This has to be the most popular place in Walker to eat. It doesn't matter what time of the day you come, there is a wait. What I can appreciate is that face that more often than not, the food is nice and hot. There has been a couple times that I have come that the food was meh.... If you are in the mood for chicken in Walker be prepared to wait a min. For the most part, the food will be nice and hot. read more

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Chicken Wings Near Me - Walker, Louisiana

Definitely not one of my best experiences with a Popeyes. The workers were very rude and the restaurant wasn't that clean. They had a 30 minute wait on chicken breast, ( a chicken fast food place!). After figuring that out there was still a wait for the food for it to come out under cooked and slimy. The mashed potatoes had something hard in them that made it grainy. The fries and biscuit was good thought. Don't recommend!!! read more

Awesome customer service the food was hot and fresh. The service was superb. Everyone worked as a team.

The absolute best Popeyes, very friendly and the food was delicious. Fresh hot chicken

Very busy store but the food and service is great 5 stars!!!! Props to the managers and the entire staff.

This has got to be the slowest Popeyes I've ever been to EVER! Every time you go here there's a line wrapped around the building to the road and 20 minutes until you get to the window! ITS RIDICULOUS. Its not even fast food at this point! THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME TYPE OF FIRING GOING ON AND THE GM NEEDS TO STEP TF IN AND TAKE OVER HIS RESTAURANT. FIND NEW STAFF AND MANAGERS TO RUN THIS PLACE BECAUSE RIGHT NOW ITS BULLSHIT ! And then when you finally get the food its cold!!! Would not recommend until they do w full REVAMP on staff, time procedures & protocol! No way Every damn body is getting pulled up to wait for their food! A TRUE SHIT SHOW!!! read more

well we decided to stop at Popeyes this after noon to get food we got three orders of tenders which where all greasy and no flavor the biscuits tasted like varnish for a floor and the red beans and rice blue runner would have been better what is going on with Popeyes and trying to call the location is a joke 40.00 down the tubes read more

CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE U LEAVE!! Ordered( 2) 3 piece dark combos for $25. Did not get what I paid for 1 dinner correct but 1 was 2 piece white dinner. Didn't get a receip. read more

I just attempted to buy 2 extra sauces and was not allowed to get ranch and was offering to pay a really good price to get ranch they would have 5x their profit, they don't allow u to get extra sauce I've never heard of a place not making more money to give out 2 sauces. Also got my order wrong with a 5 piece tender how do u mess the most thing ordered there up? I don't know. read more

On behalf of the hubby since it was his order and not mine: he ordered a 2 piece dark meat box for lunch, he ended up with a 2 piece white meat box.. he said it was good. They are normally slammed full through the drive-thru but we got lucky and only had 4 cars in front of us. The employee taking the order was an older woman, she was very polite. Food was good, fresh and hot according to him even though it wasn't exactly what he ordered. read more

Package the food in such a way that it doesn't spill out. You packed the sides on their sides and then put other food on top which caused the food in the bottom burst open and spread all over the other food. Then you wouldn't answer your phone when I called! I'm sure Miss Candace Mello would like to know this! read more

Most unprofessional Popeyes EVER!!!!! You stand in line unacknowledged and everyone there seems to be having a bad day and is rude!!

Horrible customer service and employees don't know how to work a cash register. Waited 10 minutes for the old lady at the register to Try and put my order in. She shouldn't be in a role that involves technology. Left without putting an order in and not going back read more

Today I ordered a 10 piece mixed, hold the wings, 5 biscuits, large fry and large mashed potato. When I got home I realized out of the 10 pieces of chicken 4 were wings, I had half a container of mashed potatoes and NO BISCUITS! Not happy!! read more

Horrible experience, 1 hour after I place my mobile order I was able to leave with my order only to find out when I got home that I didn't get my dry ass biscuits. This location sucks read more

If you're hungry and want Popeyes, don't choose this location. You will die in the parking lot from hunger before you even make it to the speaker. The service is slower than watching grass grow. read more

Is this the worst popeyes in the world? I cant say, objectively. What i DO know is that after waiting, quite patiently and without a single word, for over 15 minutes to order with 2 people in line, the cashier, amanda, had the audacity to give me an attitude. I was still polite. There was no spicy chicken and it would be over 25 minutes, so I changed my order to mild. I got more attitude. I pointed out to her that I was being very accommodating, at which time she sarcastically called me miss america. I later noticed during my 15 minute wait for my food that there was a full bin of spicy. I guess she had a personal issue with me. Do not recommend. read more

Lately when I visit this establishment they always get my order wrong. I have no idea what is going on here but enjoy Popeyes chicken and we would appreciate if we get EVERYTHING we pay for. We live too far to go back. read more

Greeted very warmly and that's where the warmth would end. They served us a 10 PC box of cold chicken. The temp of the beans and rice were not exactly warm and the smell made wonder if they were on their way to spoiling. We didn't bother asking them to replace the beans because the attitude we got for requesting to wait for hot chicken was pretty intimidating. And wait we did..seemed like for about 20-30 minutes! I did insist that some complimentary biscuits were the least they could offer after we had already waited 15+ minutes with no acknowledgement of how much longer it would be. We were given a medley of jelly, honey, ketchup and hot sauce packets all of which were covered with some unknown sticky residue. Pretty much the worse Popeyes Chicken in the World...ok in Louisiana! read more

I've given this place multiple chances. I went through today got two diff employees come on speaker to take my order and said o never mind. then the manager comes on after 15 minutes asks to take my order. Then has the nerve to tell me after I've been sitting here at I will have to wait for the food. if you would have taken my order instead of the shift change excuses no one wants to here do your job! 7:33-7:47 I sat there that's not a shift change time read more

We got in here about 850pm to order dinner after just driving in and checking in to hotel we noticed Popeyes was down the street. We walked in the Restaurant looked clean, it was quiet. Only one other customer was in there besides me and my son and nephew. ( The other customer had to go in and get something the drive thru forgot to give him apart of his order. Anyways... It was our turn to be assisted and the man behind the counter. His name started with K ( Kresendo (please excuse if I miss spell ). and he was the assistant manager. He was very rude, short. It was as if we where bothering him to be there ordering our food. When he was talking to us it sounded like either he had something in his mouth or was mumbling. As he gave us our order my son went to ask him what his name was and the man just walked away from the counter, kept walking away to the back. A woman from near the drive thru area said I am sorry can I help you with something? My son explained we just wanted his name so we could write a review and she told us his name. The food was delicious and we are very happy with it. But the customer service from a assistant manager was very disappointing! read more

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - a box of fried chicken and fries - Chicken Wings Near Me - Walker, Louisiana

One of the best popeyes I have been in, in a long time! The employees were presentable and professional, the manager was actually managing and not hiding behind the rack of chicken and the restaurant was clean and cool. (Most popeyes are muggy) We ordered 2 of the special boneless boxes and our orders came out hot and accurate and only took a few minutes of waiting. Eventhough there is a popeyes within a mile of my house, I will purposely make the drive to this one thanks to the staff! read more

place had over 10 cars going in to traffic down road right now. I've been here about 20 minutes and they have moved one car forward. the employees don't know how to operate this busines. they are taking one order every 10-20 minutes , I guess so they can cook them one at a time. read more

Terrible restaurant. Terrible service. Waited 30 minutes after order (a very small order might I add) was supposed to be done. 10 customers walked in with their food and walked out. I had to go back in to complain. At that point they then began working on it. Food was lukewarm. Will never order anything from this location again. read more

COLD, Dried up chicken! Slimy cole slaw, dried up red beans. $16.30 for 2 3 piece white dinners. No receipt. Had to give it to the dogs. I literally just waited 45 mins in the line just to be served cold & hard shrimp that are suppose to be cooked to order. I am extremely disappointed and this is not the first time this has happed. Got some today. this is the last time for us! chicken was greasy, the sides were very small and NO difference between the order for mild and the order for spicy. We ordered for 11 people and was totally embarrassed. The sides only fed a couple of people. The only thing that was decent was the biscuits but everything else was truly horrible. We've been Popeyes fans for years but if this is what's happening now - no more! I did see where this particular restaurant in Walker has had some bad reviews, so hopefully it's just this one in Zachary. Best advice - just don't. read more

Absolutely worst service I've ever experienced in my life. Spent over $20 on online order where it asked what I would like to pick up through drive-through or counter service. Got there knocked on the door they let in another guy to get his order. Employee told me I couldn't get my order at the counter that I had to wait in the drive-through. Started getting irate and rude with me. Very unprofessional. Ended up letting them keep the $20 online order and drove off. read more

Popeyes as a whole should get there act together. Just sat through 30 minutes in drive through just to be told they were out of chicken at 8 pm. A chicken restaurant that's out of chicken, go figure. The funny thing is, is that's normal. If I had a dime every time they were out of something I wanted I'd be a millionaire. People don't flock to raising canes and chik fillet because the food is better, they go there because they're clean and efficient unlike all Popeyes. Don't get me wrong, the food is good but damn you're service is ridiculous. It's not the employees fault, it's corporate wide read more
