms (maybe for events?). The restrooms were pretty cool too. Lots of drinks here and love the vibe/ambiance here as it had more of a lounge vibe. Music not blasting loud and at a more managed level to allow conversations. More white collar clientele here as you can see more suits and office attire folks here. It was more mellow and we all had a great time. Highly recommend! Abit of a walk from Penn Station and Hudson Yards area but totally worth it. Drinks are delicious.

Visited on a Monday - it was really slow - most of the tables were empty - however the host was very welcoming - had the fries - hot honey chicken sliders - chili all the food was really good. The HH Margarita not so much - the service was good and the restaurant seemed to be really clean -I did like the mood lighting (dark setting)

Great place to come have a cocktail and hang out with friends ... Our waiter was super nice ... he was super helpful.. I will say that the cocktails were good but maybe work on presentation a bit. Overall though definitely loved the vibe ... easy to find. Sundays is HAPPY HOUR

Tried to give this spot another chance, but I'm afraid it's irredeemable. The space is noticeably dirty, the bathrooms are unkempt, and the service is less than subpar. After my last visit and the level of uncleanliness, I was done. Nobody should be dining here.

Fun bar in an otherwise quiet location. The service is very friendly, the food is good, and the drinks are fun! There are a range of board games available. A popular spot for people to have bday parties, so can get busy on weekend nights. Sadly they no longer have their amazing beef jerky on the menu.

Unfortunately this missed the mark for me. The popcorn is extremely salty! There is supposed to be a sweet element which was completely missing. The olives were warm...if that's your thing... The chips were okay.... The punch was basic... The chicken was sub par. Based on the menu descriptions, I was really excited to try more but when these items didn't land, I was tooo nervous to try anything else. Server was great tho and seems like a nice play to hang out. Maybe I'll come back and try other things but I'm definitely hesitant

Wow I thought 11th Avenue was no man's land but you could not tell by the packed crowds at Porchlight. The restaurant is pretty big and the bathrooms are huge too. We had a reservation and were seated in a comfy corner booth. My drink (Rum for Cover) was super strong. I'd go for something less intense next time. My friend had a lighter drink that has passion fruit in it. We shared some light bites - pretzels, corn fritters and pumpkin cookies which were all yummy. We wanted to try the cauliflower dip but they were sold out. There's not a ton of vegetarian options for food - heads up. There's enough options for a vegetarian snack but don't come here starving if you're a vegetarian or you'll be disappointed. I really enjoyed the service. We didn't have a dedicated server, so all servers popped in and out checking on us. Because of this, we never had to wait for water or to place an order. Volume inside the restaurant is pretty loud but I could still talk and hear my friend comfortably. Cool place, I'd come back.

I went on a Sunday and they offer all day happy hour which was a pleasant surprise. The cocktail drinks are limited for the happy hour so for example there were no options with tequila. I didn't have any drinks but my friends all enjoyed theirs. I opted for the food and will say the menu is a bit random. I ordered the firecracker chicken which was good but very spicy. I had to ask for ranch to help with the heat. They also don't serve any fries on their menu. I didn't know what to expect with the collard greens cheese dip but it was actually delicious and part of the happy hour deal. I would probably go back but just for drinks. It is a spacious spot, nicely decorated and dimly lit.

Went for a corporate drinks/dinner event on a Wednesday night. Here are my thoughts: Atmosphere: buzzy, casual Decor: rustic, old market vibe Music: couldn't really hear it, to be honest, but something was playing Food: chicken sliders were tasty. The chicken was a bit on the crunchy side Drinks: jalapeño diablo - so delicious - has the perfect ingredient ratios Service: attentive, fast, and friendly Good for: after work drinks, casual corporate event

On a brisk Saturday evening, the main entrance to the bar was under construction and we were kindly directed to the side entrance by the bouncer. We didn't have a reservation and the hostess told us the tables were reserved but we could grab any available seats at the bar. The interior gave off a rustic southern vibe and the music was not too loud so people could have normal conversations. Drinks: - Penichillen: FYI it's a frozen drink - Love & Murder: refreshing and slightly herbaceous - Napoleon Smash: quite vinegary

We thought mini golf was interactive, everyone had the same chance to play and it's simple enough without exerting too much energy (unlike an escape room or the dancing tiles which I also came across in my research). Great place for friends, families, dates of all ages. We checked in on the ground floor (also have a coat check here) and were told they have a cabin themed course on the 2nd floor and a museum themed course on the 3rd floor, but there was a party going on. They also told us about the rooftop lounge, which is covered with plastic and they have heaters blasting the space. We went with the cabin themed. Although I don't think they completely blocked the 3rd floor with the party, we just didn't want to have to compete with others and wanted a quiet experience. They have stairs or an elevator. Once we got to the 2nd floor, we were the only ones there and were explained how the digital scoring works. We inputted our names, and our scoreboard would follow us from board to board in sequence after we all punched in our scores. The max was 6 putts per course to help keep things moving (we definitely played more than 6 on some courses lol). The courses did progressively get more challenging as you moved on. The decor was beautiful. Fairy lights lined the space with murals or a ski lodge/mountains around with a polar bear and a ski mobile. Many cute photo ops. On the last course, once you made it, the game swallowed your ball, I guess to help prevent you from trying to play the course again. I wish there was more than 9 courses though. It was fun enough but maybe having a few more would have helped fill the time more. Time flew by and we had lots of laughs. Would be excited to come back to try the museum course next time.

I booked a social package that included 90 minutes of reserved seating, one round of mini golf, and a $25 food or drink voucher per person. When we arrived, we were given tickets for mini golf, but the staff seemed unsure about how the food and drink vouchers worked. After some back-and-forth, we learned the vouchers could only be used on the second floor, and if used for drinks, there was only one option available -- a blue rum drink with coconut. Unfortunately, the drink missed the mark for me and my friends, and the recipe could definitely use some improvement. We were also never shown where our reserved seating was, which was disappointing. That said, I had an amazing group of friends, and we still made the night a lot of fun. We played the Lodge course on the second floor, which is their most challenging course and beautifully decorated. I also loved the tablet that kept score for us -- it was a great touch. The rooftop area is another highlight: it's heated and really enjoyable during the winter. Overall, while the atmosphere and mini golf were fun, I wouldn't book a party package again -- it wasn't worth the cost. Next time, I'd just pay for mini golf directly.

Equally bomb! Perfect combo if you're drinking. You just HAVE to get a Sapporo when you're at a Japanese spot. I ended the meal with the café cocktail which I normally wouldn't order without milk... but this one? Sweet, delicious, and totally didn't need it. It was so good! Now the DJ... not jazz, not chill vibes, not whatever TikTok led me to expect. Nope. Full-on techno/trip hop/drum & bass mashup that was so loud I had to yell at my husband across the table, "HOW'S YOUR BURGER?!" And the bouncer out front - bless him, but communication skills = 0. He asked if we had a reservation, then gestured for IDs with his hands which my husband understood as whip out your reservation... after my husband is fumbling with his phone and showing the bouncer our reservation, the bouncer THEN clarified, and I felt like I was in some annoying game of charades. As an older born and raised New Yorker, the tough guy bouncer act is TIRED! We've seen it. Move on. Other than that? Food amazing. Service with our waitresses was amazing. And the decor was fire with the vinyls on the wall. Would I go back? Maybe. Especially if next time they swap the techno for some Japanese jazz so I can actually hear my husband without yelling.
