Delicious bagels! I was a little skeptical at first because they are viral, but I completely understand why. They are the perfect texture and are so soft on the inside! Disclaimer: there are only 5 types of bagels and you have to buy a minimum of 3 bagels. You only get 1 schmear, and an extra schmear is $8.

A new bagel shop enters the Nashville scene in the Gulch and one that I recognize from NYC. The bagels are very fresh and texture is perfect with a crisp. The bagels I got were hot and just out the oven. For sure eat them fresh. I got the everything bagel and I loved it with the scallion cream cheese. Such great flavors. They have new schmear flavors all the time so I'll have to go back to try new flavors. However, I must say I don't love the model of pop up bagels because you have to buy 3 bagels and 1 schmear minimum so if you were by yourself and only wanted one bagel, you couldn't do that. Also 1 schmear is limiting if you wanted to try different flavors. I wanted to try a sweet one but that wouldn't go with my savory bagel, so I just stuck with scallion. I wish you can do 2 smaller flavors.

First time visiting pop up bagels and as a bagel lover- these are so good. Went on a Monday morning right when they opened. The bagels weren't even out of the oven yet (which was a good thing IMO) because they came out hot and fresh. We got 1 plain, 1 everything, and 1 sesame seed. It wasn't until we looked in the bag that we also noticed they threw in an extra plain bagel, which was very nice. For spreads, I really wanted to try the brown butter but unfortunately they were out of it :( so instead we got the hot honey butter and just the plain cream cheese. Both of these flavors are delicious. I could not stop spreading the hot honey butter onto my bagel. Vibe and service of the establishment was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. For parking there is a lot next to the building that is free for the first hour!

Fun vibes & delicious bagels! They come in packs (3 bagel minimum) with a little tub of schmear. The idea is to rip your bagels & dip them into the cream cheese! You can mix & match your bagels. Would recommend!

Had I known the viral Pop Up Bagels had a location outside of New York I would have planned better and shown up earlier in the day. Turns out it didn't even matter though because they still had plenty of bagels and smear for me even 30 min before closing. We got the 3 pack with one smear: Sesame, salt and everything then got the scallion cream cheese. They were so sweet and threw in a container of Apple Pie cream cheese for us too! I'm so glad they did too because that one was so good and went really well with the salt bagel. The service was super friendly and fun. We were joking along with the employees there and having fun time. There are a couple tables inside but we didn't stay because they were close to closing. There are also some tables outside you can use but it was so hot we just went to the car to eat them. There's nothing like a warm fresh bagel and Pop Up bagels is famous for serving them this way all day, not just first thing in the morning. I never get a salt bagel because sesame is my favorite but after tasting this one I might be getting salt bagels more often. Since we were eating in the car we grabbed what I called 'fancy water' because it came in a fancy branded aluminum bottle. It's just regular water but made me feel like I was drinking some kind of elevated special water. Get your own fancy water too so you can feel super fancy like me! I'm glad I got to try this viral bagel place and get to see first hand what all the fuss is about. They earned the hype so go get some and see for yourself.

The bagels were still warm when we got them! They were soft and chewy and the scallion cream cheese paired well with the everything bagel. Highly recommend eating them immediately while they're still warm!

A few years ago we planned on trying PopUp Bagels in Manhattan during their explosion onto the food scene. Unfortunately we never made it as there was so much food consumed we just couldn't eat another bite. Fast forward to today and we are visiting Nashville for the very first time. We heard we had to check out The Gulch area and to our surprise, PopUp Bagels! My wife screamed it out as I drove by. Quick U-turn and we made it in just before they closed. Needless to say my expectations were low at closing time. Having opened 4 bagel restaurants in my lifetime, I struggle eating one that's more than 10 minutes old. Once you've had ultra fresh bagels, you just can't go back. If it's not warm, it's not good. We ordered the 3-pack: salt, sesame and an everything with scallion cream cheese. The staff were fantastic, had us laughing and having fun. What a great vibe in this place. As we were leaving one of the girls gave us another cream cheese "on the house" an apple spice! We get to the car to try these out and all three of them are still nice and warm... at closing time! Needless to say, we loved out bagels, loved the cream cheeses and loved the interaction with the staff. Great job PopUp!

My friend grabbed these for us before an event. And wow! These may be the best bagels I have ever had. They were so warm and soft. I ate one plain without any cream cheese or butter because they were THAT GOOD. I followed up my second one with some cream cheese. It was just as good. If you are in the area, you should stop in and try Popup Bagels.

I got here at 8 AM, and there was no line! PopUp Bagels is a rip & dip bagel shop, and I think it's a really different experience. Interior: I love the decor of this shop. When I stepped in, I got a beautiful whiff of bagels baking. The shop is more quick-pickup-centric, although they do have some limited outdoor seating. I could also see the PopUp Bagels team working with the bagels, which is pretty cool. Service: The pop-up bagel team was so warm and energetic, and their service was super fast. I literally didn't even wait before I received a bag of schmear and another bag of HOT bagels! Bite: I got the Everything Bagel and caramelized scallion butter. The bagel was extremely hot and fresh. Unlike traditional deli bagels, these weren't dense, and they were crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. The bagels were smaller in size but really delicious. PopUp Bagels is known for some of its iconic schmears, and the scallion butter slapped. It was so, so good and very generous in quantity. I loved my experience at PopUp Bagels, and I can't wait for their future schmear lineups!

Have been so excited for pop bagels to open in Nashville having frequented the many New York locations. I am a huge fan of their salt bagels and rotating varieties of schmear's. The current pesto butter is a must try. You can order online for pick up, but only by the dozen. However, I went midday on Sunday and there was a very short and quick line. I was able to conveniently park in the garage next-door (first hour free). The staff were very friendly and explained the process to those who haven't been before while in line. Once you order, there is an area to wait although the store itself is smaller and it can get a little cramped. Six bagels and a schmear is $24. Took less than 10 minutes to get my order.

Honestly, the bagels were great overall and the staff was friendly and greeted us when we enetered. My wife and I ordered a salt bagel and a plain bagel with a plain schemar. The schemars were interesting, and I really like the rotating flavor concept they use for them. The only thing I do wish is that they offered a few more flavors of bagels. That said, I understand the idea behind focusing on a smaller selection and doing those really well rather than offering a lot of options that might not be as consistent.

Came by recently with a friend and was surprised there was no line! We went on a weekday around 1:30pm. The employees were so kind and explained the menu items and options to us. The interior is pretty small, but there's a couple high top tables outside to eat at. We got the plain bagels with the vodka sauce schmear and it was delicious! Bagels were warm and the schmear flavors are so creative. The minimum number of bagels you can get though is 3 (for $15 with schmear included). I definitely didn't want 3 but spent the money anyways to try the bagels. Overall: cool bagel spot in the Gulch with great service but beware of limited seating on a busy day and must buy 3 bagels!!

It's in a small shopping center at the north limits of the Crieve Hall neighborhood. You can normally find a parking spot in the lot or if you know someone in the neighborhood, walking is an option too. Walk in and order at the counter. Be sure to check the available bagels that day AND any specials, especially the cinnamon bun special. Every time I have been, the staff has been extremely helpful as you navigate the choices. (note - there is a separate window outside to pickup online orders, delivery orders etc. so that helps with inside congestion). There is almost always a line but it moves quickly. On my last visit, they had just completed the March Madness bracket and were featuring the Cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese- $1. As I said, always check the special! They will feature some interesting coffees, bagels varieties and let's talk about the Cinnamon Roll. The first time I sampled the Cinnamon Roll special it was a blueberry pancake version, imagine an amazing cinnamon roll(yes, it's sweet but not overly and has great flavor), with blueberries and cream on top! The only downside is they are very large, but that means you get one to share with your people. Their bagels are really good! You can eat them plain or get some spread for them. (note that bulk bagel orders are not sliced). They also have breakfast sandwiches. To top it off, this has the feel of a real neighborhood spot. Plenty of folks greeting each other, friends connecting, families gathering. Indoor seating with books for the wee folks and some outdoor tables too. I understand they have another location but this is original CHBCO. Definitely worth checking it out!
