It went so fast I couldn't get a picture (HH might have and I will add later). ** I had a Farmhouse BLT! Farmhouse had fried green tomatoes!! Never had a BLT like that... It was YUMMY! The green tomatoes were so good that I ordered more! Can't wait to visit the restaurant! Though we live on the east side of TN I'm sure we will make a special trip there! Looking forward to it!

We just beat the rush at 5:30 on Saturday evening. They brought a bowl of hush puppies, white…read morebeans, and slaw to the table before our entrees. It was a struggle not to fill up before the entree arrived, the beans were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had the 2-piece catfish filet meal and they were cooked just right. My sister had the country fried steak, which was almost as big as the plate! Plenty left for her to have another meal at home. I just wish mashed potatoes were a side item since they go so well with the country fried steak. The restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. There's a good amount of seating and you can visit with the goats and donkeys if you have to wait for a table.

We were traveling with our dachshund…read moreand needed a place to eat where he would be welcome (too warm to leave him in the car) that also wasn't the typical "burger and fries" joint. We split the Harris Platter and 2 frog legs (added on). It was enough for us because we were looking to eat light, but those with more robust appetites may not be able to share. A side + hushpuppies were included so we got the Real Southern Potato Casserole. Hushpuppies were GREAT and I believe they were made in house. The shrimp, frog legs and catfish were seasoned and fried to perfection. Crab cakes were on the smaller side (after all, it is a sampler) but packed a LOT of flavor. The remoulade was a great accompaniment (and tasted like it was made in house as well). Clam strips were good overall, but we're not really 'clam' people so we're not sure what is good and what isn't. We did, however, end up eating everything on our plate so they definitely worked for us! They offer Pepsi products as well as beer and a full bar. We ordered a West Sixth IPA (brewed in Lexington), which paired nicely with our seafood. Everyone that worked there was so sweet and friendly, including our very attentive server (we don't remember her name but wish we would have so we could give her a shout out!). We would definitely return here if we're ever back in the area.

I was quickly waited on by the bartender/server. The staff were very friendly. I had a local craft beer, Paducah Beer Werks Irish Red, which paired well with the Made from Scratch Hush Puppies and Fried Crawfish Tails. The Homemade Remoulade for dipping was excellent. I would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone visiting the area. The nautical theme is throughout the restaurant and I noticed a few fish tanks as well.

Given the size of our group, they did a great job of getting the food out quickly and brought everyone's meals out at the same time. Food was hot and fresh and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. As someone who's used to Teppanyaki-style Japanese cuisine, I found the hibachi here to be very similar--though it's not prepared in front of you like at teppanyaki, it still delivers on flavor. I ordered the Christmas Roll, and I loved the crunch and great flavor it offered. The portion size was decent for the price, too. I also tried the hibachi chicken and vegetables, which came with miso soup and salad. Everything was tasty and well-prepared. The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting, with blue illuminated dividers that really made the space pop. The service was also good--they kept our drinks filled and were attentive throughout the meal. The place was clean and the food was yummy, so I'd recommend giving it a try if you're in the area!

I told them about the birthday at that time. When we arrived they had just opened for dinner at 4:30. When I looked at the menu on Yelp it was deceiving because it looked like they had hibachi tables. They do not. We were sat originally at a relatively small table. But, when we asked for a bigger table they were happy to move us. The waitress Stephannie was great. She was able to get our request for a custom sushi roll made. And, she was very pleasant. We ordered calamari and shrimp tempura, they were average. We then ordered 5 sushi rolls which were all delicious and beautiful. The hibachi dinners were generous and very good. The yum yum sauce is fantastic too. I like that they have it in squeeze bottles at the table. Hubby was in love with the yumyum and even put it on his salad. I took one star off because they never acknowledged his birthday. When I asked if they could do a little something they said they could maybe do icecream, but then she came back and said they're out of icecream. Very disappointed being that we drove so far and had so many options...and being his Golden Birthday. Overall a good meal.
