History
Established in 1973.
Porcelanosa was established in 1973 by three families, who aimed to produce high-quality ceramic tiles. The company's initial focus was on producing porcelain tiles, which were more durable and versatile compared to traditional ceramics. Throughout the 1980s, Porcelanosa expanded its product range to include other products, such as bathroom fixtures and kitchen furniture. The company established its presence in international markets, including the United States, where it quickly gained recognition for its quality and design. Porcelanosa diversified further by creating a group of eight companies under the Porcelanosa Grupo umbrella. These companies specialize in different areas of home design, including ceramic tiles, kitchen and bathroom furniture, and natural materials such as wood and mosaics. Today, Porcelanosa is one of the leading global brands in the ceramics and home improvement industry, known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and design.
