They patched us up so we could drive to a nearby hotel (walking distance). They made recommendations for hotels and restaurants. We were able to drop the vehicle off first thing in the morning. We walked back to the hotel until check out. There was a dog park about 3-4 blocks from the shop... and a starbucks. They had us back on the road that afternoon. While it's quite easy to get frustrated because of the unexpected cost of a repair and a hotel, they were great. The crew kept us updated on the timeline. Their fee's are in-line with what shops charge. They did not price gouge. When you are at the mercy of car repairs it is a fear. I brought my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD to Albert's Auto Transmission because it was having serious transmission/shifting issues, including losing power, not shifting properly, and getting stuck around 60 mph. I was charged over $6,400 for the transmission work. After the repairs, I received my truck back only about two days later, but unfortunately, the same problems were still happening. The truck was still losing power and having the same shifting/performance issues that I originally brought it in for. I then took the truck to another shop specifically to have it evaluated. I was told they were looking at issues involving the radiator/fan system, but regardless, those issues do not explain why my truck was returned to me still experiencing the transmission-related symptoms I originally brought it in for. At this point, I am extremely disappointed because I paid thousands of dollars expecting the original problem to be properly diagnosed and repaired, and I did not receive the result I paid for. I am now documenting everything, seeking an independent evaluation, contacting the Better Business Bureau, and pursuing the appropriate legal remedies to seek reimbursement/refund. I encourage anyone considering this shop to get everything in writing, ask exactly what is being repaired, and get an independent second opinion before spending thousands of dollars. My experience has been extremely frustrating, and I would not return here based on the results of my repair.

I was never clearly informed about storage fees, and every time I called I was told not to worry about them meanwhile the charges kept increasing to an unreasonable amount. That is completely unacceptable and misleading. Instead of explaining anything or helping me understand the situation, he repeatedly told me to "get a lawyer." The entire process was disorganized, slow, and poorly communicated. At times I was even made to feel like I was at fault, even though my car was parked and I had nothing to do with the accident. I do appreciate Jay for helping me the night of the incident, but overall this shop came across as more focused on making money and getting that insurance check than actually helping customers. There was a clear lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism. Customers deserve to be clearly informed about fees and next steps not misled and left in the dark.
