I decided on this local establishment even though I had a coupon for Jiffy Lube. I'm glad I did, the service was fast and friendly with only a little bit of upselling. It is convenient and I like to support local businesses. They left me with great restaurant recommendations which is so appreciated! As for value, I had done my research, and for my car it was on par. I will be back. read more

Stopped by Santa Paula Lubestop and had a really great experience. The owner George and his staff were friendly, professional, and got me taken care of right away. The service was super efficient, and I appreciated having a chill conversation with George while I waited. A well-run shop--I'll return when I need service again. read more

SP LUBESTOP - My oil info - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Santa Paula, California

I got my oil changed and it cost $125, I did not get my tires rotated because it was an extra $45. They came down to $40 but it was still to expensive. I have a 2021 VW Tiguan and It took them 7 minutes, I like how quick it was but the price was to high for me. They were the only place open Saturday at 3pm. Everywhere closed at 2:30 and I unexpectedly had to drive over 300 miles for a family member in need so I felt better getting it done. It was very easy to call, get right in and no wait time but Next time I will schedule elsewhere for cheaper and a more thorough service. read more

Needed an Oil Change while visiting SP and was very impressed by Jose and crew, fast, friendly service. Prices are fair and they even cleaned up a mouse nest they discovered in the air intake. Was so impressed I went back today to have them catch up the Maint sched with an overdue brake, coolant flush and safety inspect. They advised that brakes etc are OK but that a suspension piece had failed, loosened and needed to be replaced. This would've taken weeks and multiple visits at my local shop. I'm a new, loyal customer of SP Lubestop. read more

Bait & Switch... called for a full synthetic oil change, Jose stated $126. I get there, and he raises it to $146. Mind you, he had an attitude when I called, and again, when I was there. Made sense why no one was there, I would never want to be around Jose ever. No way Jose! Go to Jiffy Lube in Fillmore, and ask for Marco... he's the best! read more

AMAZING SERVICE! I don't think I will take my car anywhere else now, they helped me out and the cost was honestly very well priced! For the value of what you're getting I don't think I will be taking my car anywhere else. Thank you George read more

I have been here a few times to get an oil change, and the staff here is always ready to help/service. Each time I have been here, from start to finish, it took about 30 minutes if not faster. The staff let me know of things that I might want to get changed during the services, but they were not pushy or trying to make a sale. I'm not a mechanic or automotive inclined, but I have not had an issue or experienced anything wrong with my vehicles after having them serviced at this shop. read more

Lovely little shop, very clean and organized!! I was at the shop probably longer than average, but I didn't mind at all as the workers were friendly (and curious about my unusual little car!). Jose and Luis engaged me the most, which was very much appreciated as I have SO MUCH ANXIETY and the two of them made me feel very comfortable and welcome! I will absolutely be stopping here again in the future-- and, of course, for anyone who wishes to know, the prices are standard for the quality work they do! And no one pushed anything extra on me at all, which was an relief!! Maybe it was all in my head, but car felt so lovely to drive after it's much-needed oil change was done!! ^^ read more

Great and efficient service! I was in and out quickly. I like knowing that I'm paying for good quality oil and have professionals working on my car. The owner and staff members are kind and super professional; they are knowledgeable and detail oriented, which is great. They took the time to talk to me and I knew I made the right decision coming here! To be completely honest, I have a hard time going to any car shop in fear of disloyal businesses, but Yelp does not lie! I feel at ease and completely comfortable with them. I know that they'll answer any questions and will take care of my car. Easy to spot a pretty nice location. I haven't had a problem with time, and the price is great since you're paying for both quality and efficiency. So happy and thankful I was in the area to have crossed paths with this amazing service. Don't hesitate to stop by! read more

I want to SP LUBESTOP on a recommendation from a friend and was extremely happy with George, his team and the work they did on my old VW Beetle. They did a complete oil change and checked out my engine. They told me what I still need to have done. I said I would be back when I get paid. They never pressured me to come back but I will because of their fine work, I professionalism, they're very friendly. I was never rushed, yet they completed the work in a little over a half hour. Oh, not to mention that I didn't have to wait for the excellent service. **** read more

SP LUBESTOP - Getting my oil changed. - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Santa Paula, California

These guys are the real deal, in n out with an oil change new air filter and fluids topped off in minutes!!

Since the ownership changed, this location has been a reliable place for a quick oil change and for preventative maintenance at a fair price. The owner is helpful and accommodating and he has hired good help. I appreciated that they fallowed up with us even after the service to make sure we were satisfied and that everything was running smoothly. Anyone that has grown up in SP knows this location has always been run like a joke so I'm glad to see this place finally turn around and have some pride. I can send my wife there without worrying that she will get scammed. read more

SP LUBESTOP - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Santa Paula, California

I never did a Yelp review an this place moved me to say something. The owner an his mechanic told me I had to pay $80 for a oil change, they said " it'll last 5,000 miles an this an that." Long story short I had 10% oil life left 2 months later. (Car is driven not often at all) So they doubled the price after they switched ownerships an what they said would happen, Never did.. would not recommend this place to anyone. They don't even deserve that 1 star. read more

All I wanted was an oil change, prices weren't bad for a shop and I like supporting Santa Paula. These guys try and sell me on the typical up sales and show me my transmission fluid to tell me it's dirty. These mechanics just decided to crack open my sealed transmission without checking temperatures or anything. I have no idea how much fluid was lost or why they were down there in the first place. Wanted an oil change, now I've got more issues than when I got there. Get a freakin clue... learn about the cars your working on or just do what a customer asks read more
