This is always been a five-star establishment. Yeah until now. And it wasn't for service which is always been exceptional! The people working here are top-notch! No I'm going from a five-star to a three because of the sudden disgusting increase in pricing. And yeah you can't blame COVID cuz yeah that was 6 years ago and that story is getting old. So what is it? Why did I just spend $10.27 for a tuna salad sandwich on a toasted hard roll with lettuce and a medium hot tea with just sugar? How disgusting is that? Now I know that just coming to an establishment like this shows that you have disposable income but come on now.... Does the owner of this establishment of this chain really need to financially rape their customers to get ahead? So maybe it's time for a boycott of this place. Maybe it's time to send a message to the owner that you can be replaced. read more

Awesome food here. First time here and I'm happy I picked this place to stop for a quick bite to eat while in Stamford. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and a cold brew Carmel iced coffee. Everything was delicious. Sandwich had crunchy bacon and a lot of it. It did not disappoint at all. Will definitely visit this restaurant if in the area again. read more

There are some great positives to this Donut Delight location in Norwalk, CT. First, its easy to access off the main street and enjoy that it has a drive through. The prices are cheaper than most local shops for the coffee and they have a variety of donut / pastry options that are decent for an on-the-go-grab. Parking is generally easy to find in the large lot and the service is very quick. There is limited seating so its not the best area to meet up with others or sit down easily especially if its on the busier side. The few times that I have went in the floors, tables and setup has been messy and lacked cleaning up consistently. read more

We stoped in to get a sugar high on our long drive. Nice choices and all was fresh. We would return.

Picked up a dozen donuts for our monthly office meeting. Asked for a dozen assorted donuts and coffee. First, when you order a dozen, they still give you a bakers dozen 13 donuts. Next, these donuts are not crazy flavored, they are the flavors you grew up with and they are delicious! There's a moist creamy flavor to these donuts, you need to try them. read more

I was not delighted at these donuts. We did the drive through and the service was fine. They were all out of double chocolate doughnuts, how the fuck do you run out of your best donut and you're open 24/7? I ordered: Boston cream, chocolate glazed, and a glazed cruller. What I got: an eclair (with barely any filling) and it all went downhill from there. I then tried the cruller, disappointing texture not at all a classic cruller shape the flavor wasn't bad but nothing special. Then I had the glazed chocolate donut that was just okay. Overall, would not return for the donuts here, but their menu is extensive and their prices are affordable. read more

I stopped in here today right around noon while passing thru. I had not been in years. I was shocked at how bad the service was! The server let me stand there and ignored me for minutes. Finally, I approached the counter to ask permission to order. He could not understand me in English nor in Spanish. He could not even repeat back what I said in either language. After I finally got my order in, he couldn't count the change. That became a struggle. Then, he handed me a bag and I made the mistake of leaving the counter without looking inside. Of course, it had the wrong donuts. I had to claw my way back to the counter and fight to get his attention a second time. Then, I had to try to explain that he got it wrong and tell him what I ordered yet again. It was such a bad experience that I would never stop here again. Such a shame! read more

Hi i just want to let the owners know as a repeating customer ive noticed an elderly women with short hair being very rude and disrespectful often talking about customer and being outright nasty to employees I'm disappointed and frustrated at this and hope that something is done about this for example a retraining or a warning to this women in the morning shift who works in in the front read more

Double egg double bacon on a toasted croissant. With apple juice a large coffee and a doughnut. My breakfast several days a week from DONUT DELIGHT on Connecticut Avenue Norwalk This place is good! The coffee is strong but not at all bitter. You can get significant bonuses -on what is already well priced food and beverage- for loading a gift card Don't let a long line of cars discourage you. Donut Delight - a person holding a sandwich in their hand - Donuts Near Me - Norwalk, Connecticut

Anyone who reads my reviews will understand that I have a serious adoration for donuts. An adoration so deep that I am extremely picky when it comes to donuts. I despise gourmet donut shops and fear the day they will be my only option. Nobody can complain about a donut that is under $1.50 because some gourmet shops sell donuts for $4.00!!! FOUR whole dollars, people!!! So...when I come across a genuine donut shop with cheap donuts, I can't help but smile a devious smile because I feel as if I am scamming the owners. This is how I felt here. You're really going to let me buy this donut for about $1.00??? I am going to eat a piece of fried happiness for $1.00??? Muahaha I have won again. Anyway...in all seriousness, these donuts are good and they are how donuts should be. Keep your maple bacon Cinnamon Toast Crunch hipster peanut butter and jelly Oreo donut away from me. Just give me a basic and real donut. My top choice is definitely the double chocolate donut. Dense, moist, drenched in glaze, drenched in chocolate frosting. A chocolate lover's dream. Aka, my dream. read more

I used to frequent this one when I lived the area a couple of towns over (commuted down near here...); stopped in the other day while I was traveling through to Westchester. It's a local (Stamford and Norwalk) chain that does the trick if you crave some carbolicious fat bombs. The glazed are good as are the Bavarian Creme...and unlike the Dunkin chain these are not pre-frozen to be warmed up at the store. Fresh counts...and on that note the coffee is good too. There are some darned good muffins too if the donut thing isn't your bag. As far as this locale...keep an eye for it...a little tough to see amidst a heavy swath of commercial stuff on Route 1. It's down towards the Darien side of town...if you are staying at the Doubletree nearby its a good place to stop in... read more

UPDATE: To the team of donut delight, please stay consist of with my order. When I am paying for extra cream cheese on a bagel, please put in extra cream cheese. I hate driving to work and realizing that this is not my order. Also, there have been a few times where I wanted a raisin bagel toasted with extra cream cheese and it was neither toasted, nor with extra cream cheese. My receipt states extra cream cheese and I've paid for it. (May I add, when I go to a bagel/breakfast sandwich place, I never have to ask for extra cream cheese. They load up the bagel with it. That's how bagels are supposed to come.) I hope you understand! I want to keep coming here. Sorry guys but I had to update my review. The donuts aren't fresh anymore. The coffee has no flavor. Lots of small mistakes. Like not adding extra cream cheese when I pay for it. Or putting hazelnut in my coffee and charging me when I never ordered that I used to order light and sweet iced coffee with a shot of espresso, it was delicious and now it's completely disgusting. Hope this can change and get back to the way it used to! Sorry guys, I love you but bring back the good donuts and coffee. read more

Donut Delight - Drive-thru menu - Donuts Near Me - Norwalk, Connecticut

I love this location. Very, very friendly staff. I especially love Jessica she is amazing. She isn't always there, but when she is, she is on point and there to make you feel special and valued every step of the way. They have a big parking lot (shared with bowling alley). They are open 24 hours a day. They have one of the best blueberry muffin's I've ever tasted and also have tons of options on their menu from Chai teas to Cold brew coffees and cream cheese bagels or chorizo egg and cheese sandwiches. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they don't have different cheese options. (eg. yellow american, cheddar, pepper jack) and around 4am or 5am pastries are usually unavailable for a short period of time. read more

very rude afternoon shift , and having long conversations at drive thru Not being attentive to the costumers.

We came here last weekend and waited in a long line of cars for the drive through. The lobby is currently closed. That made it a bit difficult to select a donut. I'm so happy that Donut Delight has a location in Norwalk. Every time I order via drive thru, my experience is positive. I get exactly what I ordered, the staff is friendly and everything tastes great. The best part is that when I order a bagel from drive thru, they are happy to toast it for me EVERY time. The Stamford Donut Delight would always refuse to toast my bagel lol, even when there were no cars behind me... Norwalk Donut Delight is much more customer-oriented and accommodating. Really, the staff is terrific. Keep up the great work! read more

What an absolute joke of a establishment that sells bagels. Donut delight, while not having high hopes for ordering a bagel, absolutely met my low expectations. The main issue was the use of the Philadelphia cream cheese cups for the cream cheese on the toasted bagel with regular cream cheese. Management should address the issue as soon as possible. I'm not sure if the vendor relationships but I question the economics for purchasing cream cheese cups. This gives CT a bad reputation with bagels. read more

Right by the Double Tree, I went here for breakfast instead of getting overpriced and mediocre breakfast at the hotel. Entering in the shop, it reminded me of a less franchised version of Dunkin Donuts. I ordered a coffee roll and a everything bagel. To my surprise, the coffee roll was fluffy with a yeast-like bite. I fairly enjoyed it, especially with a large cup of hot black coffee. The roll was pretty enormous and only cost around $1.50! I didn't eat the everything bagel until the next morning and it still tasted good. I had many great bagels in NYC and I have to say, Donut Delight might not be better, but it surely didn't disappoint. Overall, I was highly impressed with the quality of the carbs here. I would definitely recommend others to visit, especially if you are need a morning boast! read more

I love this donut delight! I would be here every day for lunch when I worked at Staples. That little walk down the hill was the highlight of my day! Their chicken salad is literally everything! They make chicken salad sandwiches like no other! They dont just throw some spread on a bagel they add cheese, onions, tomatos, peppers! It is really a good meal and i think it is only around 4 dollars. They also have banging peppermint mocha lattes in the winter time! The service is always good there, however their regular coffees are pretty generic. I wish they would add that little something extra. On the other hand though their rainbow sprinkle donuts are my fav! You will never get a mediocre baby donut with like 6 sprinkles on it from them. That donut will be beyond loaded with shots! Love that :) read more

Tried this new place because it's near my house and the line in drive thru was short - but once I got my stuff, I realized why it was short. I got a bagel and an iced coffee which cost me about $6.50. The sign said $3.50. Then they told me it was with hot coffee only. Then I asked to get a iced coffee and the young man gave me the "i'm going to spit in your coffee look" -but luckily he made it right in front of me. Anyways - what a rip off. I'll stay with dunkin donuts who don't charge so much extra for ICE. RIP OFF. but regardless - the coffee was good. Just don't know if I'm bias now because I felt ripped off. read more

It's....okay. I stopped by to get a donut and coffee since I kept passing it, and I can't say that I'm the biggest fan. Nothing really stands out. The coffee was mediocre, though better than Dunkin. The donuts were larger and more heartier that Dunkin, but not something that I would go out of my way for. In the end, it's nicer than Dunkin, which is a great if you're around the area. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop by here. read more

Being from a place that only had two name brand options for drive thru, I immediately loved Donut Delight. I come to the area a few times a year and always get a breakfast sandwich and coffee here. While the wait is a little longer than the name brands I mentioned earlier, my experience has been quick and easy. I high recommend their cold brew coffee and their different flavors of cream cheese. The bagels and donuts look and taste fresh. It's everything you'd want in a local coffee shop and drive thru that does it right. Wish you'd come to the rest of the state!!! read more
