The employees at this location are slow and inefficient. They could care less about any customers that are standing in line waiting or in the drive-through. They also don't care about their DoorDash drivers that are there for pick up. They simply ignore you and no one will greet you or attempt to complete the order you've already placed online. Well, the chicken was hot & tasty like Popeyes should be. The staff was struggling to say the least. The cars were to the road & when I left 25 minutes after I ordered there were 20 people waiting for their orders. I ordered a 8 pieces dinner. I got 2 breast & 6 thighs. No wings or legs ! Also no French fries! I would call and complain but nothing will happen. The manager likes to talk positive but then barks if you don't agree with her. Her attitude would change on a dime. Placed a mobile on Saturday 2/28 for tenders meal for two. Waited behind several cars, then there was car in front of me. We waited 15 minutes if not more and nobody took the lady in front of I order. I went around and drove up to the window. Finally a guy opened the window and I said I had a mobile order he told me to move back because they just had shift change etc. I wasn't moving back and the lady that had been in front ended up driving off because they never took her order either. When I asked how I could get a refund from placing a mobile order he was like I don't know. Very rude unwilling to help or direct me. And never bothered asking what I had ordered. There was only two of us in the drive up and now I had been there over 20 minutes. The app doesn't give you an option for a refund and the customer service who sends an email which seems to be automated offered a $20 coupon. No I want my money back for the food I did not receive not a coupon because I will not be going back to Popeyes. Also, every time I place an order via the app it is never ready when I arrive. They always ask you to pull around so they can bring it out to you. There are more cars lined up because they have all pull around and wait. And shift change should not stop them from taking orders! Maybe they should consider not having all leave at one time and all come in at the same time if this disrupts them being able to serve people. Used Uber Eats. 11am order. Uber Eats had issues and did not deliver until 12:45pm. Uber problem. But, Uber driver stated my bag was waiting at Popeye's when he came at 12:30pm to pick up the food. I am curious as to how the staff at Popeye's could let a bag of their food go to a customer after it sat for 1.5 hours. Could they have made a fresh bag when the driver finally showed up? Ordered on the app for pickup, traffic had me about 15min.late. When I finally arrived nobody at the front counter.... patiently waited another 10 minutes before I had to address the workers in the back if my order was ready and was not and will be coming up soon. 2 more pickup customers came in and also had to wait a bit and theirs was delivered before mine. After another 20min I finally received my order just thrown in a bag not flat and disheveled. I reorganized it and left. I ordered an 8pc spicy all white chicken with a 6pc bone in wings. The wings were not seasoned correctly ALL the seasoning was at the bottom of the box with hardly none on the wings. My 8pc all white spicy chicken was 2 breasts and 6 wings! Really?? 2 wings weren't even spicy. I have been ordering this same order for months every Monday. I cannot believe how disappointed I am over a food order! Best Popeyes I've had in a long time. Service was prompt, line moved swiftly. Bathroom was clean and had soap in dispenser. Yea it's the little things. Dining area was clean and cashier that took my order was cleaning the beverage station as I waiting for my food. I went a little before lunch crowd around 11:15. Very impressed. The downside of the star rating is the drive thru they told me to pull over but the design of the drive thru was so small that I had to do several turns just to pull out. But the food was so good, the spicy chicken tenders with sweet heat sauce with a side of fries was my go to. So I rate the food 5 stars easily. read more

This is the worst Popeyes I've ever been to. They treat the customer like a nuisance with disrespect and bad attitudes. I went inside several years ago and had a bad experience here so never came back until last week and it was even worse than before. Lady taking orders was completely ticked that we didn't know what we wanted to order and read the menu for a couple of minutes. That's why we went inside instead of the drive thru. Sorry, we don't go to Popeyes often enough to know the menu by heart. Another woman in the food prep area was cursing loud enough that anyone in the lobby could hear, including my young daughter, using the f-word and others. When the food finally came out, the rude woman just called my number and shoved the food at me. No thank you, nothing. Because I live close to this Popeyes, it is often the place I go to get good and fast chicken. But this Popeyes has almost never been fast and has never given a good experience. I walked in today to get a 5 piece tender combo to find a long line and a kitchen staff that is fighting and yelling at each other. Cool, No problem, but as I get to the front of the line, I am told that the order I placed on the POPEYES app is not going to be made. Even after I showed them my order in the Popeyes app for which there is a sign outside (ordered to the correct location), and a charge on my card from "Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen", I am simply told with a stern voice "Fine. ordered food on mobile app. checked in 15 mins prior to arrival because I know it takes at least that long to count to 14. When I arrived I checked in at counter letting them know i was picking up a mobile order. After waiting a long time for my food I noticed people that ordered food from the counter after i arrived were recieving their order before me. Ok, so I went to the counter and the girl I was dealing with disappeared. Some other guy was at the counter. I asked him excuse me can i please get my food. He got all rude and said who are you. I dont know anything about your food. I tried to explain I had a mobile order and was waiting but he wouldn't let me talk. he said Waiter people need to wait for their food. I said I am not fing waiter and tried to explain again. he said i aint got time for this. I once again tried to explain and he said you can come back here and make your own food. Then the girl showed up and took over and got my food. no apology and of course my order was wrong. I highly reccomend nobody goes to popeyes on Hwy 190 in Covington la. Unbelievable.
