Goodbye celebration with colleagues as our Operation manager is leaving. Big spacious bar. There is a huge area in the back past the restrooms (maybe for events?). The restrooms were pretty cool too. Lots of drinks here and love the vibe/ambiance here as it had more of a lounge vibe. Music not blasting loud and at a more managed level to allow conversations. Fun bar in an otherwise quiet location. The service is very friendly, the food is good, and the drinks are fun! There are a range of board games available. A popular spot for people to have bday parties, so can get busy on weekend nights. Sadly they no longer have their amazing beef jerky on the menu. read more

Wow I thought 11th Avenue was no man's land but you could not tell by the packed crowds at Porchlight. The restaurant is pretty big and the bathrooms are huge too. We had a reservation and were seated in a comfy corner booth. My drink (Rum for Cover) was super strong. I'd go for something less intense next time. My friend had a lighter drink that has passion fruit in it. We shared some light bites - pretzels, corn fritters and pumpkin cookies which were all yummy. We wanted to try the cauliflower dip but they were sold out. There's not a ton of vegetarian options for food - heads up. There's enough options for a vegetarian snack but don't come here starving if you're a vegetarian or you'll be disappointed. I really enjoyed the service. We didn't have a dedicated server, so all servers popped in and out checking on us. Because of this, we never had to wait for water or to place an order. Volume inside the restaurant is pretty loud but I could still talk and hear my friend comfortably. Cool place, I'd come back. read more

We've come for open bar before with a big group and it was solid. This past time was extremely mediocre. Service was slow. I get we bring a lot of people for open bar things are going to be slow, but I'd expect them to be staffed to be able to serve at least 5 rounds in 2 hours. We never received our fourth round and there was a lot of waiting around. Server excused the wait by saying that we had a big group and the bartender was swamped but this was planned in advance and the restaurant honestly was not too packed. Manag should have staffed accordingly. Our total per drink for open bar was 24 per person, well beyond normal prices. I'd be surprised if we end up back there again. Birthday girl was not happy. Came here on a Tuesday for a 6:15 reservation and while there was a large corporate group in the space next to us for a happy hour, we ordered our drinks at 6:20 and didn't get them till 6:45.
