I just spent 60.00 on food, the burgers are so small but tasypte like real beef. I didn't like the burger maybe I should've state what kind of condiments I wanted on them. I order funnel fries taste like they were fried in old oil and gives a bad after taste because of the old oil taste. I drive all the way from Baton Rouge to this location in Central when I want Checker's. The establishment is always clean. The assembly line is kept in pristine cleanliness as well. The workers regularly change out their gloves and my food is ALWAYS accurate. The one time I messed up on an online order and held the ketchup instead of mustard they were accommodating. It's the cleanliness and accuracy for me. In comparison to other Checker's, this location is super fast. I don't wait long at all. Nick and the lady he usually works with are the best. Once you visit this location on Sullivan's Rd in Central, you won't want to go to any other location around. The grease and fried foods are fresh. Their online ordering works. After shopping at Walmart, I stopped by Checkers inside the store to satisfy a burger craving. Since I can't have bread, I ordered the Buford without the bun. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff managed everything well, and I was more than happy to wait for good food. The young lady who took my order was incredibly sweet and attentive. I watched her carefully prepare my meal, ensuring everything was just right. She even finished my order with a tall cup of ice-free cherry Coke, just the way I like it. I also ordered food for my mom, and she thoughtfully explained how she packed our meals to avoid any confusion--I REALLY LIKED THAT! By the time we got to the car, the smell of those hot, crispy fries and perfectly seasoned burger patties was just too tempting. We couldn't wait until we got home, so we found a cozy spot in the back of the parking lot and enjoyed every bite. Oh the love I have for thee. Checkers and rally's are the best of the best fast food if you ask me. The fries are the best fries for fast food heck for most restaurants I've ever had too. The Walmart frozen fries don't do it justice. I always get the wings. I don't care if they charge me 15 bucks I'll still order them. They are fresh and have several different sauce options. The burgers are fresh as well This is my first time going to the central location as I usually visit the Kenner, Laplace, and Lafayette locations. Service was good and my order taker got me in and out fast. I always order a large fry. Always. So worth it. Only down side is this is located in the Walmart so you actually have to go in. read more

You don't see Checkers around here much anymore so I was happy to see this one in Walmart. There's an Auntie Ann's Pretzels right in with it, sharing counter space. I got the Big Buford combo. It's good a big double cheese burger fresh veggies and cheese on it. It could have been hotter but it was ok. I don't like their fries they are like twice fried battered, just not my thing. The place was pretty busy and seems like they are all day. It was clean and the staff was friendly and fast enough. The pretzels next to it are tempting but I put it off for another day! read more

Tried Checkers for the first time today. Great experience! The staff was really friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain things on the menu that was not familiar. The food was really good . Served fresh and hot . Some things we tried could have been better but all in all we enjoyed it all and will be coming back! read more

Should be less than 1. At the new location on Florida Blvd. Not sure why they chose this locale because it will always have substandard employees and service. Been in the drive thru for 15 minutes. Currently 8 cars in front of me. Was 10. Two employees were enjoying lunch outside 6 feet from the line of cars. They went in and now two more are out. As the line barely moves and people are waiting 20-40 minutes for food that will probably be also substandard. Yet, I am stuck in the line due to horrible design. I will never come here again because there will never be anyone in this store who cares about customer service or just simply "doing their job". Been here 25 minutes, stuck in line, still have not placed my order. The line behind me is in the street. I can't imagine the food will be worth it. And, oh, let me guess. The shake machine is not operable. Even though you've been open for mere weeks. Remember, I haven't even eaten the food. read more
