The staff let me know of things that I might want to get changed during the services, but they were not pushy or trying to make a sale. I got my oil changed and it cost $125, I did not get my tires rotated because it was an extra $45. They came down to $40 but it was still to expensive. I have a 2021 VW Tiguan and It took them 7 minutes, I like how quick it was but the price was to high for me. They were the only place open Saturday at 3pm. Everywhere closed at 2:30 and I unexpectedly had to drive over 300 miles for a family member in need so I felt better getting it done. It was very easy to call, get right in and no wait time but Next time I will schedule elsewhere for cheaper and a more thorough service. read more

Needed an Oil Change while visiting SP and was very impressed by Jose and crew, fast, friendly service. Prices are fair and they even cleaned up a mouse nest they discovered in the air intake. Was so impressed I went back today to have them catch up the Maint sched with an overdue brake, coolant flush and safety inspect. They advised that brakes etc are OK but that a suspension piece had failed, loosened and needed to be replaced. This would've taken weeks and multiple visits at my local shop. Lovely little shop, very clean and organized!! I was at the shop probably longer than average, but I didn't mind at all as the workers were friendly (and curious about my unusual little car!). Jose and Luis engaged me the most, which was very much appreciated as I have SO MUCH ANXIETY and the two of them made me feel very comfortable and welcome! Long story short I had 10% oil life left 2 months later. (Car is driven not often at all) So they doubled the price after they switched ownerships an what they said would happen, Never did.. would not recommend this place to anyone. All I wanted was an oil change, prices weren't bad for a shop and I like supporting Santa Paula. These guys try and sell me on the typical up sales and show me my transmission fluid to tell me it's dirty. These mechanics just decided to crack open my sealed transmission without checking temperatures or anything. I have no idea how much fluid was lost or why they were down there in the first place. Went in for an oil change. 7 quarts of conventional oil. No big deal. Air filter for $25? No big deal, pretty reasonable. But $57 for the oil change not including the cost of the oil? Happened to be an even $100 all said and done. Interesting. I get that you guys aren't working for free and need to turn a profit. I am smart enough to see right thru the up charge sales tactics that are not necessarily bad things for someone's vehicle, but for someone who's built motors and knows precisely what's inside them, how ones assembled, and what the oil your changing does In keeping a motor from rapidly self disassembling out of the blue. Will admit that the individual who did help me was knowledgeable about the types of oil, didn't try to convolute the full synthetic doing things it doesn't do, was realistic about the milage between oil changes using synthetic vs conventional, and got the lid for the air-box off and on correctly with our dropping any of the clips. For what your charging might as well check the differential fluid, trans fluid, and blinker fluid. Biaxial Timken Muffler barring and piston return springs too. You know those are pretty important items to keep an eye on... read more
