Stumbled upon this nice restaurant. We were seated almost immediately. The food was delicious.

Amazing food. Our waitress Hadlie was very nice and professional. The ambiance was an unexpected cool vibe, even romantic for date night with an upscale menu and lovely modern decor. They have a separate bar area which was spacious We loved our meals. Fettuccine Alfredo was out of this world good! I had the wedge salad with grilled shrimp and it was very fresh and crisp. My brother had the meatball cupcake which he loved and served with mashed potatoes and green beans. This restaurant is close to the KY dam village state park. Worth the drive. They also make pizza which looked great.

Got seated right away, wasn't to busy. We got waited on right away and asked a bunch of questions which were all answered easily by our waitress. Really nice, clean building with a modern classic look. The food was all mid-size portions and tasted good. The smokehouse burger was absolutely a killer.

Wedge salad...the best I have ever had

First off- our waitress was amazing!!! She said it was her first night, but you couldn't tell. Even if the food was bad (which it WASN'T) having her as our waitress would've made it tolerable. Our food was AMAZING. I had the wedge salad to start. It was by far, the best wedge salad I have ever had (& I have them a lot) I also had the Cajun catfish. It was sooo good. My husband had a pizza and was very pleased. The decor is very nice. Very classy.

Out for a quiet dinner at Popi's and not disappointed as usual here. The staff and servants very were very good. I had the Papa Pete's pizza (aka Meat Lovers) ordered the crust crispy and it was perfect and delicious. The crust super thin and crispy can't go wrong. I had a nice glass of Cabernet with my meal. For the quality and portion size prices are very reasonable. Plenary of parking.

Skip the salad and move on to dessert. Although the Greek Salad is good, I can't say it is exceptional. Not available in a small side salad. Citrus Chicken needed a sign on the plate to remind the diner there was supposed to be citrus flavor of some sort. Asparagus was have inedible as it was the thick stalks. As for the specialty Popi's Chicken, I had returned here just for it! After a couple times ordering it, this visit I was disappointed. There was no Demi glacé which was the star in previous experiences. The mushrooms were closer to cold than warm. Asparagus was the same. The server tried to fix it. Unfortunately the repeat performance was exactly that. The same drab cold veg and dry chicken. Perhaps go with the pizza or burgers. The atmosphere and the restaurant decor are nicely done. The service was stable. The bar was not open.

Ate here for lunch for the first time and the food was AMAZING. The wait staff with very attentive. The decor is beautiful. I would say this is very upscale for the area and it's a pleasure to find a really nice restaurant to eat at. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants a good meal.

    The exterior

I would say the best part of this establishment is the exterior of the building. It is a very nice looking restaurant. We ordered salmon, chicken strips, steak, the club and shrimp. The best thing on the table was the kids' cheese pizza. It's overpriced old people food.

Absolutely delicious. The Citrus Chicken was perfectly grilled.

Came on the recommendation from a friend (04/25/2026), I'd heard mixed reviews so I was curious…read moreabout this place. I'll give them 4.75 stars, but they did fantastic so I'll round up for this place. First, we walk in the door and Zack walked past and complimented the boss on her snazzy shirt and a few other staff were friendly too so the vibe was nice to start off. We were then led to our table to discover Zack is our server for the night. Another compliment on the bosses glasses, okay she did look great - Thanks Zack! Drinks come out super fast and we get our food ordered. Zack was great helping with Alpha Gal and later following up with the kitchen staff that they had in fact not put butter on my fish - another win. I ordered the red fish special (I think) with a baked potato and the boss got the Harris Platter. Zack recommended blackened and was so right, delicious! I tried her fired catfish and that was delicious too, but would have dipped it in hot sauce, but the cocktail sauce was so yummy with a nice horseradish bite - delicious and maybe better than hot sauce (slander I know). That 0.25 off - well the hushpuppies were kinda gross and bland. This is the south so quality hushpuppies are a must. Ask for Zack, you will not be dissapointed.

We ordered drinks. I ordered a double Basil Hayden sour and my friend Tanqueray and tonic. We had shrimp, crab cakes, mahi and Ahi. All were delicious. Half way through the meal we ordered another drink. When the check came my 2 drinks were $56. $28 each. I understand that a double is 2ce the price as a single but in a place where 95% of the menu items are $20ish or less and the restaurant is NOT high end one would not expect to pay this much for a drink. If you are going to charge above average prices they should be disclosed. No prices are on the menu.
