You need to drop everything and go to this bagel place! These are by far the best bagels in town. They have a very simple menu: plain, salt, poppyseed, and everything. We tried the poppyseed, everything, and the salt. Needless to say we could not eat them fast enough. They are served hot and they are not sliced, so be prepared. They are just chewy on the outside with the right amount of crispiness. And the inside is soft and so flavorful. There is also only plain or scallion cream cheese. We've only tried the scallion and it was delicious! Remember they close early.. around 3pm I believe. And be prepared for a long wait on weekend mornings, but they do call ahead ordering. 12/10. Hands down the best bagel and spread I've ever had...and I'm not a huge foodie! Their plain bagel is nothing but plain and paired with their chive spread is amazing! I was a fan of their cinnamon butter spread and will be sad when that specialty flavor leaves. The store is very small and not a place you eat at. The intimate, artsy area near the order counter emphasized a smiling young lady who encouraged me to take home an extra flavor of strawberty schmear in order to try as many flavors as possible, along with the scallions version that I thought my husband would select and 2 each of 3 bagel possibilities: poppy seed, sesame seed, and everything. Since we typically avoid salt, I ignored getting that flavor and the plain. Nevertheless, the generous young lady added another bagel. Though there are only 5 choices, possibilities change on Thursdays, and it's easy enough to call in to find out what they are. They offer both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages for sale. While I was there, the baker removed her efforts from the oven and delivered more heavenly fragrant, hot bagels to the display table, shouting about their presence. Really delicious warm bagels that are too easy to eat. Haven't tried them all yet, but loved how soft the everything was. The sesame had a nice chew to it too. The scallion schmear was the right choice for me and what they recommended. They had specialty schmears too on rotation, but I wasn't feeling adventurous this afternoon. Ordering was quick and easy. I received my bagels within a minute or two. I saw they have a window outside to pick up online orders as well. Inside is small and very much a grab and go establishment. No tables or chairs. I did a little research and the concept is grip the bagel, rip it, and then dip it into your cream cheese. There is no slicing your bagels. This company was literally started as a pop-up bagel in the backyard. The storefront is small not that they need a big space as I feel like it's the right size for what they are offering. There's a couple of tables at the storefront stand up tables. There's some parking spaces in the front of the store but if you drive to the back, there's even more parking space. The parking lot and the outside of the building is crisp and clean. The inside is small, but perfect for what they are offering. Quick service, someone greet you immediately. they have some cute funky neon colors with signs that say grip it rip it dip it, perfect as this is their motto. They have merchandise for sale which I absolutely love their hat not famous but known (classic)!! The best part.....the BAGELS!! The choices in your bagels are salt, sesame, plain, poppy, and everything! I went straight for the everything give me it all. Pop-up bagel prides themselves on fresh bagels, meaning they make small batches of bagels, but more frequently so you are getting hot fresh out of the oven bagels, So true and thorough to their concept. Your bagels come in three choices, you can get a three pack, a six pack or 12 pack. Also known for their creative Schmears. My choice was scallion Schmear. The bagels are crispy on the outside and inside is so soft and fresh. The everything bagel had so much of the seeds on the outside that even when someone falls off, your bagel still has enough so you're always getting that good flavor. This is my go to for bagels! 10/10 Bagels!! I was greeted with big smiles and lots of hellos and welcomes!! The staff is very friendly, showed me around a bit and talked me through the menu. They have a MINIMUM of 3 bagels which surprised me to be honest. It's nice to walk in somewhere and get a bagel with cream cheese and go about your day but just know here the minimum is 3 bagels. I went with 6 salt bagels and their famous Scallion Cream Cheese Shmear which was delicious. I brought a couple extras to the office and everyone LOVED THEM!! I think I definitely earned a couple brownies points with my boss for sharing some. Will definitely be back to try more flavors. These guys have some of the best bagels I've had in Orlando. I stopped by last Friday and the place was packed! Despite the busy rush, I was greeted by a very friendly young lady who took her time answering all my questions about the menu and different toppings. I really appreciated the attentive service even with the chaotic (but good) energy in there. It's a bit loud, but nothing extreme. I ordered four everything bagels and two plain bagels. They came out fresh, hot, and smelling amazing....crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside, exactly how I like a great bagel. I also got the scallion schmear and a plain one. These bagels are great to tear and share! They come HOT and fluffy and gooey and uncut, so the pro move is to tear off a chunk and dip it in your schmear of choice. Service was fast, despite the bagels being clearly fresh I also received them by the time I finished checking out. We got an extra order of schmear and for six bagels we had plentyyy leftover. I'm sure some people would find this to be the right amount, but I wish they sold smaller containers so we could try several without being wasteful. Went for the grand opening today. Line took about 25-30 minutes. Wish there were fans or tents since it is so hot outside but I get it. They were handing out free tea but I kind of wish it was waters just because of the heat specifically. Looks like they were handing out free hats but I think we missed when they did that unfortunately. They had a DJ outside along with a balloon arch. Typical opening day, corporate on the side chilling and photographer/videographer taking some shots. Police there to make sure everything was safe. Parking was a nightmare though. Recommend driving with someone and having them drop you off while they go find a spot. We ended up having to park a few blocks away. Ok now to the actual bagels. Kind of annoying you have to buy at least 3 of them but you get one schmear that comes with it which is nice. The bagels are on the smaller side but super tall in height and very fluffy. They are not cut in half and not toasted but came out very hot and tasty. Their whole thing is rip and dip. We got the everything, plain, and salted. My favorite was the salted it was very nice flaky salt that didn't really fall off of it which was nice! The schmear options we got were the specialty chocolate chip banana bread that was for the opening today, the Elote cream cheese and the grillos pickle butter. They were so fluffy like a whipped cream cheese very light and packed with flavor. We put the spreads on heavy and were left with half of banana, elote gone, and half of butter after three bagels. Pricing is rough though. It's basically double the price of Jeff's bagels. 6 pack at Jeff's (bigger but shorter bagels) are $11 and their tub of spread is $8 (Jeff's tub is also larger) but a 6 pack here (with spread tub) is $22. Would come here again for specialty spreads but everyday wise I'm still hitting up Jeff's since it's way cheaper and like x5 many more options in flavors. read more

Since we were literally driving past the new PopUp Bagel location in Winter Park, we decided to "pop" in. It was a weekend afternoon, and there was no line and just a few cars in the parking lot. FYI, the lot is very small and can probably hold only a handful of cars but it looks like there is a lot behind the location as well. There is a window outside for online pick up orders so you don't have to go inside if you have ordered online. There is also no seating inside, just a few tables outside the entrance. The inside is also small, just a small waiting area, some merchandise, and the counter to order from. There are only 5 flavors of bagels currently available: plain, salt, sesame, poppy and everything. I'm not sure if they will eventually do some seasonal flavors as well? When we went, there were 6 "schmears" available as well: plain cream cheese, scallion cream cheese, salted butter, and then some special flavors of oishii berry cream cheese and cacio e pepe butter, plus Monty's dairy free vegan cream cheese (for an upcharge). To order, you choose either a 3-pack and a schmear ($14), a 6-pack and a schmear ($22), or a 12-pack and 2 schmears ($44). It doesn't look like you can just order one bagel, only the multipacks, and any extra schmears are $7 a tub. I ordered a plain, a sesame seed, and an everything for the bagels and decided to get the cacio e pepe butter (parmesan cheese and black pepper). The bagels are smaller than I expected but they were warm and were completely loaded with toppings. We waited until we got home to try them, so the bagels had cooled down a bit. PopUp Bagel said to "Grip, Rip & Dip" your bagel instead of slicing it and spreading on the schmear so I tried that. The plain bagel was fine, chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. The problem was the cacio e pepe butter - I'm not sure what was in it but it was still pretty hard, not soft and creamy, so I needed to use a knife to spread the butter on my ripped piece of bagel. It had a good flavor though. Then I tried the sesame and everything bagels in the same way. Listen, I don't know how you are supposed to rip those without getting toppings literally everywhere. I was still finding sesame seeds on my counter later that day. They tasted fine but they were just too messy for me so I would probably stick with the plain bagels. Plus, with the plain I was better able to get the flavor of the specialty butter. Afterwards, I still had a LOT of butter left over. I wish there were smaller schmears so that you could try different flavors at once. All in all, it was a fun snack, but at the prices, I'd probably only go if I happened to be in the area. read more

The staff is so fun and helpful, and the small shop is super cute inside. While the parking lot is pretty small, they more than make up for it in being super fast and delicious. I can't imagine many people have to wait long to get a spot, I was in and out in less than six minutes and that included waiting for fresh everything bagels. I've always been a cream cheese person when it comes to bagels but I got the cacao e pepe whipped butter and it paired perfectly with these bagels. Parking is extremely limited but nearby parking is available. Inside has a couple registers and is mainly made up of the kitchen. Not really any seating inside for eating but there are a couple outside. I tried one of each bagel (plain, garlic, salt, sesame, and everything) with the weekly special cacio e pepe butter. Soo good. Bagels were warm and chewy. What an awesome hidden gem nestled on a busy road! I'm so thrilled to have been introduced to this bagel joint! The smell of fresh bagel when you walk in was absolutely wonderful and the hospitality from the staff both up front and back was warm and welcoming. I loved all the suggestions! I ended up with a bag of salted & everything bagels because they are my favorite go to flavors! I opted for the Caio de Pepe butter because as per recommendation of the staff, that butter is amazing on EVERYTHING. Including pasta! I must say. It's finally open! All the anticipation and it was worth the wait. My biggest complaint is that the Grillo's Pickle butter is limited edition because I am going to want that EVERY TIME. Its so good. There are actual chucks of pickle in the butter and I was in pickle heaven. The spot does not have that much parking space but they are very quick to get your order to you and there is very limited seating if you want to eat it there. I would suggest this be a grab and go situation for bagels. There are 5 flavors: plain, salt, poppyseed, sesame seed and everything. We were so pleasantly surprised they were still nice and hot! My favorite was the salt. They are fluffy and delicious. My 10 year old son's favorite was the everything bagel. I went to throw the bag away when they were all gone and he wouldn't let me until he got all the crumbs out of the bottom of the bag. The boy ate every last CRUMB! I heard about the Grand Opening and got there just in time for the ribbon cutting. I was handed some confetti streamers to throw when the ribbon was cut! The line went quickly and the choices were 3 bagels, or 6 bagels. It was a bit steep in price at about $14 and change for three bagels and a schmear. They don't come cut, and the knife they gave you was bamboo. I keep tools in my car since I work in pastry, so that saved me! The chew of the bagel was great, and the flavor spot on. They did appear a bit small to me. I was given a free tea as I was in line, which was so nice. And the mascot for the Solar Bears was handing out tee shirts, so I got one! The Chocolate Chip Banana Bread dip and Elote Cream cheese was gone by the time I got to the front of the line. But scallion and plain was still available. I got super lucky with parking, as they had a spot in the back just in time. But I can see it being difficult to park. It was a fun and festive time! The staff was super nice in spite of it being a stressful time. I will go back and try the other schmears another time. I have only been to Einstein's for bagels so that's my only comparison. Bagels weren't as large as Jeff's but they also weren't trash like Jeff's so if a smaller bagel equals a significantly better quality product then I'm here for it. Main issue I have with most bagel places, to be frank primarily Jeff's bagels, is a serious lack of or no interest in quality control.
