When I arrived at 6:35 they first could not find my order and insisted I was at the wrong store. After showing them the order on my phone they found it in a bag without a ticket on top of the French fries warmer. After printing a new ticket the said they'd get my fries. Then they said they didn't have any hot dog buns and I told them that's ok. Still no fries - my bag just sat there. Been several years since I've hit 5 guys and this visit reminded me why. Pricing is nuts. 2 burgers and fries and soda (without carbonation at all today cause nobody knew how to fix it. $38!!! For flat soda. Staff speaks only Spanish and they were rattling on. Didn't bother to tell me after I paid $3. For sodas that the machine was busted. One of my favorite places to go to when it comes to burgers. Every location has the same amazing burgers, quick service, and great staff. I have not had a bad experience ever at this five guys or any five guys. I love that they always give you tons of fries, and the Cajun fries are insanely delicious. I even sometimes ask for extra seasoning on the side. The milkshakes are also great and so are the hot dogs. If you're doing keto you can either get it in a bowl or wrapped in lettuce! After a pretty lengthy hiatus from the Five Guys franchise, we decided to give it another go at this location. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. I mean, not dirty tables. The restroom wasn't dirty. The drink and ketchup area was nice and tidy. It was excellent! The food service was pretty fast. The only hold up seemed to be the shakes, as they seem to take awhile to come out. All of the burgers were hot and fresh. My husband's was the best of all. He had the double with bacon and cheese and It was awesome. I had a little burger with only cheese and grilled onions. It was good but it didn't knock it hot of the park for me. This is the 3rd Five Guys location I have tried ---and I think the Baton Rouge area will soon have 2 more locations----which is fine by me. This location appears to be smaller than the Towne Center location and I think smaller than the LSU location but the decor and service and food is the same---peanuts to the all in one fountain drink with oh so many varieties to the hamburgers---all were thumbs up to me. Service was friendly and the food was ready rather quickly and prepared per request. I consider Five Guys a step above fast food---after this is a burger joint--but it does not cost much more and what you get is so much tasty and filling than a fast food joint yet you usually are served about as quick as a fast food joint these days. Baton Rouge has quite a few of these better burger than a fast food joint establishments and Five Guys is currently my favorite and preferred choice. read more

I love their burgers and fries! I crave these burgers. They are juicy and made to order! The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is because my to-go order of 2 burgers and 2 small fries (heavy) were placed in a thin small paper bag; the bag was soaked on the bottom with grease by time I got home. My friends and I ordered Five Guys through DoorDash for lunch. I wasn't very impressed by the presentation. Our food arrived pretty quickly, under 20 minutes but everything was soggy and the bag was covered in oil or grease from the fries. Kind of daunting looking. If I feel like a burger, this is usually my go-to. Bacon cheeseburger "all the way"-- (mayo, mustard, ketchup, onions, pickles, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms). Anyways, tonight I ordered through the website and 3/4 burgers weren't dressed correctly. It was super annoying as I drove all the way home to my hungry family before I figured it out. Been to many different 5 guys all around the country and I have never had a bad hamburger or fries at any of them but this location changed all of that. The hamburger didn't taste fresh, I got some fries that were all broken little pieces, and the staff was not friendly. There was no manager in a black shirt around and it showed. We all know five guys has amazing food..but what really stood out about this experience was the amazing service! We came into the restaurant 10 minutes before closing, at most places this would warrant some serious attitude from the employees but that was not the case. There was one gentleman in line ahead of us with a disability and the patience, kindness and care that the employee took while helping him with his order was very touching. A separate employee helped with our order and was equally accommodating! I hope this reaches management because the employees working tonight (April 30th) take serious pride in their job and should be recognized for doing so! We will be back very soon! read more
