This place was listed as the top breakfast spot in Corning, but it was a big disappointment. I was surprised that the coffee selection was so limited since this is a bakery and cafe. My wife ordered a bagel sandwich and the bagel didn't seem fresh. I ordered the diner breakfast...the cheesy potatoes were tasteless and the eggs were disappointing. My kids wanted hot chocolate, but they didn't have any available. The place is very cute and inviting, but the overall experience did not live up to expectation.

We were headed to a nearby restaurant after a day at the Corning Museum, and just happened to park in front of this bakery...and we had been looking for a bakery to pick up some dessert for the next day...and they were still open...and still had a nice assortment of treats at 5PM! What luck! We bought a chocolate ganache brownie, chocolate chip peanut butter brownie and a 7 layer bar. We cut each into thirds so we could each try them all. They were all delicious! Staff were friendly and enthusiastic about their baked goods. Such a cute place with wonderful treats!

Wow! Love, love love. The options on the menu were fantastic. It's such a cute place. Great vibe and atmosphere. I think the service could have been better, like a greeting upon entry or at least saying I'll be with you in a second. We ordered the spinach crepe, bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich, and bagel with cream cheese. They were absolutely delicious. I was amazed at the smell and taste of the crepe. Perfection. I love cute little cafe's like this one. It was also nice that they refer customers to soulful coffee cafe, because we had stopped there for some lattes. It's good to know that local businesses support the others. This place is known for their bubble teas. Although they did have some coffee/tea drinks. The waitress recommended the cheesy potatoes and it was fantastic. Mind blown at all the flavors. It's also very kid friendly. My daughter had a blast and was able to color and enjoyed her food.

My first breakfast of my Corning weekend was not one to disappoint. I ordered a ham, egg, and cheese crepe that was very tasty. I also got a carrot cake cup cake that was super tasty! The iced coffee wasn't great, kind of old tasting but whatever no big deal there. Prices were good and the staff was very friendly and great as well. My girlfriend also tried their bourbon crepe and caramel fudge brownie which were sooo very tasty! The place itself was super cute with a good deal of seating and some outdoor tables as well. Nice place and I look forward to trying them again!

Poppleton! What a cute name for a bakery! We were fairly excited about this place due to the reviews here. We went after a visit to the corning museum of glass. It was the first time in a year my husband and I didn't do take away. I ordered their soup and quiche combo for 8 dollars and my husband ordered a savory crepe! I will say that their curried tomato soup was very tasty! It's vegan and gluten free! The quiche was tasty but it was not that warm, and not reheated well in my opinion. My husband enjoyed his crepe. I would say the food was average. I think the key at this place is really in their baked goods - the cake pops were moist, and tasty! Things I didn't like: they didn't appear to clean tables in between customers (or at least right after) - we were there for maybe 30-40 mins. The food was not warm enough for me. They also ran out of bubbles (they serve bubble tea starting at 11 AM and we got there at 1) - I suspect maybe traffic there was higher than usual. I'd be willing to try this place again on a day it isn't as busy to see if their service differs (the staff was actually pretty awesome despite the setbacks mentioned above)!

Ham, turkey and apple crepe, and a cucumber salad.

Breakfast and lunch crepes. Having a ham, turkey and apple crepe right now. Plus it comes with a side of your choice. I chose cucumbers salad. That is also delicious. Not fancy, just delicious.

Great little spot for breakfast! They have a selection of grab-and-go baked goods like scones and scones (which were outstanding!) as well as prepared food like crepes and breakfast sandwiches. It was quite busy on Saturday morning, so prepare to wait a little!

Cheesy potatoes and spinach crepe. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had. Highly recommend.

Not bad food. The cake though was too sweet. Portions could definitely be more. $15-20 per person.

Definitely a spot where you could linger for a while. Food-wise, we ordered the fried rice with crispy chicken (breaded in crushed Cheerios--yes, Cheerios, and yes, surprisingly delicious!), the bánh mì, and the crispy chicken sandwich, which ended up being the star of the show. Every bite of that sandwich was perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and satisfying. We upgraded our side to the greens, which came topped with some mysterious orange ingredient--maybe a grated carrot dressing? Whatever it was, it was scrumptious. We also ordered a side of pickles, which were surprisingly affordable and so flavorful that they disappeared fast. We didn't try any drinks, but the menu had plenty of interesting options to choose from. One of my favorite parts of the experience was how family-friendly the place felt: while we waited, the kids grabbed a new-to-us game (The Enchanted Forest) from the board game shelves, which made the time fly by. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering, and overall we had a fantastic experience. If we lived closer, this would be a regular lunch spot for sure!

The ambiance is dim and quiet, but they were happy to have us. My 4 year old used colored pencils on coloring sheets we brought with us. For babies and small kids, they have ingelisa chairs that clip on the high tables and I was concerned about the high chairs for our 4 year old but it was fine. She devoured her entire meal(chicken tenders) and a half of our 1 year olds' (they have a kids menu with chicken tenders, grilled peanut butter and fluff, noodles with butter, hot dog..). The service was fast and great. While I am vegetarian and my spouse is gluten free, we are always pleasantly surprised when we both find delicious food. I loved the general tso's poboy with cauliflower and tofu. I wish there was more cauliflower since my 1 year old took many of those pieces. My spouse got something with "pulled pork and quinoa" and he said it was very good too.
