I politely brought it to the attention of a young staff member, who insisted it was fresh and actually told me I was the only customer who had ever complained about it. That response alone was disappointing, but what made it worse was asking to speak with the owner -- who refused to come speak with me directly. As a returning customer, that level of dismissiveness was genuinely disrespectful. I understand off days happen, but how you handle a concern says everything about your business.
