Wood paneling, old hard chairs and a tiny dining room with a small counter with barstools. Met a coworker here for breakfast before work, and we had a nice breakfast. Did the classic two eggs over way, rye toast, bacon and home fries. All of it was perfectly done diner style. On the way out we threw in a couple half dozen donuts.. all of which were delicious yet light yeast donuts that tasted like they were made fresh daily. While we were eating breakfast there was a constant separate line out the door for the donut counter. I'd eat here more if I lived in the area. Nice job team Speedy! First time eating here about a month ago, I live 2 mins away and would always pass it but never stopped in, would usually go to Dunkin Donuts on CT.Ave. Ordered a breakfast sandwich , right off the bat you can tell it is not artificial tasting as Dunkin Donuts and tastes a lot fresher. I sat down and enjoyed my sandwich and beverage, one of the reasons they get 4-stars is because they had what seemed like plenty of indoor seating, but 2 older gentleman each sat at a different booth with a cup of coffee and the newspaper taking up 4 seats, none of the staff said any thing but a lot of customers had been left standing with no-seating, they should re-design it with more booths maybe? But the food was good and so were the drinks. Will be coming back, the drive-thru is also 24/7 which I never knew, till I was going to New York and stopped in upon seeing the sign, drive thru was quick and easy. read more

We picked up a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese breakfast bagel and a Turkey Club bagel today. Both sandwiches cost us $17.50 total. The BEC was for my nephew, and I can assure you he made short work of it in record time. My wife and I split the Turkey Club, and if you check out the photo, you'll see how loaded with turkey it was. Half of that sandwich was plenty for each of us. And check out the gigantic slices of cheese pizza they sell. I'm not sure I've ever seen pizza slices that large. Easy five stars all around.

I also tried their English muffin bagel toasted with whipped cream cheese. They allow unlimited mix-ins, which is a great touch. I went with chives, jalapeños, and roasted garlic. The combo worked really well. The garlic was mild and flavorful, the chives tasted fresh, and the jalapeños added nice crunch and texture without too much heat. My only small knock was that the bagel itself did not taste as fresh as I hoped, but it was still good. The French toast bagel was my favorite tasting bagel of the bunch. I mixed the cream cheese with bacon and cheddar. The bagel itself was excellent, but the mix-ins did not fully hit for me since the cheddar was a bit sharp and the bacon was not crispy enough. For good measure, I had their Whipped Cloud Coffee, their signature fluffy whipped coffee served over ice. It was smooth, balanced, and really enjoyable, with just enough slight bitterness to cut the sweetness. Big shoutout to Ruth, Alex, and Mark. People talk about the 93 Bulls, but this was my 91 Bulls crew, just coming out, finding their rhythm, and locking in together. Great energy and great service. I also loved that their bagels come in daily from Westchester, which felt very New York. A couple useful notes. Their current hours are shown in the photos I uploaded here. Rainbow bagels are only available on Saturdays for now. Street parking is available nearby, which makes stopping by easy. Overall, a strong new spot with friendly staff and lots of options. I will definitely be back and recommend giving them a try.

I tried looking for an email to reach out to the owner, but their website seems down. I'm not comfortable saying the words that were said in front of me and my children when picking up our food, but it was derogatory and inappropriate. She's also just generally unfriendly and makes everything about her (ie; when short staffed and she complains the whole time she's prepping our food/drinks). Perhaps she's a great employee, but if that's the case she should go through extensive customer service training or just not work the front of house. I really wish this one employee wasn't tarnishing my entire experience, but it's been a negative experience with her every time (10+ times in-store) and is starting to wear on me. If the owner would like more details on my interactions I'm happy to share privately.

Next time Waze makes me cross over, I'd definitely stop here again.
