The meat is sitting in precooked trays instead of being freshly cooked. The rice is a skinnier grain than I prefer from platter shops. Might just be me but it's the kind of rice that can't absorb the flavor from what you pair it with. Most of the flavor is coming from the sauce instead of the meat, rice or salad. I can't really excuse these faults because this is supposed to be the 100th location of this chain. It didn't taste bad, but I think there are a lot of other shops or even trucks to compare it to and I didn't think it could hold its own.
