Missing food and accusing me of lying after I spent almost $100. Customer service is the worse and will NEVER return to this place.

Let me start by saying that I'm a fan of Popeyes. However, the food is quite expensive, and the wait times are long, so it's a rare treat. Last night, I decided it had been a while and craved some Popeyes. So, I gave in and ordered a 14-piece tenders, a large fries, and a large beans and rice to split, setting the pickup time for 8:00 pm. I pulled up to the drive-thru around 7:57 pm. The attendant informed me to wait a few minutes before taking my order. At 7:59 pm (thought this was perfect timing) she returned and I said I was picking up my app order. She then instructed me to park to the side, that she was currently bagging up my order, and she'd bring it out in a minute. It was probably a five-minute wait, which is surprisingly short considering my previous long wait times. I got home and opened everything, only to realize I was missing my large fries! I went back to the app and reported the issue to the AI, which offered me 200 points ($2). I thought, "WTF? Large fries are $7!" So, I declined. It countered with $3, and I declined again. I was getting frustrated because I was being lowballed and offered less than half the value of my missing item. The AI got stuck, so I closed the app and reopened it only to go through the entire process again. Finally, I found a way to send a message to customer service, and they promised to email me back. I explained everything that had happened, including my frustration with not being fairly compensated for my missing items, not to mention how the meal was basically ruined by missing a large portion of it. Their reply? $6. What?!? Does customer service and satisfaction no longer exist? What happened to companies that want to make things right with their customers and go out of their way to ensure repeat business? Popeyes won't even compensate me for the missing items! Good evening, hopefully my email will reach someone that is understanding for what I have experienced today at a local Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen located at 2709 US Highway 27 S, Sebring, FL 33870. This was by far the worse experience I have ever had from any popeyes ever. The manager was not attentive, she may need to sit in a training class again regarding food safety, safe serve and customer satisfaction. If I was a food critic this restaurant would be rated very low, and I would not recommend eating at this location. The food was very cold after waiting thirty-five minutes in the lobby, food was indeed missing, being looked over, the manager never asked did we order or what are we waiting on. The manager carelessly went on to speak to other customers about outside of work conversation, still never acknowledging that customers are without their food and awaiting in the lobby. After thirty-five minutes I asked for my money back and the manager laughed as if I told a major joke but the funny thing is we could have went to KFC, CHURCHES CHICKEN, GYROS OR ANY OTHER CHICKEN PLACE but we gave this popeyes our well spent money, a lot of time out of our day today just to be disrespected by a retired meth addict who should be running the place of business appropriately and making sure customers are taken care of. Train employees and managers to do better we could have been who corporate answers too and everybody would be fired. If French fries were the only sides, we ordered how come we did not have them in our bags? We waited so patiently which is a bummer. Please forgive me but I needed to jump on the bandwagon! I am a spicy chicken sandwich aficionado so of course I patronize that place with the redheaded girl and the place that closes on Sunday. Those sandwiches are fine but today I visited the new Mecca of chicken sandwiches and that of course is Popeyes. I've been several times. I ordered the spicy version along with some beans and rice. So what did I think of the sandwich? - Holy shit, God damn, Son-of-a-bitch, Great God Almighty that was one awesome sandwich. I was moaning and rolling my eyes with pleasure and generally embarrassing myself and a couple of elderly ladies stared at me. I think they thought I was a reject from some X-rated movie or something. It was that good! The bun was buttery and soft and did not fall apart. The pickles added a nice tart note that was appreciated. It was really spicy, and I really really liked that. Much more so that the other two places. The batter on the chicken was crispy and the chicken was incredibly thick and juicy. See my picture. If I had to pick between having this sandwich and a hot night with a Victoria's Secret model, I'd have to think about it. I'm not kidding! The other issue worth mentioning is that the sides are incredible here! Cajun Fries, Beans & Rice, Mashed Potatoes with Cajun gravy are worlds better than the other folks. This sandwich is clearly a game changer for the fast food industry, and I can't wait to see how it all shakes out. The only issue I have with Popeyes is that the employees have a lot to be desired. I have golf balls that have a higher IQ than most of these folks. However, the food is so amazing that I tolerate it. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! Thee most inconsiderate no brained little kids. The Shift manager "T" (as it said on her name tag)was disrespectful and told me that my child should just eat what she gets!!! I drive 20 Minutes to get the food, to get home to be missing ALL the sides. Upset because we have nothing but a sandwich to eat and a cheese cake, I drove back to get my money back for my missing items and my inconvenience and I did NOT eat my food because I went back to the store instead. I had spent from 8:15-8:45 in the drive through just to return to the store at 9:30 requesting my money back. Almost $50 for uneaten food and half a meal for us each. Visited on 2/12/24. I wanted to try the Spicy TRUFF Chicken Sandwich. I was told at the drive-up that they didn't have it or were out. THEN TAKE DOWN THE SIGN if you don't have something. Ordered the Bacon and Cheese Sandwich instead. Fries were soggy and luke warm. Opened sandwich and the top of the bun was all tore up. Sandwich was not hot. Had a funky texture. The meat looked ok. The food is good, however, everytime I have ever eaten here, they have always messed up at least one thing in my order. The customer service isnt very good. I ordered today through the drive thru the 5pc tender w fries&biscuit and had to wait over 25 minutes to get my food. Made a stop for an early lunch crossing through the state. Found this Popeye's and stopped in for a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It was early am and there was not a lunch crowd yet. The girl behind the counter was super nice and was patient as we gathered our order together. We started with just a sandwich and a drink but then asked if we got the combo, could we have a biscuit instead of the sides listed. She answered Yes and then changed our orders to Combo meals. Food came up quickly and it was served fresh and hot. It was soooooo good. Now craving it again. The manager helped out a bit since the girl was new and just checked to make sure our order was correct. As I was leaving, I noticed a sign near the door. It said if you did the survey from the receipt, you would get the code for a free 2 piece meal free with purchase of a large soda. Last weekend I bought Popeyes for me and my family. Unfortunately once I got home is when I realized that the frozen lemonade had a fly in it. I took a picture and contacted customer service. Jessica was very apologetic and offered to give me digital points on their website on mobile orders. I don't do mobile orders and requested the money I spent on the drink; however, I was denied. That is such bad customer service. Popeyes usually has very bad customer service in the restaurants but I thought a department dedicated to such things would've been different. Guess I was wrong. i got a 3 wing combo, with slaw, biscuit and drink. I ordered another side of Mac n cheese side and an apple cinnamon pie. I waited almost 10 minutes for the pie. when I got home there was no napkins and nothing to eat with. BUT the thing that got me that it cost a few cents under $20. I thought that was pretty pricey. I could have had a steak dinner for that price. but it was all good but for the cost it should have been. read more

Went to Popeyes in Sebring Florida today picked up a nine piece family meal asked if I could have all dark meat they said no that it was three drumsticks ,two thighs,two wings and two breast . They closed the inside an hour early so I had to go thru the drive thru... there was NO biscuits and NO coleslaw available... Am I missing something here? What is all the fuss about the kfc $5 fill up is a WAY better deal than what they offer... chicken tasted pretty much the same as kfc so when the thrill of this new store is over I can see many people going back to kfc - way better deal and they stock coleslaw and biscuits. read more

The chicken sandwich is great as advertised. Other things I've bought are also very good. But.... the drive thru is easily the slowest I've ever encountered. If there's 5 cars in front of you in line you better be prepared for a 25-30 minute wait. Even when you get to the window it's a 5 minute wait. It's a good thing the food is worth it. Mostly. Today seems a bit better. I was 5th car in line and now 2nd to window and I've waited only 15 minutes I must add the staff is very courteous and friendly and actually make me forget the long wait times. Worst customer service ever. Pulled in the drive through at 10:40 and they said they were closed. It says they open at 10 online and outside it says 10:30. Pulled up to the window and got ignored. Best chicken you will have outside Grandma's cast iron pan. I go to a few other Popeyes and the Sebring store is so busy that you are guaranteed fresh, hot chicken every time. My only quibble is that sometimes my side order is left off. I don't discover this until I'm well into Lake Placid. Normally, if it's just the Cajun fries, I'm cool with it. But forget to include my Mac and cheese and you break my heart. I like the mild version of Popeye's along with h the Aforementioned Mac and cheese. (This mac and cheese was Anthony Bourdain's favorite). The chicken does not have batter all over it. Instead, you get a nice piece of good old fried chicken. The meat is tender and flavorful. You know how you eat that crunchy skin and think you're in heaven? The meat of the chicken is tremendously moist and delicious. As I mentioned, I sadly did not receive my Mac and cheese and I'll make sure I have the full order before I leave the window. Regardless, the staff here is very friendly and usually gets my order right. Another favorite is their lemonade. Do yourself a favor and get lemonade instead of soda. This lemonade is just the right amount of sweetness vs tartness. read more

If you used your credit or debit card at Popeyes drive thru in Sebring this August, check your statement. There was a 64.68 charge on my account to Popeyes. I purchased a 5$ meal with a small coke. I immediately called my credit card company and reported the fraud. I learned a very important lesson.. always keep cash on me and NEVER EVER hand my card over to ANYONE for ANY reason. I know I can't be he only person who has been stolen from. This place isn't going to last long with their mediocre food, small portions, high prices and thieves for workers. Popeyes does not change its frying oil therefore I got terribly sick from eating their chicken.

The staff treated me like I was a piece of trash. I asked for some buffalo sauce and the fry cook came out from the back screaming at me saying you can't have it unless you pay for it. I bought $18 worth of fried chicken too. When I left I called the Popeyes Customer service number and told them about the incident they didn't seem to care much about what I had to say and I never heard back from them. Awful experience every time I try them . I'm done , because if your going to sell a product , at least have it to sell. They never have anything on the menu .
