Drive-thru wait times are occasionally slow but otherwise I've never had a problem at this location.

I am really surprised to see other reviews here which are negative, because I had a great…read moreexperience and I'm very picky about Mexican food. So picky in fact my friend Davis and I go to get Mexican once a week in Ocala because we're not satisfied with any Gainesville or Newberry Mexican restaurants. The ambience here is . . . well, you can see it as festive or garish I guess either one. Very brightly colored Mexican chairs and everything else. Both a radio playing and television on with sound: I don't get why restaurants need to have TVs, I can see it for a sports bar but every single restaurant? Come on. Service however was friendly and prompt. Then there is the food. The chips and salsa were certainly homemade and tasty. I ordered chicken tamales and the three-tamale plate comes with rice, black beans, and the tamales themselves buried beneath a salad of lettuce, tomato, and Mexican cheese. The plate was enormous and every aspect of it fresh and very, very, good. The tamales, especially. Prices are very fair for such quality and large plates of food. Maybe when it first opened things ran a bit rough hence the poor reviews but I was only impressed: first-rate authentic Mexican with a varied menu and very good portions.

The pupusa's are some of the best we've ever had, there was a healthy Salvadoran population where…read morewe came from and once we got here... well, we missed pupusa's a great deal. Their Birria tacos are also very delicious! Definitely recommend, the only thing that could be improved on in my opinion are the chips.

I seen a lot of positive reviews and decided to try this Mexican restaurant located in the little,…read moreout of the way town of Williston, Florida. It is a small place filled with perhaps too many tables, but service was friendly and I was in and out in a relatively speedy amount of time. Let me state if you are concerned with the staff wearing masks, perhaps here is not the place for you. Neither my server nor the cooks were making masks. They are charging more for their menu items, my lunch fajitas order was two dollars ($2.00) more and my server did tell me. They are citing increased prices due to COVID-19, but as far as I know prices have settled and it is time for them to decide if they want to simply up their prices or bring them to what is printed on the menu. Plus, every item has had the priced raised, where most places just raised the price of beef items. The salsa and chips were good. The salsa was chunky and flavorful and the chips had a great crunch to them. Their chicken fajitas were not too good. They were on the edge of burned (but still acceptable) and lacking the spices that make it a wonder. Plus it was a bit dry. The rice and refried beans were good, though. So I cannot see myself returning. The food was barely mediocre and while the service was good, I was taken aback a bit by the upcharge.

Not very often you get both really good salsa and good chips, they have both. We all had three…read moredifferent meats they were all absolutely yummy. Service was great, place was clean, we had a great meal after visiting the local springs.
